Hi girls!

Sorry, mega busy this week and with family over from the states...no time to do anything! All ok though and looking forward to my next scan Friday!

How are you all doing?

Love the names, that starts to make it q bit more real! we love; Darcy, Sophia, Sebastian, Spencer, Nelle Alfred, Arthur, Marley, Isabella...to name a few!

Hurry up tri two, I want a proper bump...not just a fatty bloaty type tummy!! Boobs are seriously sore, even when walking around...apart from that zilche!

Hiya!

This is my first post - my due date is 17th July, please could you add me to the July mummies to be - we have our 12 week scan on 5th January, but as this is our first baby and we would love to tell family at Christmas we were thinking of booking an early scan so we can tell everyone I will be 11 weeks at Christmas.

Also we are both worriers and I think having a scan would help us both (especially me!) I know a few of you have had early scans, would you recommend it?

Hi katyjane another bump buddy for the 17th yay! Welcome! We've had an early scan and would love to tell people at Christmas, but we won't because we want the results of the downs syndrome test first to know everything is OK on that front before we let people know. Have told our parents though, so they will be able to help cover the lack of drinking over the holidays!

Ok someone replaced my boobs with airbags today. VERY self conscious. OH delighted.
Also have gone from 'a bit gassy' to 'it's 5pm, get me out of work clothes before they burst'. Bloat-central.
Also think I'm coming down with a cold. So many bugs at work, it doesn't surprise me.
I'm just a bundle of joy today, aren't i?

Loretta your funny! I've gone from an A cup to busting out so I've got boobs for the first time in my life ! Do I'm not complaining. My complaint is feeling sick/hungry permanently! Even when I'm full I still feel hungry.. Strange feeling and hard to explain. Hoping I'm not like my mum and sickly all the way through

I always get colds like twice a year. Once November-time, and again Feb-time.
What am I looking at, like a mixed juice drink?
Are they nice?


My teeny lil boobs are still just that. Last time they didn't grow until like eight months though, so... We'll see.


Day off today, so naturally I've woken up stupidly early.

Hey ladies,scan tomorrow!! Can't wait!! I'm worried,but very excited! Can't wait to see our baby! I just hope everything is ok! Been feeling a bit crappy this week-last week of term though! Yay! Had work Xmas party on Monday,so as it was a school night pretty much no-one was drinking. Only the 2 ppl who I was giving lifts to as my cover!! Operation cover up was a success!! :-D

As for names being a teacher makes things difficult. We love the name Holly but OH is Berry,so would be daft! A friend of mind keeps joking and calling bump Logan!! She says despite whatever we call it she will call it Logan!!x

Eeek it's all very exciting with these scans I see the midwife today at 3pm so hopefully I'll get a scan date!
Juice plus is fruit veg and berries in capsule form it's a really good way to bridge a nutritional gap in the fruit and veg we don't eat enough of, better than vitamins because it's good it gets absorbed in to the blood stream.

My oh was out on his Xmas do last night so I was awake until 2 I'm no good at sleeping without him!
Kind of deciding against downs test as even if high risk I don't think I would want the added stress.

Hope your scan goes well tomorrow twinkletoes, hoping they will be able to hear a heartbeat today at the midwife I'm 11+4 xxx

Welcome to all the new July mummies, enjoy your appointment today firsttimemum26! I have just got home from my first midwife appointment, all seems a lot more real today Was quite embarrassing though, as I projectile vomited after my blood test I hate needles and don't think it helped that midwife let her trainee take bloods....turns out finding a vein is not her strong point! She said to expect my scan 1st or 2nd week of January xx

Urgh.

See, I go the other way re: Downs testing. If there is a substantial risk that there's something wrong, I'd much rather know now so I can research/plan/etc. that way, once baby arrives, if she does have Downs or something, then I'm already prepared, and don't have that "wow, how the HECK do we look after a Downs baby" panic right after giving birth.

Very exciting, those with appointments today
Maybe we should try and not vomit all over our midwives, though... Possibly not ideal...

Well we have booked in our early scan for Friday with Meet Your Baby in Leeds - I'm nervous and excited, just hoping everything is ok - as we saw the midwife early I've sort of been left for a few weeks and I just want to see our little one is ok!

Less than 2 weeks now until our 12 week scan. I'm really excited for it but for once I'm not that keen on time flying by as I love Christmas so much. I will be enjoying the time off work!

Yep I can see where your coming from Lacey. The people you hear have high risk often don't have downs babies, so then it's a worry for nothing. But everyone's different and we've all got that choice
I'll try not to vomit on the midwife ! Hehe xxx
