Congratulations on the 30 weeks, these all seem to be flying by! Eep, I would be so nervous not having more than that for the baby yet, but then I'm a natural worrier. Might as well be easier just to get all the shopping done in one day! x

Shame about the GTT and anti-D, will they be able to book you back in for the latter fairly fast?

The waddling is awful though, I just feel like a giant elephant trying to move about without any gracefulness whatsoever. We're pretty much ready, everything's bought, set up and packed and feels like I'm just waiting now!

Lovely that baby's engaged, at least facing the right way, but sucky about everything that comes with it! Are you managing to get some rest to help you out?

I'm definitely feeling the same though. Secretly hoping baby will come any day Sunday onwards (full term eek!), and last day in work tomorrow as I have a fair bit of annual leave left. Really looking forward to not having to deal with that anymore!

I just pee constantly so sleep broken but gonna be like that when baby here anyway so might as well get used to it now lol. I'm just exhausted... Are you the same? What's your symptoms been? Xxx

36+5 now so definitely in countdown mode! Sleeping is impossible, if it's not the peeing, it's the aching hips, insomnia, heat or just generally being uncomfortable that gets in the way of it. Our bodies definitely know how to prepare us for the upcoming lack of sleep!

How are you doing with all your baby purchases? Have you got much left to get?

Hey! I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and god am I ready for her to come haha!!
She has been head down and engaged for some time now and it’s not very comfortable!

Fortunately my sore hips have been much better recently so I’m sleeping way better which is great! Although last night I pee’d 7 times hahaha!

I'm all ready, purchase wise and washing wise lol. My first son came at 37 weeks so I like to be prepared earlier the better. I had a c section with him so looking forward/bricking it to feel contractions and actual labour this time. I am so scared! What's your plans? Although baby just comes how they want don't they lol xxx

Hiya ladies, sorry i haven't posted in a while.
Looks like my little one is going to be an august baby after all! I've recently been diagnosed with OC so the hospital have put me on antibiotics, Vitamin K and antihistamines along with the iron tablets that I've already had to take from 28 weeks. They're going to be doing weekly blood tests, scan and consultant next week and they're not letting me go past 38 weeks so should have an induction date by next week. Hope you're all well! X

I had my final growth scan today at 36+3 and she weighs 5lbs3 which apparently is just on the light side?

My plan is to not plan haha! I hate planning and not being able to stick to it so I’m just going to go with the flow! X

I'm good, impatient though! Second week of not working and it's making the days drag. Every day I wake up and wonder if today is the day, and every day I'm disappointed haha.

I would just buy some multi-pack bits from Asda, so at least you have the bits you need without needing to worry too much about it. How are you finding the birthing ball? I haven't bothered with one at all, and imagine it might be a bit of a waste at this point.

Yeah ladies just checking in on every one don't mind me I personally wouldn't go on what they say the growth scan says I had mine and they said she was 6lb 12 I had her a week later and she was bang on 9lb not long left for you all to go good luck xx

I'm generally a crying type of girl, but keept welling up with how she's treating me pigeon holing me because of my weight, ironically my consultants have been great, it's just her! Bleugh.
Are you all "ready" or still have a lot left to get? Tbh though babies don't need all that much! Thankfully haha. You'll be happy to hear I bought I couple packs of Muslins the other day, woot.
Anyone else planning a home/water birth? I'm nesting like mad! xx

Oh no why is your midwife like that? I don't feel we have that personal touch with midwives it's basically see them as and when and like they have too much on their minds anyway!
I'm sooooo ready for baby to come now, been for growth scans and he's 6lb already so I'm happy for him to come whenever lol. Just fed up of being pregnant now.
How far gone are you? If its not heartburn it's back ache or head aches or just feeling bleuurrgggghhh.

I'm sorry to hear you're having such a tough time with the MW, sometimes they honestly don't help at all and just make you feel like crap. Up until last week I hadn't even seen my normal midwife for 2 months, was someone else at every appointment and just seemed so pointless because they obviously can't know your circumstances. On the other hand, my friend is a MW and she's so lovely and caring, makes me jealous she's not my MW!

At least your consultants are great, hopefully you won't need to see the MW too much now.

I have been ready for weeks, even got the sheets and everything ready in the cot this week. Had a sweep this morning and booked for induction on Tuesday, if that fails, so whatever happens I will have a baby by this time next week. Eek!

Are you considering a home or water birth? I haven't personally decided to go down that route, but would definitely consider that if we were having another one.

It is for a medical reason, but only as a precaution. Still keeping everything crossed I go into labour before then though!

I have seen plenty of people go into labour before 40 weeks this summer, so hopefully you won't have too long to wait. x

Ah good luck my dear! Wow that must be nice though knowing you'll be holding your baby soon.

I keep googling but cannot find anything about waves of light headed Ness, butterflies and headaches. Just feel really zoned out and poorly but wondered what it is. My braxton hicks have always been strong and heartburn but when I have these waves up to six times a day I have no pains just sensations.
