What a lovely bump! I'll be 37 weeks when the do the ECV and am guessing if it doesn't work they'll book in the section. Saw my midwife today and she said do lots of crawling and downward dogs to try and get him to turn by himself!

Nic in my first pregnancy i did the nct course and I remember the teacher raving about something called 'Rebozo sifting' to help encourage a breech baby to turn. We all had a go and it felt really comfortable in general but not had to try it for breech reasons. Thought Id share though!xx

Hey ladies so I've been rubbish and awol on this thread!! Glad to see your all well and massive congrats to Bethany :)

I had my vbac appt today and after a long chat she felt baby and said was sure head down but then listened to heart which was in the upper quadrant so she's not sure if breech again. My first was a section due to breech and I can't help feeling a little deflated (even though I wasn't sure what to do). I've a scan Monday to confirm! If heart is heard high I'm guessing breech again and she also worried me saying second sections can be a longer recovery :( I just wanted the chance to be up and able quickly.

I hope your all keeping well and it's not too tough for someone of you having hard pregnancy x

Never heard of it. Thanks I'll have a look x

There is a website too i believe called "spinning babies" which had some great positions and ideas for getting baby to turn.

Done a update in January baby one as she was born last night 8:18 practically 24 hours after pessary from waters to popping only 5 hours with only paracetamol and no stitches needed!!!!
She weighed 4lb 6 and is the most beauitful thing I've ever seen
Eden Jean knight

Congratulation bethany, sounds like an ideal labour and birth, well done you! Gorgeous name too, hope you both are well and Eden is strong. My niece was born at that weight and needed little support x

Thanks ladies. And I have no idea why they are taking so long. He did say he just wanted to make sure before he decides, which is fair enough but it's like I'm getting parmed off and no one wants to take responsibility. I'm not bothered which one I have as long as it's safe for Ruth. If I have a natural birth aprantly there is a 1-2000 of her catching what I have. Which has deterred me from natural labour. It would help if someone just sat me down and gave me all the facts which no one seems to be doing. They just keep talking about other stuff or change the subject. I'm 36 weeks today and she could be here soon before a decision is made! Xx

Had my 36 week growth scan and consultant appt today. All good at scan. Baby growing lovely. No more scans now. Consultant happy for me to have a normal vbac birth. See her again day after I go overdue to give me a sweep to get things moving if not gone into labour already. So great news! Xx

Good news luratraloora, pleased all is well for you.

Tigeress that sounds so frustrating, can you not talk to midwife and go over everything?

Tigress that sounds so frustrating. I hope they give you an answer soon!

Lura, thats fab news!! Fingers crossed you have a wonderful vbac experience.

Anyone else's boobs started hurting? Like pmt/early pregnancy sort of pain? I didn't get this the last 2 times.

Thanks ladies.

I've tried the midwives and they just keep saying it's not there responsibility and to talk to the doctors or consultants. Which I have been doing since 30 weeks. I've got another midwife appointment on Monday in the morning so I might just see what she says. As its a different one every time xx

Congrats Bethany, that's quite a good weight seeing as she was so early, hope all is going well!

Lura that's brilliant news and love your bump pic, it's perfect!

Tigress your situation sounds very frustrating they need to hurry up otherwise she might make the decision for them and arrive before a real plan is in place!

Babybee no boob pain here yet but I seem to remember i got it that the end of pregnancy last time round, I am however already doing so hand expressing when in the bath or shower as I had poor supply last time and want to give breastfeeding a good shot this time round.

Hope the next few weeks continue to go quickly, I have 1 month left still! Xx

Babybee my boobs have started hurting again but not as bad as they were at the beginning

I've got my ECV today so wish me luck!

Nic good luck today! Really hope the baby moves. Ill be keeping everything crossed!

Kimmy, that's interesting. Are you getting any milk with the hand expressing?

I hope everyone else is ok! Bethany, hows everything going with baby Eden? Are you home?

I have my scan at the fetal medicine unit in an hour. Fingers crossed its all ok and I can stick to my original section date.x

Thanks hun, yea I've got a feeling I'll be getting her ready for school when they make a decision it's got so silly now. Me and hubby are gonna have a good chat about the two sessions tonight so that on Tuesday I walk in with what I want to do instead of leaving it up to them as its getting us no where xx

Good idea Tigress, its as though noone wants to make a decision! So annoying.

Thanks Lura. The scan went really well, first time I've felt reassured this pregnancy. She checked the blood flow to and from umbilical cord and also from the brain. All that was good. Also she explained if it was aneamic like my eldest was, it would be slumped over. But the baby had good strong muscle tone and was holding itself well. So I just feel so much better about it all now.x

Hey everyone. The ECV didn't work, they tried 4 times but he just wouldn't budge and the consultant wasn't happy to keep trying and distress the baby so have to have a section at 39 weeks. Not my ideal situation but I've done everything u can to get him to move

Thanks hun, it's like they are parming responsibility to one another.

So glad you've been reassured hun xxx
