to start off me and other half moved up north to be a family together, got settled in at my mums and phone to check in with the local MAU to let them no ive moved up n how far long i am and stuff so on tuesday i had to pop dow so they cn do all there checks and give me new notes as she read thru unbeknown to me that it stated to be induced b4 due date but to be checked at 20 weeks scan i didnt know so she phoned the hospital in ashington to sort out with them what will happen. any ways long story cut short.
after all the checks that the MAU done i had to go to ashington thursday to be induced i was really scared at what theyd do lol as i wasnt prepared and was a rush about to get there anyways i get there and they did there checks and went thru the history in my notes explained what they were going to do. they inserted the pestry thing to help soften the cervix, which ws a bit uncomfy too, after half an hour they told me to walk around for abit as it will help which it didnt so at 6.30 on friday they did an internal to which i ws 3 cm dilated so they broke my waters i was left for a bit and asked to walk around again so we went for a wlk around the hospital was having niggles but not contractions. so at 9.30 they put me o the drip to induce contractions and ws left to it they popped into see me now and again to let me up for the loo. at 3.45 i start getting contractions which were really strong and irregular at about 4.40 i had the urge to push so told other half his reaction was wel push lol im like no you need to get the midwife nurse so he buzzed her and she sed tht she was on her way to see us as she thought they werent regular and was going to up the dose of the homone drip but told her theres no need as i need to push and needed to do it then so she sed i dont think you ready and she did another internal and she sed oh yeah your right the head is there she apologised and sed to me to do what my body is telling me too so with one and a bit push Ramona head appeared didnt need to push the rest as she was in a hurry to get out she came out herself they couldnt beleive it an hour of contractions and Ramona Jane Topley was born at 4.42 pm on friday the 22nd of april weighing 5lb 13oz shes tiny but absolutley adorable spent that night at the hospital then came back to the Local MAU then cme home today and amy is in love with her full of cuddles and kisses for her what a busy week lol moving and giving birth in one week
pics to follow its taken me 5 hours to write this what with seeing to baby and visitors. so quick labour and birth and the staff at the hospital and at MAU were excellent the care i receive was way better than what i had at airedale i had gas and air for pain releif too also i did have a bit of worry as i thought i was loosing to much bood when i stood up it was pouring out of me plus when i went to loo i was passing loads of colts so they give me some medication for that im so happy and over ther moon with both my girls and im really happy all is well with Ramona and we didnt have to go thru what we went thru with amy
