I never had this level of discomfort this early with Jake. I don't get rib kicks - my babies don't see to manage to get up there! But she's constantly wriggling. All day, every day! Sleep is the worst. It feels like whenever I wake up, she does too, then doesn't stop kicking!

Jem I'd say probably 36-37 weeks is when position becomes more important. They say to just keep moving and keep active and baby will fall into the right place to to speak. Have you got a ball? They're supposed to be good at opening up your pelvis and helping get baby in position xx

Haven't got one yet, SIL has one that she's going to lend to me :-) just need to get it here so I can get myself more comfortable. I think it's better today, although I had kicks near my left hip in the early hours this morning. I have a solid baby size lump running down my entire left side this morning, so I think we're chilling over there. Who knows which way up this little monkey fancies!!

Nesting on a new level here!!

So not only did it re do Noahs bedroom from glossing, painting walls, painting nee bed, building nee draws etc..

Yeaterday I had been painting from 3pm to 9.30pm!

Ive done kitchen cupboards (1 primer coat, 2 egg shell coats)

Living room wall lilac instead of the darker purple (2coats)

Living room, bathroom and landing skirting boards white.

Re did the stairs bannister with egg shell white as i didnt like the gloss look that i did a few months bk lol (stairs and all the doors were an horrendous dark dark wood!)

Then did around all the door frames upstairs and living room.

Fuck me i dnt want to see a paintbrush for 3738282822 years..

Ive woke up today in so much pain! Thighs killing from squattig and kneeling while painting.. Arms aching from using the roller lol!

I also fell Sunday night while carrying Noah to bed, caught my arm on his bed and i have a killer bruise :(

Im off to the drs today to hopefully be signed off for 3 weeks... Ive already had 4wks off though ao im really nervous she will say no!?
Can she say no!? :(
The thought of work atm is just to overwhelming.

Milk the emotional side a bit...it sounds bad but it worked wonders for me-my doctor didn't know how to cope with a crying pregnant woman so gave me whatever I asked for-I didn't see a doctor for my last sick note, I just rang up, explained to the receptionist that I wanted longer and that maternity leave started at end of the month and they gave me another month straight away xx

Today's task is to pack my hospital bag...well to at least start it then I can make a list of what I'm missing x

They did that for me for my last one where she said just to call and i can go collect it.

But she did say if i needed longer to come bk in after that. Shes nice enough so hopefully will.
Ive just gone my makeup and i want to go browse a new sofa in dfs afterwards so could do without tear marks and panda eyes haha!

Im still opting for a homebirth if MW agrees (she actually mentioned it to me at 16wks saying i was a good candidate so fx i still am)
But have stuff to bag up for a hosp bag that i need to still do! Xx

I'm sure you'll get one, especially with maternity leave so close.

I'd love a home birth but I'm just too high risk due to previous section. I've got my birth plan appt on Thursday and there's a few things that I might have to argue about having/not having. Not got my anaesthetist appt until 29th so it's a bit pointless discussing my birth options until after then anyway and tbh I'd rather discuss it with consultant at my 36 week appt but I'm just doing as I'm told for now x

Aw hun i hope u get what u want. Hate when they put their professional hat on..
I know they r trying to weigh up the pros and cons, but i guess its down to u at the end of the day!

App in 15mins, guna go walk around now.
God why am i so nervous!!!! X

Hope you managed to get signed off again Dani. Exciting that you are still going for your home birth too. I have a home visit on 14th April to chat with a SOM.

Emmam, I'm going for a home birth after having an emergency section and then a vbac with retained placenta that I needed theatre for but still adamant a home birth is best for me and baby this time. So go for it if you really want it hun xx

Hey girls.
No more work for me till Feb 2017!
I ended up crying so much i could hardly speak! But im glad i let it all out! Ive not really told my mum how much its all effecting me. I should i know.. Im doing ok in regards to the fact i dnt miss my ex, splitting was the best choice. But its being heavily preg with a toddler and doing things, little things that u take for granted normally but all by yourself.
Im struggling to even bend to wash him in the bath. When ud normally then jjst ask ur oh to help.. But i cant.
Taking the wheely bin out on bin day.. Stuff like that u know!
PGP isnt helping.

But anyway! Signed off till 10th april and mat leave starts 11th april xx

Im seeing mw on 31st march, guna mention HB then and fx she gives the go ahead and get things into place :) xx

I'd hate a home birth - I'm so very clinical
So show me a hospital any day of tee week! Hope youvgeyvtours though :)

I had a scan today and they signed me off until the birth so no Moore consultant appointments /:)

Everything I a perfect, weight (she's 4llbs something now and should be about 7.5-8lbs born of estimates are right.

I have to go in on 29yh April for a pre op assessment because on the 4th of May this little
Miss is coming out :) exciting to have my section date.

She also
Seems to be giving her best duck lips on her scan today :)

Oh hun I bet it is so difficult, I would be lost without dh helping with bath times and getting them ready for bed and helping with breakfast etc I agree you do take it for granted to ask them to run upstairs with the potty of wee rather than doing it yourself and causing more pain. I am glad that the doctor listened and has signed you off til maternity leave, it's one less thing to worry about.

Wow jojo, can't believe you have a date to count down to now, very exciting. Love the duck pout too lol xx

My ligaments have gotten better since leaving work, here's hoping it helps a little for you

I might mention it on Thursday but already gonna have a battle because I'm refusing constant monitoring unless I'm induced or baby is showing any signs of distress, I want to remain active and basically i wanna do as I feel like and not as they tell me to do x

Birth options discussed and documented....getting close now x
