***february 2018 testing thread***

So I think I have my cycle all wrong! I was using opks and thought I had a positive on cd11 but decided to chance one tonight on cd16 due to the cramps I’ve been having all day and it seems like I have actually got a proper positive tonight for the first time. When does this mean I will ovulate?

More thank likely the next day or two. Get BDing your at your peak by the looks of it x

Can I have the 9th please ? Will be 11 dpo then, I don't believe I could possibly hold off till any more than that , so just being realistic this time 😀.. even though will most likely start testing from like 2 dpo as usual lol

Think I'm in for a shorter cycle this month as got my first positive OPK today (CD11). I reckon AF will be due 10th/11th but I'm sticking with 16th as my testing day as I know I'll hold out!! Hope it's a good month for everyone

And the fun begins cd#9 on cycle 14 and we started the baby dancing this morning (earlier than normal but going to cover as much as we can for one last proper 'trying ' month then we will just be more relaxed about it from here on in as it's getting to both of us now) starting my opks tmrw but last 9 of them so it buying anymore. I am going to track my temp from tmrw for a week too and then not doing that anymore either.

This is our 1st proper cycle post hsg test so hoping we have a good shot at It. Good luck everyone else ttc for February!

How's everyone feeling? I was dumb and did OPKs, which haven't worked for me in the past, and sure enough they still don't seem to work. Even testing 4 or even 5 times a day, I never got anywhere near a positive. I'm on cd18 now and still nothing close to a positive, I guess it's possible I haven't ovulated yet or won't this cycle, anyway I don't think we've timed things right for this month... it's all so confusing. I swear I'm never peeing on anything ever again unless my period is a week late (don't hold me to that).

Well I caved far too early today to scratch poas itch and of course was BFN. So screw it gonna enjoy my week off work...stop thinking about TTC. Enjoy hot tub and champers and couple days in Scotland Thurs to Sat. Then sat is my actual birthday so gonna just relax. Maybe test sat or Sun if I feel like it. Tbh maybe not....i don't think this was our month and I'm actually ok about it. Will see what Feb brings for us. Coil came out Feb last year...we used condoms briefly due to treatment I had following smear. Then were ntnp from about April then ttc from June. So I figure if we get to March then will look for gp appt to start ball rolling and get chdcked. Hopefully BFP beats me to it. Positive thinking and de stress all the way this week x

So OPK still positive today. Dtd this afternoon. Won't be able to dtd tomorrow but that's totally fine as we're trying to take away the pressure. I feel a lot more relaxed this month. I think the obsessing finally took it's toll. So much so that I'm actually contemplating the idea of powering through until we eventually get to IVF. I'm sure I'll say the opposite in 2 weeks time haha!!

Out for January so can start properly looking forward to February ttc.

I have discussed with my DH the fact that a bfp next month would mean 2 kids with birthdays in November but he seems to think that it'd be doable!

O time should be around the 10th(ish).

I can't remember if I put myself down for a date but can I have 25th please?

Scan went okay lining is 9.1mm so more than needed and don't need another scan!!
Monday should be transfer day (if all goes well)

Waiting to go in now!

Embryo thawed out okay, with a 90% percent chance of survival! And has reinflated perfectly. The embryologist seemed really positive so we're both so so happy!!!

Official test date is the 12th Feb, so you can add me for that date please xx

Transfer went really well. They got me prepped for sedation but wanted to try without to see how it went.
I only needed a tiny amount of sedative and some painkillers. Didn't sleep at all so recovery was fast!

Now the dreaded tww!
