Slimming world support thread.... Tips, ideas, advice and support

Yeah and I can't take baby to supermarket like this and have not much in

Hi zoe :-) I would defo recommend it, its a diet that makes sense, and i bet your group will be supportive too :-)
I've lost just over a stone in about 5 weeks and feel great :-)
When are you going to go?

See, two lovely messages already! Just had a look and the one nearest to me is Tuesday at 7pm, so I'll be joining up! I used to weigh 8 1/2 stone, that crept up a stone pre pregnancy, then when I was 40 weeks I was up to 12 1/2! oh and I'm only 5'1, managed to get down to 10st 12 on my own, but seem to be at a stand still, so hoping this will give me a kick up the arse to get back in all my lonely clothes in my wardrobe that I cant fit into anymore! X

Ah you've done really well Hun!!! I'm at 10st 12 too. My dd is 11 weeks old, I lost 1 stone in the 1st 5 weeks then lost another stone in the last 6 weeks on slimming world. It really is such s good diet. Perfect for me because there's so much choice of delicious food and a lot of it there's no limit on how much you can have!! Everyone on here are fab and so supportive. It's also a great place for tips and ideas too xxx

Oo good! It did take me a while to work out the right amount of Sweetner , different brands make a difference too!
The escalopes are 7.5 x

Thanks for escalopes! Cor the quorn stuff has gone up since I went to class. I swear the chilled quorn bacon used to be free too!

My oh is doing his wierd diet thing, he is barely eating apart from grilled lean meat, beans on jacket potato once a day and forcing down protien shakes he clearly hates while I sit there with massive mounds of mash veg and meat Haha
Love being able to have decent portions!

Good tip for anyone who is the only one eating veg in the house, or busy, frozen veg portions that steam in the micro! I have a freezer full! I mix them with my savoury rice, with my meat and veg etc. They nicely make up 1 third of my plate no having to get and prepare fresh veg frequently. The coop ones are the best, atm they are 2 for £2 so 8pouches.
I find it easy as if i buy a load of fresh veg I cant get through it before it goes bad cos I'm the only one eating it, and I can use micro with one hand unlike a peeler lol

Can someone have a look at my diary for today (red) and tell me if ok? I'm not used to red days so doubt myself!

Milk for tea HEA

Bacon (fat trimmed off cooked in fry light) sandwich (HEB 2 slices of 400g wholemeal bread). Low sugar ketchup 2tbsp (1 syn).

Cheese and quorn ham sandwich (low low 32g HEA) bread other HEB. Is the quorn ham still free?? Light salad cream 1syn I think :-/

Dinner is slow cooker beef casserole. Used a knorr rich beef thingy.

Thank yoooou

Looks good to me! As long as no potatoes in casserole?

No potatoes thanks love :) I had another bloody mousse today! I think it'd be good with a bit of Philly maybe
