Kel - I have had a tonne of energy this week, have been nesting like noone's business! I keep thinking, hmmm maybe this week (originally thought Friday) but then think realistically I'm prob going to go overdue & I bet I'm induced! Have had no loss of plug or anything, a few niggly back pains but that could be due to all the cleaning! God your SPD sounds awful, you poor thing! How are you feeling otherwise? Xx

Yes ive had the energy burst to, think ive cleaned every kitchen cuboard, and cleared mine and brooke wardrobe out, got rid of all our old clothes/shoes, then put it all back again, ive even baked cakes which normally i just leave it up to OH to do with brooke plus loads of other things! Nesting has seriously kicked in! ive had about 4 texts and 5 messages to my inbox on facebook asking about LO today, i havent even reached my due date yet! see im still losing plug, seems to have increased tho, im losing more of it now! Yukky!! ive had constant backache for the past week, but because of my SPD id never know if it was a sign of early labour, Yer my SPD was pretty awful last night, but had to have a laugh about it, i must of looked a right sight! BUT apart from all that i feel fine, im not getting impatient YET!! how are you feeling? you must be soo excited about your friend, i would be to.. its all exciting as we know babies ARE going to be born next week and the week after!! i cant wait! hehe xx

On Tuesday I cleaned like a mad woman and this arvo I had another burst too but I've had pretty much constant back ache for about 2-3 hours now - feels a little bit like period pain and some of it is low down in my tummy but I don't know again if it's cause I've been cleaning or out walking... Baby moving around in lots of jerky movements so who knows what's going on? I think it's just wishful thinking though as I had thought maybe tomorrow things would get going & with Sam's baby about to be born I might just be starting to feel a bit impatient...!

had my growth scan, baby is approx 7lb 4, apparently I am full of baby and placenta but have little liquor.
he's been growing these last 3 weks, but my bump hasn't been!
had a speculum to check waters hadn't gone, all was fine, but i need another scan next week (unless i go into labour first!)
if waters measure too low, they will think about inducing me....eek
hope not!

hope everyone else is feeling positive and not too uncomfortable tonight x

Hi all

I posted this morning in the Girlies Room as most of the girls over there are Mummies already. Wondering if things may be starting for me. Started to get back ache around 3ish yesterday, had a bath & it stopped but when I got into bed it started again and was pretty constant. Also had a few tightenings, not like BH, a bit gentler but my breathing seemed to change with them and they made me a bit flush - had 3 in about 30-40 mins, but they stopped and I went to bed. Couldn't settle so got up again and when I got back in to bed the back ache was there again. It was so uncomfortable this morning too - it seems to be pretty constant and I've had that full period like feeling in my tummy at times too. My back is now constantly aching (I am darting round the house trying to get the last of my jobs done though, so this could be contributing to that) and I feel like I've got a poorly tummy and this sensation keeps coming & going, if it keeps on and I don't manage to go to the loo I might start timing it...

Do you think it sounds like things could be on the move? x

Nothing, nothing at all *sigh* baba is obviously very comfy and showing no signs of coming any time soon, even though his due date is tomorrow!!

I've tried pineapple, spicy food, been drinking raspberry leaf tea ... still no budging him!

Come on baba, mummy is waiting x

I feel OK, typical that as soon as I sat down on the ball it all stopped Now just feel a bit sick and really tired - have done ALL the jobs in my house that needed doing; there's just some washing left to do and I might change the bed linen over the weekend but I have literally done everything as well as go out and get something for my new friends baby! Bounced on and off for a couple of hours this afternoon but it just makes my pelvis feel very heavy... Feel absolutely knackered now so going to chill tonight and see if I get anymore back ache.

Typical, Well hopefully that was just a little taster of whats going to come over the weekend! You think you will go early? Well before due date..

Im fine thanks, got Bad pains in my foof tonight, but have been out pretty much all day so im guessing its my SPD, im going to have my first clary sage bath tonight, im not very hopeful but at least it is ment to help relax you! i read that people have had a bath in it and gone into labour the next day (excited) also ive taken a Evening primrose oil capsule, and will insert one up my Foof (Sorry TMI) before i go to bed! Every little helps, even if its does nothing at least i tried! x

Hi girls just a wee update from me. At midwife appt yesterday I had a 2nd sweep and midwife said I'm 3cms and can be stretched 4-5 but just bouncing back to 3 as babys head - although very low down and practically there - isn't pushing down hard enough for it to keep widening. Got hooked up to a monitor for 20 mins to watch babys heart beat and to see if I'm contracting and also I had to click a button when I felt her move. Everythings fine, I am contracting which I've been feeling, just not hard enough. Last night had really big shows, (tmi) bloody mucus stuff lovely!! But looks promising the pains are really sore though and my back ache is really bad too. The midwife said if no baby over the weekend they will be able to pop my waters at the induction on Monday, or I may get a drip to get contractions stronger. So will have a baby very soon! So excited but nervous too!! Hope you are all doing good xxx

I was thinking about you yesterday! Good news about your cervix, hopefully you go over the weekend (think you will) so you don't have to be induced! Exciting stuff, all these babies waiting to come out! I freaked myself out had a weird dream about little man last night he came out the size of a one year old!!! Yikes!

Hi all..... Howz everyone today? I could not sleep again last night so was up till 4.30am but at least my kids let me sleep till 10am this morning - bonus!! So Louise has Poppy, how wonderful and Scottishlassie I'm sure you will go before monday - so exciting.
I seem to have lost concentration while working hmmmm anyone else having difficulty knowing which bloody day of week it is?? My hubby works shifts and I'm stranded at home with kids so feel very trapped. Cant even go out for walk cos a)pissing down b) SPD too sore. Have no energy so obviously not got to my nesting stage yet eh? I'm bidding on ebay for a set of new cloth nappies so fingers crossed I get them but bidding against someone else - hope its none of you guys lol I'll find out at 2.30 this afternoon if won. So what else is new with you all? As I'm the last one in August, all you guys will abandon me and I'll be left on this thread all on my own.... Hey, I'm getting good at talking to myself. I may have to meander onto September mummys thread hey ho. Wish I can grab one of my neighbours to go get be a bottle of pepsi max I really really want some..... will settle for another tray of ice cubes ha ha. OMG I now have about 6 trays a day, I crunch them which drives my hubby up the wall

What brand you bidding on tracey. I wouldnt recommend close parent pop ins they are akward.
I really think i will be here to september so i wont be leaving you anytime soon.
Ive compleatly lost track if what day it is aswell and not nesting either.

Aha but I crushed ice loads with Joshua.... The brand of nappies I'm bidding on little lamb. I had a sample at home and really liked them, bulkier than others but soooo soft.
Watching Biggest Loser USA for inspiration after baby here!! Ho hum its gonna be a looooong day!

Im thinking if trying zumba to lose the weight afterward.

I won the nappies woo hoo - £122 though still a massive saving.....I just better stick at it - hey I'm Scottish, when there is money involved, I will see it through lol.

After baby born I plan to walk to my office every day - 2 miles there and 2 miles back - should help get rid of the blubber. BF last time did not help me lose weight at all - then again I do feel like last time I just sat on fat arse all day and still ate loads so its gonna be different this time around...
