We both definitely want to find out, far too impatient to wait! Although it does seem to like a lovely surprise to keep. x

I don't think we're bothering with either of those. There is a huge selection of stuff out there though, feels so confusing.

I had the Chicco Next 2 Me crib with my daughter 3 years ago. I found it so much easier with being able to just turn over and see her in the night and being able to just pick her up with ease rather than leaning over the side to get to her. It’s easy to move about/put together and we even took it to a hotel once instead of using the hotel’s own grubby travel cot. We Also had a Moses basket passed down from my sister but she wasn’t a fan of sleeping in it and she grew out of it quickly. I’m glad I didn’t invest in one myself but I’m excited to get the Chicco crib out again

We’ve just used a Moses basket before but neither have ever really settled in them for long. A friend has offered to lend us her next to me crib, and I’m so excited!! Just hoping it attaches properly onto the new bed we’ve got coming next week.... xxx

Lalaroo that does sound good being able to see them ect in the night instead of getting up and down. Last time I had a Moses basket for downstairs but not sure what to do with when he she is tired during the day.. so much to think about.. my daughter will be 8 when baby comes. There is so much now

They have given me a new date for my anomaly scan, only it's in May! I will be 23+5 at this point. Not that I can even do that date, as I'm on holiday then, but is it just me who thinks that's ridiculously late?

That does seem really late. On a letter I received (I think screening results) it said that anomaly scan should be done by 20+6 days. I would phone and tell them date you will be 20+6 and day you heard should be done by then. I think mine said should be between 19 weeks and 20+6 and if don’t have a date by 19 weeks to phone them.

I always thought it needed to be done by the time you reached 21 weeks, which only leaves us with next week. The sonographer knew this and made a big point of it being done next week, but I guess that message didn't reach the booking team. Will need to speak to them on Monday or just go private if they can't fit me in any earlier.

I can't help but be a bit morbid and wonder what happens if there's a serious issue, and they won't know anything until 24+ weeks.

That was my thought too, but I didn’t want to say. I’m sure everything will be fine. It’s probably just an admin error and they’ll hopefully sort it as soon as you call Monday xxx

I occasionally feel like pressure moving and when I touch where it’s moving it’s very hard, and I thought I felt a couple of little kicks but it’s so infrequent I think I make it up!! I’m desperate to start feeling her move! This is my first and I know it can take a bit longer!

I have, but it definitely comes and goes. It's by no means a strong thing either, at least what I imagine kicks to be like later on!

That really does seem too late. I hope you can get an earlier date sorted. Would you consider booking a private scan just for your own peace of mind if they can’t see you any earlier?
I’ve just had my scan date for May 8th. I really hope the next 4 weeks fly by

I think that I can feel movements now and again, they feel a bit gas bubbles in my belly. I was just over 20 weeks when I had a first proper kick from my DD, we had just got back from our scan where we found out we were having a girl and I said her name to my bump and she kicked out really hard
I get so impatient not being able to feel the baby and it takes a lot to make me not go and buy a Doppler just for some peace of mind
