Congratulations on your healthy little boy. xHows everyones bank holiday been? Weve had lovely weather thankfully so managed to get so much done. Went through my DDs clothes and separated them into things that I wanted to keep, things to sell and things that could be used if the baby is a boy.
We had our scan today, the sonographer was training and she took about 45 minutes to do the scan because she didnt really know what she was doing. Another sonographer took over towards the end and just powered through it. I was so uncomfortable at this point and needed too wee so badly. I started to panic because she was taking so long and she was quiet so I thought something was wrong but baby is growing perfectly
She asked us if we wanted to know the gender and I hesitated for a moment as I know my partner didnt really want to find out but I said yes. Im not afraid to admit that I thought I was going to be disappointed if we had another girl but I had convinced myself that the baby was a girl so that it wouldnt feel like such a blow if she said it was a girl. I am happy to say that I am having a boy though. My partner is overjoyed but were leaving it as a surprise for family and friends until the birth. No denying that baby is a boy though
I'm having a bit of a miserable week, as my feet and legs are completely swollen. Possibly a combination of flying, the heat and lots of walking, but that on top of a sunburn and I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself! Apart from that, baby seems happy and kicking about all times of night.
