We're back home for now... Lost plug and still contracting, but only every 10mins. They gave me the choice: go home and come back when it increases naturally or get medication to speed things up. Couldn't believe that they offered that, it's not like I'm overdue yet. I want this baby soon, but I won't force her out before due date!! Good luck MrsB! I hope summer and Nicki have their babies by now!

No baby for me but a very upset mummy.
Had my 2nd sweep, no changes from my first so she's fairly convinced I'll be induced. Was told hubby can't stay with me until I'm in active labour but we live a fair drive away from the hospital, in rush hour it can take upto 2 hours so if baby got distressed and I needed an emergency c section hubby wouldn't be there. The whole thing is a mess I never imagined I'd have to go through any part of this on my own, my anxiety is through the roof, I feel like crap and I just want this to be over now.

It won't let me upload a pic, but...

Jacob Andrew born today at 11:20 weighing a whopping 8 pound 12oz, with no pain relief, even if he was back to back to begin with! I am so overcome with emotion, and possibly as I have not slept since Sunday morning... he is currently enjoying snuggles with me.

It was a very painful labour, had the hormone drip started at 2:50 this morning, but couldn't have an epidural as I went from 0-6cms in an hour I think! No pethidine as he was induced for reduced movements. I am so proud of myself!

Our babies weighed exactly the same and we both had a very similar labour how weird! congratulations lovely! xxx
