My DD is almost 12. We have nothing from her. And there are no babies in my immediate family or friends. So nothing to get cheap or free. Thank God for eBay and gum tree! Lol

Morning ladies! Just been having a catch up with posts not been on for a bit, been a busy d time! Just wanted to say happy new year to you all!! Can't believe we will meet our little angels in a matter of weeks!

Next weekend is only 2/3 days before your scan?



I am also not sure how much the Sonographer can or will tell you, any issues I've ever heard of being picked up at private scan have immediately been referred to NHS.



I appreciate that you want some reassurance, hopefully the consultant on Tuesday can alleviate some of your worries or even push your scan forward?

I think I will see what the consultant says on Tuesday... if it seems sensible, then maybe i will leave it.

I just feel like I need a second opinion on things. It doesnt help that ive been left to it over the Christmas period as basically everyone is off work. I feel like no one is listening and no one is helping, but maybe that will change after the appointment on Tuesday!

I just looked at my notes briefly..January is going to be a very busy month! I might as well live in the hospital! Back there on the 3rd for yet more blood tests, then the 11th I see the midwife again, And then on 21st I have another scan on my liver, And lots more blood tests! who knew cholestatis could wreak this much havoc in pregnancy! :/

My SIL has ordered us a moses basket! And won't let me give her the money for it , My parents are buying the pram, So all I need to do is buy the cot, bedding and bits for my hospital bag! my niece is 6 months old so I've gotten quite a lot of the hand me downs!

We have an all black Bugabee Chameleon.

3rd hand now but I got a new chassis last year (old one broke) and we've got a new hood and new handle bar (toddler chewed the old one )

I've got 3 appointments in 2 days second week of Jan. Actually makes it a bit easier as I have consultant and then scan.... they are based in same part of hospital.

I have a mama's and Papas pramette and a travel system from Mothercare.
We got most stuff almost new from gum tree tbh. Meant we got a lot more for our £££.

Had an odd night last night. Little girl was literally jumping from side to side and wriggling for hours. It was so hard my bump was going full circle with her and I had my head over a bucket. Not comfortable but so funny to watch. Hope she's got herself comfy now.

Well I now officially cannot put my socks on.

And I've just had my first ever 'hypo'. Blood sugar levels way too low (machine was making all kinds of beeping) and I've had to have an emergency pack of Haribo.

Thankfully I knew I felt very odd and decided to test.

I had almost every hypo symptom as well. Shaking, sweating, funny vision. It's very rare to have a proper hypo with GD but this was awful, and I'm not sure what it means? Extra testing until I can speak to someone on Tuesday I guess.

Mine is old albeit it was decent at the time. I’m being a brat!

I’m in a lot of pain today.. my back and bump feel very sore. I think a bath and an early night!

Hope you're all ok.

We've put the crib up today,moved stuff around the room to fit it in. We've ordered a car seat, muslins and blankets. Need to order a new mattress. Found the fitted sheets and some of DDs baby clothes that will be suitable for baby too.

I'm bunged up with a cold virus again, wheezing, coughing and peeing myself constantly! I'm so fed up of germs now!

Just having a quick catch up, hope you are all well!

Starting to feel more normal now after a stinker of a cold. I had a delivery of blankets and things the other day so I’m now on with doing all my baby washing. Once that’s done I’m going to start packing my bags so I know what I still need to buy.

We’ve gone for a Venicci travel system, can’t wait to get it now. Needed something that had decent suspension as it’ll be off-road a lot of the time on dog walks.
