That really does seem too late. I hope you can get an earlier date sorted. Would you consider booking a private scan just for your own peace of mind if they can’t see you any earlier?
I’ve just had my scan date for May 8th. I really hope the next 4 weeks fly by

I think I will have to, although I have yet to check how much a private anomaly scan is. Can't imagine they will be cheap!

Hi everyone. I haven't posted in a while, mainly because my stress levels are so high. I had a CVS three weeks ago and since then I've had one minor bleed after which I was put on progesterone and bed rest. Then I had a scan which showed everything was fine. Doc said I could be intimate so I was and then I had another minor bleed, after which I was put on bed rest again. Then another scan, all was okay, and today I'm spotting, for no apparent reason. My pregnancy with my now eight year old was so straight forwards and this time around its just constant stress. I have a bad feeling that I'm going to lose this baby and it's almost too much to deal with. I feel like it's all my fault.

Sorry for the self pity. It's just that no one really gets it and everyone just says stuff like it'll be ok, and I want to scream how do you know? Gah. I hope everyone else is ok.

I think that it is late too. Hope you manage to rearrange it for an earlier date... ohh I think this is as hard as waiting for your first scan.. you start to worry everything’s ok.. not sure if Iv felt in proper movements yet.. more like pressure in some places. Sometimes my tummy can be hard then other days soft. Is anyone else like this ?

Thank you! I really appreciate the sympathy. I've been trying to relax, mostly managing because there hasnt been any more blood and the scan last week showed a healthy kicking girl. And its really hard to believe that all of a sudden something could have just randomly gone wrong!

How’s everyone feeling? Last night in bed, both I and my partner felt baby kicking!! It was amazing! I’ve felt it inside occasionally and the odd movement but that was it, but last night she was having a party and it was amazing!

Then this morning I woke with a rotten headache and I’ve just been sick! WTH! Ive not been sick for weeks now and really want it to stay away as well lol!

Congrats the scan Covey and finding out that baby is a girl

I've felt movements for the past few weeks, but I'm super sensitive and felt all the babies quite early.

I had my consultant appointment and she was f*ing wonderful, bad my back 100% read through all my notes, judged me on me. Doesn't want me on aspirin or anything else, couple extra scans but nothing OTT - Feel like I've got my power back y'know?

I've had some carpal tunnel symptoms the last couple days, but haven't yet today. Woop for second tri issues, haha.

Booked in for the Fetal Cardiac scan, still waiting on the 20 weeks scan letter to be sent. Elven, as far as I'm aware apparently it's the busiest time they've had nationally in a while this year, which might explain the slow/later scans that everyone seems to be getting!

Well, although I was convinced otherwise, the sonographer at my second anomaly scan thinks it's a girl! So I guess I'm joining team pink then. x Apart from that, baby is luckily all fine and healthy.

Congratulations! Little girls are so precious.
I feel like I’m carrying a boy just because this pregnancy feels different to my previous with my daughter but I think because of how much I want it to be a boy, it will end up being a girl I’ll be fine either way but I’m desperate to find out. I’ve been doing all the old wives tales and it’s mainy predicting a boy so far. All just for fun though

I'll probably have a girl, but this pregnancy is so freaking different to my other two, just maybe... I'm not too bothered either way really.

Just had my anomaly scan - all was fine and baby looks good! Phew! She also thinks it’s a girl but she wouldn’t move fully so said to check at my next scan at 28 weeks! But that’s two that say girl now and neither have seen any boy bits so I’m pretty sure it’s a girl!
Oh and the placenta is at the front too which would explain the lack of movement I’ve felt!

Has anyone bought anything yet? I'm back on the old babywearing groups on FB prowling for slings again - What about clothes? We gave literally ALL our baby clothes away so have to start from scratch again, so I don't want to spend a fortune, but very likely to be our last one. I wonder if my list is still on the old laptop of thing we "need" haha!

I'm sure they said I have an anterior placenta too, but they were talking among each other so didn't want to interrupt and then forgot. I swear pregnancy brain is a real thing. Would explain the intermittent movements though. As long as all is well and they're healthy, we can't complain really! x

I have bought a few body suits and socks, that's it, been too busy for more lately. The husband thinks it's far too early, but those 4 months will pass really quickly and I don't want to stress towards the end about all the bits I need to buy. Also, makes me feel better when I spend a few pounds here and there, as opposed to lots over a week or two!

I haven't even got a list yet, feels like one of those things I need to get started on but not there yet. Might be coming to you for your list! x

Hi everyone!

Hope everyone is well! The spotting has stopped for me so for now that's a huge relief. I imagine it could start again but I don't want to jinx it.
I got on the forum quite late so it feels like I don't really know any one and no one really knows me but I'm hoping to remedy that!

Since the topic turned to buying bits for baby, I'm afraid I have to face the fact that I've bought nothing at all this time around (mainly because I've been so worried about losing the pregnancy) and I can't even remember what the absolute necessities are! I want to cosleep so do I even need a Moses basket? I'm so out of touch..

Also, I'm expecting a girl, which I'm very excited about (would have been either way haha)!
