Princess81 - it was the copper one. Might ask if Mirena would give me such a reaction. Copper one felt like it was fizzing and stuff inside me and I was in agony. Not one sodding doctor would remove it in case I ended up preg so I had to cope for a whole week. It was f-ing awful. I wonder if I was allergic to the copper. Is Mirena just plastic?

Esperanza - deffo cut out the early poas! It was really nice this time waiting until I was late and testing. There was no ifs, buts or maybes - it was negative and that was that.

Jayjay - it totally surprised me feeling like that cos the month before with the risky (not quite danger) pokes I was a bit gutted AF arrived. That was what made me think yep I'm ready to at least NTNP now.

What to do? I'm nearly at the end of this 2ww, and my cycles still aren't as regular as I'd like. Having some symptoms but they could be af too. Poas?

I'd not had any babies at that point either so it was agony going in! Hope it's better next time if I go for Mirena.

I've done something stupid. I'm so so cross with myself.

I need emergency contraception, what do I do? I've never had the MAP before. Can you take it whilst breastfeeding? Is it possible to have a coil fitted after sex to prevent a pregnancy?

You can take map while BF, a coil won't prevent pregnancy. And you need to go to a chemist like boots or lloyds ASAP xxx

Oh perhaps..... I didn't think so though. I've never heard of that but maybe I'm behind with the times......
In any case they wouldn't let me have the coil whilst I was breast feeding because your womb still contracts slightly dying each feed and it can dislodge the coil. I had to wait a month after I stopped bf'ing before they would fit the coil x
