~~**THE MEET**~~ UPDATED WITH MAP

Oh dear maybe I didn't do it right, tried to PM you?

i don't know anyone from the forum, never met anyone, so i'm a bit worried coming on my own as everyone will be in their little groups.

I'll be in the same boat Hypernorm,I don't know anyone neither.....but I feel that I must go to meet all you wonderful ladies and babies!!!!

I won't be coming have just checked train times etc... and it will take me 3 hours= to get there with numerous changes of buses and trains etc... I haven't even bee on a bus with the pram yet!!! never mind all that way.

If we have another closer to me i will be there

Hope you all have fun x

LittleMinx - I don't have a pm yet either.

jo...I have space for 2 if you want a lift...IF I'm still going....I can't guarantee it yet though (although if you were needing space for 3 I'm afraid I can't help).

Thanks Xena, thats such a great offer and any othertime i would take you up on it, but my mum is working all this week, what are the chances Eh?

If i can sort summat is it ok if i Pm ya to see what your doin?

Hyponorm, don;t worry about little groups, i'm flying solo too and don't know a soul!

Xena and Bagpuss will try again xx

if anyone needs a number PM me I haven't swapped with anyone yet! and Urchin Ill PM you for yours as your the organiser :D if thats ok?

getting near now, Im looking forward to it.

Im going with ppl Iv already met and Im still worried about ppl being in groups lol. I suppose it will be like that anyway becuase there are so many of us so it cant be helped but Im sure no-one will be left out :D

I'll feel silly calling people by there forum name! until I know their real name!

Hypnorm it would be great if you can come, even if you don't talk to anyone outside the forum yet, there's lots of people in the same boat and I'm sure you'll make some new friends!

Hels Are you still bringing your SS? I'm just wondering if I'm bringing Mason or not cos I had organised my mom to have him.

Jo, what station would you be leaving from? I'll have a look and see if I can find a better route for you....it's easier if you can come into Birmingham New Street, then it's 10 mins on the bus, but if you arrive at another station we can work something out I'm sure :)

I think everyone who is arriving on the train should say now, then perhaps you could organise meeting at the station first...it's up to you though obviously!

Anyone who would like my number, feel free to pm!

i'd be leaving from Dewsbury or Leeds Train staion, i can probably
wiggle my dad to take me to station as he is on nights so thats 2 buses saved already!!!

Right so it's 2 hours 21 mins if you change at Leeds...would that be OK?
Hopefully we can hook you up with meeting someone at New Street so you can get the last bus with them?

I did look into getting a min-bus taxi from New Street but I figured people would feel safer with their babies on a bus cos of no car seats.

Right, i have found that if i get direct from Leeds there is no change, and is just under 2 hours, i have never been on a train with a buggy b4, is there a place to park it with Jack in or do i have to fold down and have him on me knee???

Looking like i could be there girls just need to see cost now, might have to bring Emily

I used to take Lydia on the train all the time to visit MIL (she lives just past wakefield)...in the days before I had a car lol.
Usually, at either end of the train, there are places for prams and wheelchairs, so you don't have to fold up the pram.
Actually, now that I think about it, I've never had to fold up a pram.
Mind you, those were Arriva trains, not the GNER ones, so it might be different if you're going on a big intercity train. But I'm sure they'll be pram spaces, because they've got to have wheelchair space.

Thats what i thought, Xena where abouts in Leeds are you? i haven't asked you b4 have i?

lol nope you haven't - I'm in Harehills - couldn't be in a worse place lol. I wanna move to a nicer area.

Right in Leeds then, i'm not commenting is as i don't know that area, my mum is from Gildersome
