That's a lovely idea for your pregnancy announcement! Well I'll let you know how it goes on Friday- I'm pretty nervous as I think it could either reassure me entirely or do the complete opposite! It's going to be a long week.. xxx

I thought about paying for a scan next weekend when I'll be 6w 6d but I'm worried it will cause more anxiety so planning on waiting until 8w. Saying that I'm going to the midwife on Thurs so I'm hoping she might book me in for an early scan as there is some confusion over my dates and my last 2 ended in miscarriage so she might take pity on me!

Love the idea of a beach announcement,

I had a private scan at 7 and 9 (I think can't remember exactly but the first one my moved my date back 2 weeks to I went for another) with my first and for me I needed to no there was a heartbeat and things were progressing, if things were/are wrong I'd rather no as early as possible. I've had 4 early miscarriages before my son and my best friend has had a few mmc found at her 12 weeks scan so it was in my head and having seen and helped her deal with that I'd just rather know in advance. I said to hubby I'd probably only have 1 early scan but I'll prob book another one at 9/10 weeks, I'm a worrier and I don't mind spending the money to put my mind at ease for a little bit. Emma's right though it'll either calm you or worry you more, I'm a worrier by nature so it does help for a while but I worry again.

I've been looking up data though and I think if I remember right if there is a heartbeat at 6 weeks there's an 85% chance of a hb at 12 weeks and at 7 weeks it's 93% so maybe best to wait till 7/8 weeks then it's not too long till the 12 week one xx

I've been told to book a scan for 7 weeks (due to my age, previous MCs and a complicated pregnancy with my daughter), but I'm too scared to book it yet, eeek!!

I will definitely join the Facebook group in a few weeks Emma if everything goes okay x

I know what you mean about symptoms. I was stressing today as my boobs didn't feel as sore and haven't felt nauseous for a while. Now I'm sat here and boobs are back to hurting and I've just had to force myself to eat! Took my little girl to a party today at a soft play centre and she wanted me to come on with her. It has about 5 levels and I was shattered! She even insisted I went through those roller things. The big pregnancy boobs only just made it through!

If all goes well with our scan, then I'll join the December group on Facebook. I haven't had any of the brown bleeding since Tuesday, but still feeling a little nervous. Some days I just don't feel pregnant and I can't remember if it was like that when I was pregnant with my first!

It does feel nice to see a January group. We're not the newbies any more!

I had no symptoms with my first pregnancy and I can't say I have any this time round...I guess I'm burping a lot and keep waking up at 3am and then struggle to get back to sleep but who knows what that is?!x

I've had a bit of the waking up and not getting back to sleep! Just what's needed when you already feel tired! Does anyone else (tmi) sometimes feel really wet? I end up dashing to the loo, convinced I'll see a load of blood and then nothing.

Well, and this is mega tmi, when I was pregnant last time I had increased cm and had to change pant liners during the day. Well since I had my lo it's still been like that every day and it's starting to get a bit worse now I'm pregnant again. I don't mind having these things during pregnancy but do t know why it was one of my symptoms that was there to stay!x

Updated to here :), Welcome!!

Morning everyone

My OH went out last night and rolled in at 1am, he stinks of alcohol this morning :x So trying to keep away as it's making me feel really ropey. Of course he thinks I'm making it up

Off to meet my new nephew this morning, was dreading this but not so much now I have a secret rainbow on board.

I "treated" myself to some non-alcoholic cider last night... it tasted like strawberry cordial  major letdown. Read some good reviews online for a non-alcoholic saviugon blanc and a Tesco sparkling Chenin blanc, I might treat myself

Anyone got anything nice planned today?

Amy x

PS was lured by these in Asda last night (First Response Rapid Results - two for £6). It's like I have an addiction, acting all shady in the aisle making sure I don't see anyone I know :poas:

Welcome and congratulations newbies.

My OH decided to invite friends round for the boxing last night. They were so loud and ridiculously immature, I wasn't best pleased. I didn't get to sleep until 2am so I point blank refused to get up with our son at 6. Honestly I was so angry. I'm still laying in bed. I'd say he'll be fuming when I get up xx

I'd have been so annoyed Lulu! I'm hoping hubby may let me have a lie in tomorrow. I'm up at 5:30 for work Mon-Fri. Then hubby works nights at the weekend, so doesn't get in till 3-4am, so I'm always the one to get up with our daughter. A nightmare be bank holiday lie in sounds needed!!

I was having some horrible dreams last night. The kind when it takes you a moment to realise it was a dream and hasn't actually happened!

Babypickle: I was tempted by a CBD yesterday as I would quite like to see a 3+, but as I had hubby's bank card and not my own, I felt he wouldn't be too impressed. I've already had 6 positives.

Welcome to the group Strong Minded!

Congratulations and welcome strong minded! X

Amy/Joey - it's so nice to know I'm not the only crazy lady still peeing on sticks!! I've not heard of those ones? I dread to think how much I've spent on tests over the last year.. 😳 Amy I've heard Aldi also do some really nice non alcoholic wines?

Yay for lie ins! I'm also still in bed but think I might be milking it now.. time to get up!

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday xxx

Welcome strong minded. What a lovely surprise!

Sebbiesmum, could you update the rest of us please?

Karleigh, id have been raging too. Quite right to stay in your bed. My hubby watched the boxing then stayed up late but tip toed to bed. I'm such a grump if I'm woken

Belfa I had that in my pregnancy and after too. It got so bad I ended up going into hospital and getting my cervix cauterised to try and stop it. It didn't stop completely but did reduce. I'm back to having it again already but hopefully it doesn't stay bad!

What a lovely line Amy. I've done about 30 tests  my hubby banned me from anymore but I done a wee sneaky cheapie I had left over yesterday and the test line was darker and thicker than the control. Felt satisfied doing it :D I'd still like to do a CBD and get a 3+ though!!

I hate the vivid dreams joey. I had nightmares through my whole pregnancy with my son. Praying that doesn't return! Xx

SebbiesMum really sorry but could you add me please? I snuck in a while ago!

Due Christmas Eve by LMP..

Thank you xxx

I've been having horrid nightmares too. Had a dream a man was at my door with a chainsaw, we all managed to get out but I fell behind and told my OH to carry on with our son and to not look back. The chainsaw man cut the baby out of me then tried to cut my heart out, then I woke up absolutely sweating. How's that for a nightmare!!! xx

Oh lulu, I'd be fuming too, my husband doesn't drink very often and when he does he forgets he is nearly 40 and doesn't earn the sort of money he used to (he used to work in the Middle East and be away for 10 weeks at a time). I offered to pick him up at 9.30 last night as DD was with my parents but he wouldn't have it and is now moaning and regretting it! MEN!!

Fingers crossed you get your lie in JoeyClare! I have one clearblue digital which I am going to do Tuesday and if I get 3+ I am going to relax and try and enjoy/believe what is happening.

Early scan = no baby, no hb, no pole.

Just an egg sac dating about 5 weeks, she thinks it's too early but my cycles are 28days so not good. Got a rescan in 2 weeks, it's my birthday next week.

Congratulations and welcome strong minded! X

Thanks for the tip off, will try Aldi!

Random question Emma, but are you born in 1979 (looking at your name Emma241179 I thought you might be), it's a good year :)
