Good luck for tomorrow Lulu and hope your scan goes well Almeria.

Seen my MW, she did attempt a sweep but the external part was open but the internal part was still closed and she couldn't get her finger in and believe me she bloody tried lol! Have had a bit of bleeding and some period type cramps which I guess is normal. Got an appt at the Day Unit next Thursday for scan, monitoring and another sweep and then if nothing comes of that I'll be induced on the 23rd xx

i'm still here Jen . . . just!

i woke up yesterday full of energy and decided that i'd go to the shop to get the ingredients for a nice hot curry . . . came home and cleaned the house up (total nesting i think!) had the hot curry (was lovely but really hot) and started to have regular pains, quite spaced out but lasting 30/40 seconds! to go with the back ache i'd had all day! woke up a few times in the night as they'd got stronger, and have defiantly started to lose my plug been out of bed for just over and hour and have had quite regular pains, which are now 4/6 mins apart and lasting 35+ seconds . . . hopefully this is it and not a false start! will keep you all posted

also . . . just checked and Heppi hasn't been on since yesterday early morning, hope her trip to town got things going for her again! maybe she's even given birth by now . . . as she's normally popping on and off all day! eeek best of luck to you Heppi either way x

Helloo girls still here preggers too! Had the sweep on Tuesday and mw was surprised at how favourable everything is and I'm already 2cms dilated!! She said she thought I would go before Friday but still here! She said if ive not gone into labour before Friday she will eat her hat! Got a midwife appt tomoro, and induction is booked for Monday. Really hoping baba comes before then, got loads of cramping and I'm having shows too, braxton hicks are so strong.. I would like to go naturally, but I guess one way or another baba will be here soon. She's keeping us all waiting, typical woman hehe. Hope you are all well! Xxx

Hey Scottish Lassie glad your sweep went well, you're well on the way now. Think these August babies are just enjoying keeping us waiting. FC you go over the weekend.

Thanks jacki really hope I go over the weekend too! I've known a few people to have inductions booked and then to go a couple of days or the day before the induction so hoping baba does the same! The midwife was so shocked at how favourable things were, I was only 4 days overdue and this being my first she expected the cervix to be far back, hard and not within easy reach. But cervix is really far forward, soft, babies head is practically there and 2cms dilated!! She was more excited than me . Hopefully all these cramps and pains mean things have progressed, I'll find out tomoro .

Have you spoke to your mw about a sweep? Or are you getting one hun? Xxx

Scottishlassie - great news about your cervix, can only make things easier surely if you have to be induced!

Jacki - hopefully your not waiting to long, and it all kicks off over the weekend!



Omg, slight drama last night, I woke up desperate for a wee and I couldn't walk..lol, my hips and back were in agony, damn you SPD! So I had to crawl to the bathroom! Just thought I'd leave you all with that lovely image! Lol.. Xx

I was originally on the september babies forum, as I'm due the 2nd september but because I've got a cyst I've been pre-booked in for a c-section at 37 weeks and 5 days on the 17th August. Afternoon ladies, I can't get myself going today at all. I've only just put the washing on and I want to hoover but I've been sat on facebook for the past hour lol.

I'm still having some brownish bleeding when I wipe (sorry TMI) which I'm just putting down to yesterday but just maybe it means things are going in the right direction.

Welcome Tash you'll be probably be having your little one before me too!

My friend is in labour - she's 8cm & her waters have broken, I'm so excited!

Kel - I have had a tonne of energy this week, have been nesting like noone's business! I keep thinking, hmmm maybe this week (originally thought Friday) but then think realistically I'm prob going to go overdue & I bet I'm induced! Have had no loss of plug or anything, a few niggly back pains but that could be due to all the cleaning! God your SPD sounds awful, you poor thing! How are you feeling otherwise? Xx
