*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Wheezy - I hope your mw gets you to see the consultant to talk about what's going on. How far along are you now?
Mummy midwife - hope you get a chance to relax. Do what I do...don't look at the house lol
Alan- glad to hear the mw appt went well
Hope everyone else is doing great, relaxing, and keeping cool. :)

I can't wait for this weather to cool off! I used to live in a place that is always this warm....but I just can't take it anymore lol. My next mw appt isn't for two weeks. Will have scan no 7, just before. I'm really hoping they tell me she's engaged and almost ready (she certainly feels low enough - especially when I walk up stairs lol) Thought I was going to have a show last weekend, but not enough there (sorry tmi). Been hoping for that to happen so I could at least think the end is in sight lol.

Sorry to hear you're in so much pain, Weezy. I was like that in my last pregnancy but this one not half as bad. A nice warm bath every evening gave me some pain relief last time (although in this heat a cold one might be good!!)

I'm feeling low myself, I'm not sure if it's the build up of anxiety of knowing I'm having a c sec or if I know what the baby blues are like. Didn't last long last time but hoping I come out of it ASAP this time too xx

Evening all. Nothing much to report here, apart from moan about the heat. Thought it would be hie to sit in garden so went out and bought parasol and base only to swelter in the heat and retreat to house.

Got haircut for last time pre-baby today, felt weird to book an appt and next time have baby in tow - have booked for 8 weeks time - longest I can leave it without looking like I'm growing a mullet!

Sorry to hear about your problems weezy - Id deffo talk to your MW about it, sounds awful.

Got fanny daggers for first time tray walking around Homebase, had to keep stopping and taking a breath. Is it just from baby's head being engaged or is he doing something with his hands down there?

Hope it cools enough for you all to get a decent-ish sleep tonight

We r all struggling in one way or another aren't we?! The heat makes it all much worse I think!

HanSam- I don't think I could manage more than a couple of shops hun and I don't really have that much pelvic pain! U r doing well to keep going! Hang on in there hun- u might go early, u never know!

Alan- pleased to hear mw visit was all straight forward today :-)

Sprk- I know what u mean- be good to have a clear sign that something was happening!

Coco- sorry u r feeling low :-/ Think the hormones raging at this stage can really make u feel extreme, try not to worry too much. Just do what u can to lift your spirits and monitor how u feel. Hopefully once baby is here and u get past that first couple of weeks u will be fine *hugs*

Kaffee- I don't really know with the fanny daggers! I get some sharp pains that feel like they r at the top of my cervix sometimes but babies head is still 'free'. Maybe its the head bobbing down? Must be quite hard yo squeeze a hand/arm round above the head when they r low down but I guess its possible!

I'm having a cool bath before bed tonight and the fan on! Its predicted 31 degrees here tomorrow now :-/

Aah my big replies are going. Seem to only be able to post if I keep it short.
Glad all went ok Alan, also that was such a lovely thing to say.
Little update from me is on Facebook
Just wanted to say thanks for all being so lovely, kind, and non judgemental. Really don't know how I'd cope without this forum sometimes!
Hugs for all xxx

On our way up to triage. Wife has chest pains, so she called and they said to come up.

Anyone had anything like that?

I'm sure it is she is feeling better already. Thank you.

Hope she's doing ok Alan. I went in about a month ago with something that sounds similar. Started feeling better when we got there, but it wasn't fun.

She's fine thanks. No idea what caused it but her and baby's heart are all good. Just keeping me on my toes :)

NO!!! Found my first stretch mark! That's it now isn't it. I thought I was going to get away with it too. :(

That's good to hear Alan!

Saxelby- how disappointing! Hopefully u won't get too many more!

Finally done 38 week bump pic xx

Hi guys,
Hope everyones okay? Weezy how are you feeling?? Alan, hope your OH is feeling okay now?
Trying to keep updated with you all on FB but keep forgetting who is who lol, except Alan of course lol.
Struggling in this heat, its awful isn't it!!

Lianne- if u look further back into the posts on fb I did a post where people said what there forum name was so we can use that for reference! Don't know if you'd seen it xx

Wife is fine now thanks Lianne. Panic over till next time :)

Evening all, hope you've had good days and have exciting plans for the weekend.

Have had a lazy day today (though mowed lawn, as tired of waiting for OH to do it and wanted to do before rain tomorrow). Off to the cinema tonight to see planet of apes, been getting restless legs of an evening so hope they don't play up.

Got this month's payslip through today - I'd forgotten our pension contribution rates have just gone up, so that means less SMP each month than I've calculated(we used to be able to opt out of pension but not anymore). I will have to reduce my planned weekly coffee, cake & baby group budget I've set myself.

Off to local agricultural show tomorrow. It's only a 20 min walk to the site, but think we're gonna drive to the park and ride as will save my legs - how lazy is that?

Kaffee - I have a 10 minute (max) walk to work. But sometime during tri two, I gave up and started driving there! Lol now that is lazy.

On a diff note - I've been getting a lot of sharp staby type pains down there, lately. They come and go like bh do (usually at the same time) . I think I've had the beginning of a poverty very small show (no blood though). Sounds normal right? Nothing to worry about?

Kaffee- not lazy, just sensible I think! Impressed u mowed the lawn! I couldn't manage that! X

Sprk- I would say that's normal! Sounds like head engaging lower type stuff to me! I would say all positive hun xx

Think I lost a bit of plug this morning and had pain down low as she keeps engaging.

All kicked off tonight. Hubby came home at half four walked in the house and back out again, neighbours had music blaring with speakers outside and drinking. So fed up of it we've been out the house for two nights just to escape it. Decided we are going to move, can't take it anymore! Such a shame as we've just spent a fortune on the house but can't stand it here any longer. Not putting any of my nice paper up going to take it with me. Found a two bed semi we love near some woods in a nice area with a drive. Ideal! So annoying for us and our landlord as we like the house just can't live here any longer!
