August 2020 Mummies

What ashame @mummybear2 I really feel for you as I only ever had nausea and that was bad enough for me along with being sick no wonder you have no energy. I have nausea today but never been sick and first day in few weeks so can't complain. I suffer more from really bad acid reflux all day and really bad at night keeping me awake so tired constantly but i can't complain.

Hope you get rest and some relief from vomiting soon :-( xxx

How is everyone feeling today?

In all honestly I am absolutely miserable. The nausea and sickness has been really bad the last few days and I’m really struggling with still feeling like this. I am so thankful for the antisickness tablets because without them I think I would be vomiting non stop.
I am still struggling with no energy and my headache hasn’t gone away.

I’m just waiting for the good days to kick in...

I hope you are all feeling much better than me!

How awful your feeling so miserable, it is so draining feeling so sick for so long. I am still feeling nauseous but no where near what I was, I have now not been sick for just over a week so I am so happy about that, it has been the same time scale as with my other two. Hopefully you will feel better soon, as I seemed to have quite a drastic stop from being sick everyday to just nauseous overnight. I am hoping since it’s now been over a week I won’t go back to the vomiting but there have some very close mornings haha

We are still stuck on the mainland with boats not going but thankfully we have family here so are being well catered for :)

Hope all are well xxx

Oh no @Jac2019 acid reflux is the worst. I have a touch of it but luckily hasn’t got too bad yet. I hope you manage to get a good night sleep soon.

I’m just blaming the fact that there is two in there and I really did suffer with my first as well, I don’t think my body likes all the hormones.

I hope you manage to get home soon @Kiwi_53 glad you have family to look after you. Fingers crossed that’s the end of the sickness for you and the nausea will stop completely soon too.

Morning ladies, sorry this post maybe a bit tmi but I'm worried. For the last few days I've had some pinchy pains where the baby is and I've had quite a lot of clear/watery discharge. This morning I went for a run as I normally do and when I came back there was some light pink spotting, also there was a little lump probably half the size of a pea of what looked like old toilet tissue on the paper. I've text my midwife to ask what she thinks but I'm really worried!

Awwww @mummybear2 I cant complain as it hurts so much but rather that than my nausea again. Hope you feel better soon, I think It is due to having 2 little ones as they say morning sickness can be worse with 2 :-( xxx

@Kiwi_53 no way you had delay going out and delay going home but if have family that is a big relief and can have some quality time with them until home. Hope the holiday itself was great and relaxed you alot. Xxx

@Wilson14.. Maybe just need to go out walks and not run as much? They say too much exercise or sex could cause a little bleeding? Hopefully midwife will help and settle your worry. I am getting alot of cramping and pinching but think that's all just stretching.... Try and rest the last time I had some spotting I had complete rest for that day and next and all seemed to settle a little xxx

Yes I said to my husband I'm not going to run anymore, I haven't heard back from my midwife yet hopefully she gets back to me soon! Going to get myself an exercise bike instead so its low impact. So worried, I'm going to be on knicker watch all day!!x

I totally understand that as I have spotted three tines this pregnancy I look every day just incase but I do hope that is okay maybe the tiniest bit of your mucus plug but rest next day or 2 try not to exercise and let your body rest and hopefully all be okay. I just walk now so not straining that or swimming but I prefer walking. Hopefully midwife gets back soon and then you can rest xxx

Hope midwife got back to you @Wilson14 and you and @mummybear2 and @Jade jones are all feeling a little better now as you have all been poorly lately.

Well I am now back at pre pregnancy weight as I ate what I want there due to not eaten alot for weeks in first Tri... So back to try eat healthy as don't want to put on more weight than what is healthy. :lolly: :pompom: xxx

No haven't heard back, tried to ring her and phone off so I rung the maternity team who advised both midwives are off today so they gave me the number of another lady who was at the hospital and said I'm too far gone to go to EPAU so they've asked me to go up to day care at the hospital to be checked over - whatever that means?!xx

Awww best to get a wee check and maybe get a scan to make sure all okay? Day care where you go after the early pregnancy unit care as you are more than 12weeks they can see you just the same as early pregnancy unit if no appointment etc to be seen... Hope all goes okay and then home to rest. Xxx

Hope everything is ok @Wilson14 i think a little bit of spotting is normal but I would be the same as you and worry just the same. I am STILL checking every time I wipe! My guess would be the running set you off but if you can get up to the day centre to ease your mind that would be best.

Oh feeling all of the wriggling about this afternoon! Just been laying on the sofa and these little ones are moving so much.
I’ve been feeling fluttering for the last two weeks or so but this is kind of the first wow I can actually feel them moving.
Just sitting telling my 4 year old how bizarre it is having little babies move about in your tummy. She’s just laughing at me asking when she can feel too

Haha no way @mummybear2 I was the same felt movement so got my doppler (got just for OH to hear and include him and not for making sure all okay) to see if baby was there and sure enough found strong heartbeat straight away... Love the feeling but is so strange isn't it. You will feel so much more with 2 and earlier. Xxx

Back from hospital all ok checked heartbeat and did internal exam to check for blood, they said just to come back if it happens again but could be cervical ectropy which is nothing to worry about. Phew!x

Great to hear you got on okay at hospital @Wilson14 that must be a relief and hope you have your feet up now and resting.

Also great you are okay @Jade jones hope Tri 2 for everyone starts to get better x,,

Well we finally made it home last night :) so glad to be home. Have had a super busy day and feel I have pushed myself too far as started feeling a little shakey and realised it was this time and I had eaten nothing yet. Have sat and had something now so feeling loads better :) also getting so much movement these days :) it’s so lovely and hubby even managed to feel when we were on holiday :) only a week on Monday until my next scan, so excited but nervous, but time is flying far more now.

Hope your all ok xxx

Happy you are home but oh rest when you can hate when get the shake feeling.

That is brill your hubby can feel baby now too. I can't wait for my OH to be able to feel the movements... Xxx

Yeh I must try and learn that just because the sickness has passed a lot that I still need to let my body rest :)

It’s amazing being able to few baby, and so nice when other people can to, I can’t wait until it moves enough that my kids can, just now they don’t have the patience to wait with their hands on my tummy for any length of time.

I have also found I have gained weight on holiday so really thinking this is the turn around for me :) so glad as now I can try and enjoy the second half of my pregnancy :) xxx

I know I was darting about cleaning the other day and OH was like what you doing... I wasn't even thinking with wet floor.

Aww can't wait until your little ones can feel and you say how they react. That is great you have turned a corner and able to eat again. I'm trying to watch I feel weight is creeping on easily now. I really don't want to put on too much weight more than advised but have to just accept what will be and worry after. Think the holiday was exactly what you needed. I hope just to go a few days somewhere maybe April for a rest with OH before madness in July xx
