I'm 26 weeks now and have whooping cough booked in for two weeks time and also second lot of blood tests. Bump measured 27 weeks and she said he is growing well. It's all very exciting.

Will probably discuss my whooping cough vaccine at Consultant 28 week apt on 24th June - As well as having to get them to change my address as we'll be moving over that following weekend!!

Baby has been tucked down in my pelvis for two days, it's been horrible, but had a proper bath tonight rather than a shower and think I've 'floated' him back up a bit! His kicks are a bit higher up again and I feel less pressure and need to pee/poop

I have been very busy lately we got house reinsulated and new windows next have to strip and decorate 3 rooms, but all is well I have my 25 week MW app next week and whooping cough, baby likes laying snuggled in my pelvis and kicking me down below lol placenta is blocking the majority of the kicks which is good cause when kicking me in the nether regions it's not to nice, so I be lucky to feel him a few times a day some days a lot more, but most days just a few movements. Any time I walk lately ankles and feet balloon up. The weeks seem to be flying in!!!

Got the nursery bedding and curtains today, went for a safari theme. Didn't want anything too babyish and wanted to get something that'll grow with him for a few years until he can chose his own theme. Just need to paint and get a new carpet then it'll be ready to get the cot. Don't need furniture as it was knitted out with new white furniture a couple of years ago.
Has anyone else decided on a 'theme'?

We are having a gruffalo theme as it should last a few years until we know what they like x

We are having a storybook theme - neutral painted room (cream or light brown) with accessories from different stories - peter pan, alice in wonderland, wizard of oz, Roald dahl etc. Seen some nice bits online so far including a wall clock with the shadows of Peter pan Wendy etc flying on it (like the big Ben face), a little door to stick on the wall like the one in alice in wonderland and stuff like that. Haven't bought anything yet. We are going to start to clear the room next month as it's currently a study and will paint it then gradually get the accessories over time. No rush as baby will be in with us for the first 4-6 months xxx

We are doing a nautical theme. Its already freshly did a sky blue so we will add a feature wallpaper, some reds, blues and sea life animals.

Thats the plan but I am known to flip flop.

27 weeks today ...... only 10 weeks until I'm fully cooked!

All your themes sound gorgeous!! We've gone for a woodland theme. Got curtains and lampshade. Furniture is built. Just need bedding

Sun only came out here today in London, we've had overcast skies all week, it lashed it down with rain on Tuesday!

I've been taking calls at work all week asking for the heating to be turned up and it's June!

Crazy how different the weather can be within the UK. It has been baking here all week but especially today. Don't like complaining about it because it's so lovely having nicer weather but it's a bit harder coping with it when pregnant! Just ordered a fan though to keep myself cool xxx

Lovely to read all the nursery ideas, we painted ours today, part of the crazy house renovations! All ready for furniture in a few weeks when we finally get round to sorting everything else out and then popping to IKEA!

Starting pregnancy yoga tomorrow, excited! Started to wind down my running now, managed the Liverpool Rock and Roll 5K last week but it was hard work, and bloody boiling!!

How's everyone doing? Can't believe tomorrow is V day! ..and finally starting to get a little bump which doesn't just look like I've had too much dinner!

How quickly are the weeks flying by now! X

Keeping it plain here for the nursery thinking of a jungle theme or cheeky monkey's I seen some very cute wall stickers which I might use. I have a midwife app tomorrow 1st app with her since 9 weeks and I also have the whooping cough jag...

Hello Ladies, been feeling rough last week or so, restless legs are still keeping me awake at night im averaging 4-5 hours sleep! At work today but have GP at 10.45 as cant get hold of any midwives to have my BP checked, ive been extremely breathless, tingly arms and legs and feeling faint

Were having baby in with us probably until she's 6-7 months old and then we have to sell up and buy a bigger house, were using the next year to save, this pregnancy was a lovely unexpected surprise and with 3 boys already were outgrowing the house! When I finally get around to decorating a nursery it will be as girly as possible!! xxxx
