Hi all, pregnant with my first 4 weeks and haven't yet seen a doc/midwife.

I have slight heartburn, very sensitive to smells and not much appetite. I had a miscarriage this point last year so I'm so so scared a d would like any tips.

Mostly what not to eat, drink?!

Hello and welcome beckie! Have you worked out you EDD? Sorry to hear about your mc.....hopefully this wee bean is a sticky one. Did you read sunflowers poat around do/donts in pregnancy? That was really helpful. Its early days and we all have a long journey ahead of us but trying to remain calm and positive cant be a bad thing x

I went to the docs today to get my pregnancy confirmed and they basically said I'd wasted my time! And just said go back next week to see the midwife. I've had really bad spells of going dizzy and I'm constantly bloated like I literally can't eat hardly anything with out getting extremely full and bloated. Has anyone got and remedies that can help with the full bloated feeling? X

I think the clear blue dates from conception where your app will date from first day of your last period x

Hi, I know I shouldn't do more tests (and especially not at night) but I did another one tonight and it finally seems to be getting a bit darker. I have been terrified for days now that it's was going to be another chemical.
I know I'm not out of the woods yet but will not test until Sat at least now. Due at docs for bloods on Monday cuz I panicked and asked for them to be done.
Still feel like af could come as I feel odd 'down there's before af&I feel like that for last two days but definitely today. Hoping its not a cruel trick. I'm bloated like a balloon most of the time, boobs feel&look bigger&the odd twinge in abdomen&back.
First sign that made me test on Sunday was the dagger pains tho test on sun was too faint to b sure.

Yeah I'm going on Thursday...I had to tell a little fib and pretend wasn't sure how far I was so that they'd see me..it's wrong I know but I need to see someone! My docs said they won't see someone until at least 8weeks and the midwives have a strict 11week rule! I'm deffo feeling signs the bottom. Of my stomach feels like it's pulling and I'm getting the odd stabbing pain! My boobs feel like they're on fire too!

Mase the strict midwife rule must just be for ur region as ive got my first midwife appoint 17th jan
Making me only 6 weeks and 6 days.

Haha! Ive done 5 tests so far and have one digi left for next week in hope it says 3+ i grt bloated in evenings but nothing during day. Not having any symptoms yet....sure thst will change next week! Anyone else going for an early scan? X

I'm getting twinges too! Is this your first aswell? Easier said than done but don't worry (says me!)
