*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Omg next month we should all be having babies!!
Not had time to post so want to tell you all.
Last week was so busy I the salon worked everyday but Sunday and longer hours! Totally killed me. I had a big long think and decided to leave the salon and work less hours from home, soSunday was spent clearing the salon which was so sad and making space for it in the house.

I decided to take Monday and Today off to relax but have got this insane urge to clean everything. I've bleached very where, sorted wardrobes and been throwing all sorts out so I guess I'm nesting. But I am feeling way more relaxed not having the stress of the salon and feel so happier, hopefully I'll stay like this until the baby comes.

I want for a pregnancy massage today, totally recommend this ladies for the lower back and pelvis pain, will be treating myself every week until the baby comes.

A few of you have mentioned Braxton HicksI think I've been having these but not sure, my tummy tightens and get an ache in my back,I also have this stabbing in my bits sometimes when I walk and feel like I'm trying to hold him in!

The perennial massage has made Me giggle I really need to look this up and start having a go. Where did you all get yours?

I have updated my blog I AMA week behind. But check it out http://mummybears.blogspot.co.uk :-)

Aw kaffee, how inconsiderate of your colleagues, it would be only polite to at least wish you good luck with everything never mind doing a bit more for you :( hard to bring temp down so you might need to reduce layers of clothes/blankets on baby instead? Found cellular blankets really useful for this hot weather.
Re shoulder dystocia it's a scary one although a 'real' one where you need lots of manoeuvres aren't that common in my experience, the book says half of all shoulder dystocias happen with average weight babies so def not just big babies.

Mrsm I hope all goes well at scan and def feel so umcomfy in the evenings too :(

Mum2b, DH has probably got blisters on his hands with all the massaging/rubbing he has done lol but it does help a bit :)
X

Aw mummybear, I too have tried massage and found it helped a bit but not to the extent I hoped it would for the money I paid... But glad your is working, wish I had the same person to massage me too :/ yes it sounds like BH and the stabbing pains down there are awful, although in my case it doesn't always come with BH.

Also wondering how Zoe got on with her growth scan today
X

ETA hope working from home and less hrs will help you to feel less tired x

Hello ladies,
Happy hump day!
Baby was very quiet yesterday. I wasn't too worried, as I felt the odd movement, just not as active as usual. But today, its only 10am & he's more than made up for it :)
Off shopping with my Mum today. Need to get DS some MORE new trainers. I swear he goes thru soooo many pairs!!! He needs new PE trainers now! Its never ending isn't it. & he's 10 so he's at the age where he wants decent, trendy trainers, which I totally understand, I remember what school is like!! He needs 'playing out trainers' too as I call them; cheap trainers he can get wrecked & I don't mind ;) Need to look for a changing bag too!! Just hoping I can hack the walking around!! Might have to keep stopping for a sit down! Im like an old lady lol.

Saxelby - Hope your back isn't giving you too much pain!! Hats off for you for continuing to work that long!! Im not sure what kind of job you do, but I was originally due to work up tip next friday but I never would've managed it!! I had my waters burst last time, so never witnessed my waters breaking themselves, its quite a nervy thought!

MummyMidwife - fab bump pic hun!!

mum2b- Glad your appt went well! Good news you were discharged back to MW appts! Aw would love to here what you think of my blog :)

Kaffee - My thermometer says its constantly too hot too, was wondering the same? So rude that you didn't get anything from work. I haven't heard from the majority of my work colleagues since I was transferred to another setting after CMV was in my workplace. :/ Screw em lol.

OfficiallyMrsM - How big are you measuring hun? They don't usually send for growth scan unless measuring above 2 weeks ahead do they??

Mummybear - Oooh I really fancy a pregnancy massage, keep looking for places that do them! :) Will check your blog out after this hun! :)

Have a good day guys,
Lianne x

Have a good day guys,

Lianne x

I'm 2 and a half ahead from mw judging but I have a 34 wk scan booked at the hospital anyway on the 14th so it's wait and see. She thinks I could have just been a bit bloated/ full so we will see.

Come home from work this morning, kept feeling dizzy and sick. Think I'm overdoing it both at home and work at the moment so just need some me time to relax and sleep I think.

Hey keepteying, no about your sickness :( I stopped regular meds, but on Monday i had to tk ondasentron angain yesterday , felt a bit queasy At times this morning but not too bad. So it has improved loads but still getting it on/off for a bit . Hope yours go away for good, but we are so nearly At the end thank goodness xxx

Mrsm, I am feeling exhausted today too, think overdoing it with activities for the children but I have them all day and they need to be kept busy so not much I can do. But today is a stay at home day, feel drained completely. Hope you get the chance to rest x

Be careful mummy mw don't over do it. The kids will entertain themselves if needs be. Got Wimbledon on will be asleep in 10, love watching it but can never keep my eyes open x

Yep, that's why today we are staying at home and only getting up to feed them, the rest they can do themselves :) so miss the 1st time I was pregnant when I could just sleep when I felt tired :( hope you get a good sleep hun xx

Hey girls what's everyone doing with clothes sizes? Coz it's august I guess they won't be in summer stuff very long? So r u getting more newborn stuff or 0-3 months? Xx

Got lots of each size, newborn, up to 1 month and 0-3 months... I became obsessed with clothes sizes on different weight babies at work, so was looking at the tags and seeing how they fit each different size baby and I concluded that 0-3 months are just a bit too big and would rather little girl had newborn stuff. My babies were never big mind so going on these premises for this one. They do grow out of it quickly but I am ok with that got warmer stuff for the 0-3 months range though as my 1st was an August baby too so remember that working ok with him x

I've got newborn stuff to last probably a month? Then lots of 0-3! Ethan was 9lb and he still needed newborn for a good few weeks at least!

Happy and mummy bear- sorry I haven't got round to reading your blogs yet! Still planning too!
How was shopping Lianne??

Mrsm- hope u r feeling better now? I remember having episodes like that at work near the end when it was really hot! Midwife told me I should lie down each time it happened. U do sound like u need a good rest xxx

Thanks girls feel a bit overwhelmed by it all! Looking at all these clothes having no idea what I'm doing! X

Don't worry hun- u just need a few babygros and vests in each size and once baby is here u can buy anything more u need! People tend to buy clothes for u as gifts as well! Xx

I've had a sleep and feel a bit better. Been sorting the top bedroom out for the builders to come in Friday. Only got stuff for the tip and then wallpaper to strip then I'm gunna have to get some people in to crack on and get the rooms finished

Evening all.

Take it easy Mrsm, sounds like lots off jobs planned.

Clothes wize I'm buying a mix, but only a few summery sizes in newborn stuff.

Last day at work today. As suspected I only got a card, which was arranged just this week! Am really disappointed with them, just hope they redeem themselves when baby arrives. Wouldn't be so upset about it if I'd never organised collections or contributed to others, but I suppose that's the problem as I do it all nobody has to think to do it for themselves. Hardly anyone in either, so felt so low key compared to some peoples goodbyes, had to bite tongue to stop self crying as I left.

Made up for it with a bit of retail therapy in mothercare after, thankfully I'd seen online last night what was going in sale tomorrow so just bought some basics.

What to do with myself from now on, think a lie in and afternoon nap are 1st on list, got a pedicure booked for Friday.

Ps forgot to report in on operation lady bits. I've adopted a one hand / 3 finger technique, where I just try my best to stretch what I can. Not sure it's doing much good, but it's getting me used to the sensation whilst practicing breathing techniques!!

OH offered to go to sex shop and buy biggest 'toy' he could find, till I pointed out that I'm not trying to stretch the whole thing, just a specific area!

Pps sorry Alan if you're reading!!

Mrsm- glad u feel a bit better. U still sound like you're gonna b doing a fair bit though :-/ Please take it easy- especially in the heat!

I haven't been able to get comfy tonight at all :-/ Baby feels like it has no room left!! When I was at a baby and toddler group yesterday there were lots of comments about my bump being low. Anyone else get this?? I know he's not engaged yet tho!! X
