Claire, hope the dentist goes well today. I hate the dentist too, hope they can give you sufficient pain relief!

Our 12 week scan letter automatically referred to the scan as a Downs screening test. We did agree to the NT test at the booking appointment so I suppose that's why it's been titled that and not a dating scan.

Katyjane, I have been craving battered sausage and chips too! I've fancied them for ages but haven't managed to have them yet. I just fancy all the stodgey foods at the moment. I'm having to force myself to eat healthy foods!

My nausea definitely fluctuates daily but my others symptoms (mainly tender boobs, vivid dreams, hunger and bloating) are pretty much constant. Feeling sickly again today but other times I feel absolutely fine. I think it's all normal.

Lacey, that must be difficult. You must have a really strong relationship. As Lola said, you must be so excited for next year!

I'm at a sticky-point at the mo.

Last time I was pregnant, (although it felt like forever), once baby came it seemed to have gone altogether far too quickly, and I was sad it was over (as happy as I was to actually have bubba).

So, this time I'm trying so hard not to wish the days away, but... I really can't wait for Feb. I miss OH terribly, and it does suck, being so far away, but, like I said, we manage.
We FaceTime every day. Our tea-time is his lunchtime so we sit down to "eat together". He always "tucks me in" at night, and then because I'm up so early for work I usually get to message him in the mornings for half hour before he goes to sleep.

It'll all be worth it.

That's lovely that you still get that time 'together' as such. I think that's the best way to make long distance work, it's about putting in that extra effort. Bet the days will end up flying by anyway, it always seems to around Christmas and before you know it he'll be here. xx

Just got back from our scan. Everything was great. Baby is moving around loads and was somersaulting! Got some great pictures,but they have moved me back,so I'm only 11 weeks and I will be due on 9th July now,I think that's another popular date!! So relieved and can't stop smiling!!'x

Forgot to say that my last scan put me forward to the 12th July but I'm going to wait until the 12 week scan to make my EDD official

Thanks for the advice about spots - mine are round my chin and jawline - I agree with the symptoms, I have had nausea nearly every day apart from Tuesday, which did worry me, but the nausea is back!

I've been treated with anti-biotics for a UTI, been back to the doctors today as my back has been painful, but he said everything was clear.

Lacey - my hubby and I had a long distance relationship when we got together (300 miles) its tough, but its so worth it when you see them and it sounds like you have a great relationship

Even now when I get the odd twinge I do worry, I'm so nervous for our scan tomorrow I will be 10 weeks.

Aww Lacey, I really felt for you reading that. So sweet that he tucks you in at night! You're right- it will all be worth it. And you'll be able to tell your little one all about it one day!

I used iPeriod while trying to conceive. I like to check back in on it. Apparently I'm 44 days late. Perhaps I should get that checked out.

Hi guys! Glad to hear about the scan going well nice active little baby!

Lacey I've been in your position too although not quite as far but 2 hours drive. For our first Christmas we both put money together for an iPod for me so that I could FaceTime him, got the whole long-distance relationships don't work from family and friends but here we are 3 years later expecting a baby as long as the love is there and the trust it works

I got my medical exemption card through the post yesterday but my dentist is private too so I'm keeping everything crossed that I don't need anything doing!

Hi all, hope you are all doing well.
I'm not going to be around for a while, my dad died last night quite suddenly so had a stressful few days & more to come organising things.
I just feel numb, he was so so excited to become a grandad for the first time and it breaks my heart to think he'll never meet him/her & they won't know their crazy, amazing grandad!
