hope you ladies are doing alright!

Update** Been into the assessment unit today because missus has been causing me lots of pain and had slowed movement, however they put sensors on nd she started wiggling got to keep an eye and if she doesn't pick up tomorrow then back we will go... mum says its Karma because i did the same to her.

Hope everything is ok kitten; mine has scared me a couple of times not moving when she usually does but the next day has been back to normal; I think she was either just tired or trying to test me!

Has anyone else got increased pressure in cervix yet? I have dropped a bit (a few people actually mentioned this to me before I noticed it!) and when I turn over at night or if I'm relaxing on the couch to and get up, it is becoming increasingly more uncomfortable down there, verging on mildly painful! To top it off the last couple of days I have had the odd cramping on my right side down low, like bad ovulation/ muscle cramp which is actually moderately painful; I'm just wondering if something is going on! I have midwife appt on Tuesday so fx nothing will happen before then and she will just put my mind at ease!

I've still got pain in me left leg...almost dragging it when I'm walking now. I've got my final consultant appt on weds so hopefully will be able to tolerate it until then.

Supposed to be getting my garden turfed today but the weathers stopped that plan....fingers crossed it will be done on Monday x

Seems a few of us are suffering this week. Hope you're all doing ok and starting to feel a bit better
I've had a pain in my right side on and off for the last week or two. It's right in my side, but more in my back, towards my ribs, my kidneys maybe? But its soooo much more uncomfortable today than it has been before. It's a constant ache with the odd stabby/shooting pain. OH is on at me to ring the midwife but I'm being stubborn. I've just had some paracetamol and come up to bed for a lie down while he looks after Oscar. I'll give it half hour then decide what to do if it doesn't get any better. I don't know whether to ring triage or try the walk in centre first, both could end up taking hours :-/ xxx

This is whats putting me off ringing 111 about my leg-I know they'll send me to out of hours which would take ages just for them to say that there's nothing that they can do.

It definitely sounds like it could be your kidneys tho xx

It's so frustrating isn't it? I'm constantly trying to convince myself it's nothing and that I'll be wasting everyone's time if I go and be seen, silly I know.
Well a half hour lie down turned into an almost 2 hour nap feel sooo much better now. The pain is still there but nowhere near as bad as it was, I can stand up straight and lie on that side now. I'll see how I feel in a bit when the painkillers wear off tho!

Get plenty of fluids in you to flush it out....I can't put weight through either leg so walking is now a shuffle-I don't think there's anything that hospital can do so I'm not bothering going at the mo xx

I'm back home as not much more the hospital can do. Got tramadol to take which is helping me at least get some sleep even if it doesn't take the pain away completely. Been nice to have a hot water bottle on my leg since being back to ease the crampy feelings. Just got to wait for a physio appt to come through and rest. Hubby is being great and running around after the boys and me and will take time off work if needed on Monday.

All went well I am alright, completely understanding that horrible pressure but MW says its normal and I think I possibly am starting to loose my plug had quite a bit of ewcm type stuff earlier... Hoping it was me being paranoid after last night but I am so worried I'm not sure what I'm meant to be looking out for

Car seat and bags are round at mums so when the time comes she can just chuck everything in her boot as my birthing partner and transport to the hospital thought it best

Little lady has been moving like mad today so think she was having a lazy day yesterday

Ahh its only day 3 of April and a few of their babas have been born!

So exciting! WE ARE NEXT !!!!!!!

36 weeks today....the end is almost in sight.
Managed a decent sleep thanks to loads of pillows propping me up at all sorts of angles.
Lazy day today I think....boys going to their dads for a few hours so gonna make the most of the peace x

It all seems to be getting so close now!
Think I'm going to give in and go to the walk-in this morning :-/ the pain in my side hasn't gone away, still there with paracetamol. I remembered last night that I had a uti a few weeks back, I didn't get the usual symptoms of pain when weeing etc, just achey belly and the odd pain in my side. Well this pain is in the same place but much worse so thinking it's probably that again. Figured I'm best getting seen today while OH is around, rather than waiting until tomorrow when he's at work and I'll have Oscar to entertain too, hard work when you're sat in a waiting room for hours!! Xxx

Glad you managed some sleep emmam. I started off upstairs in bed but woke in agony at 2am, re did my hot bottle and took more painkillers and set up camp downstairs on the sofa and managed a decent sleep down here. Just topped up on pain killers again though so another lazy days for me too. Glad you get a few hours rest from the kiddies today.

Jenni hope your not waiting to be seen for too long, I agree it's best to go without having Oscar to entertain too. Fingers crossed they can help you out too xx

I was tempted to sleep downstairs but pleased I managed it to bed.
Seems like a lot of us are suffering at the moment-the joys of pregnancy!

I'm excited to see who's going to be our first may mummy...can't be long now surely-we can't all go to term surely xx

Poor bubba seems to have hiccups constantly I know it's normal but i can feel how cross baby is getting when they're lasting for more than 5 minutes!

Hope you all managed to get some decent sleep last night and are starting to feel better

How exciting Oscar has only just stopped using his first car seat so I need to figure out how to wash all the covers on it ready for baby!

Turns out I've got another water infection so have got anti biotics again. I haven't started them yet because all pain seemed to ease off yesterday afternoon. I'll see how I feel this morning and start them if I feel I need them. Xxx

Glad you feel a bit better
Had a terrible nights sleep! Was in pain with hips and shoulders and I think I've s lot on my mind as work have ballsed up my leave. Initially I was ment to leave the 15th but changed my mind giving 4 weeks notice to the 1st, received a letter sat saying my dates were confirmed for 15th. So today when I dint clock in at 830 I'm going to look like a no show and everyday until the 15th unless they sort it and I'll go unpaid!!!! So now I'm worried I'm going to have to go back to work!!
