Midwife has just left... I'm only 2cms So just gotta wait and see now xx

The examination hurt... Apparently my cervix is to the back of bubs head so was difficult to get to and it's still fairly long but soft... Had an almighty couple of contractions after the exam but they've eased back to what they were before now xx

Like emerald said, 2cm is better than nothing, hopefully it won't take to long, maybe go for a bath, I know a bath sped things up for me when I had a brooke! So did MW give you a idea of how long till or when you might be in active labour?

Your having a home birth, so where r u going to give birth? Living room, bedroom?

I'm excited for you xx

Well, she's told me to call my midwife tomorrow so I can get my blood pressure checked on thursday... If baby isn't here by then... Didn't say anything about time scales...

Will be having her in the living room Only room with enough space really

I'm going to have something to eat then try and get some sleep cause she said things are likely to go quicker if I'm well rested xx

OK, had a few hours sleep, just woken up and no contractions so far But... Everything started up yesterday when I was walking around town and I have to go back into town today. So... Fingers crossed walking about will kick start it all again xx

Hope going in town kick starts the contractions for you heppi but be carefull not to overdo it, you dont want to end up giving birth in the middle of town lol

it is the FULL MOON on Friday!!!!!!

so, we should all go into labour together... hehe

I have a growth scan tomorrow at 39+2 as MW hasn't measured any growth for 3 weeks, am measuring 37cms still.
She did estimate a 7 1/2 pound baby though by having a good feel around, so hoping I am just 'off' on my fundal height????

bricking it though, it's stressful all these hospital visits!
