*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Gilly I read today that at 31 weeks in a single pregnancy baby should be about 3lb so would say both being that size at 32 weeks is bloody brilliant for a twin pregnancy x

Twins weight 3.6lbs and 3.75lbs, just did a Google (I know I shouldn't!) and they seem small compared to other twins. Registrar never mentioned them being small, and they are still within the percentiles on the graph but there's mum's saying their babies are 4/5lbs!!

Have a look at this chart Gilly:

http://www.babycenter.com/average-fetal-length-weight-chart

My boy was 4lbs 1 at 31+1 week scan - doc said within 'normal range' but on the chunky side.
Not sure how accurate it is but your twinnies are bang on for 32wks - and that's supposed to be for singletons!

Just had a look at the link, sending it to OH now haha! Sounds so strange but I really don't like touching myself down there, God I'm having a reveal all moment here but it freaks me out so would have to be OH doing it. Will have a think haha! Never ever heard of that before tho!

Gilly I think your babies seem perfect and if they weren't in sure someone would have said something at your app - Google is a nightmare for making us anxious x x x

Wow, busy on here today! I love it!

Mary - yay to brown fat! This makes me happy! I plan to be going back to weight watchers as soon as I can and walk the little man down there for exercise. It's also at the local gym so could tie it in with swimming for us both too.

Bunny, congrats and good luck with the move!

Summer, my cousin recommended moisturising with aqueous cream down there to help beforehand, she didn't do the whole massage thing though.

Gilly, glad the girls are ok in there.

I went to a sling meet today with a friend, lots of babies and toddlers, made it seem a bit more real!

Also booked onto a pregnancy yoga class to keep me busy. I have my 31w midwife appointment tomorrow and hospital tour on Sunday, as well as parent classes starting next week! Feels like it's all coming together now x

Thanks for the link and support girls, makes me feel far less worried!

I joked about my OH and the massage, he declined haha! He did do the primrose oil capsules and that was enough to have us in fits of laughter! Xx

Ohhh I cudnt do the massage last time it just wasn't for me n I dud tear but not to bad n tbh I think it was from how fast my Labour was. I had no contractions with Harry n went from 6-10 cm in seconds n pushed him out in about 40 mins. Whole Labour was about 3 hours I think they Saud but I didn't feel anything till it was pushing time.

Chardrop I have gestational diabetes n it is a bit of a nightmare, haven't put on any Brown fat coz I can't bloody eat anything nice. I'm even dreaming about cake lol. The glucose test is horrid but it's worth it because even tho I moan it's good to b looked after. Even if it does mean an induction.

I think the twins r measuring fine hun. Esp fir twins n if they weren't worried I'm sure all is good.

I will be doing everything I can to slim down! I did the 39 day shred last time so may try again and my calorie intake will be small as I can get it! Although anyone know how many calories I need to breast feed?
I have gotten so fat these last 2 years it's unbelievable lol!

After my first baby I actually kept forgetting to eat for about 7 days afterwards. My OH and I would realise it was 5pm ish and remember we hadn't had anything to eat all day! Doh.
Yeh I had the glucose test, not nice but over with very quickly x

That was a very quick birth tessa! I'm envious. Mine was about 5 hours from 3cm to birth :(
I didn't do massage last time, but didn't tear either. This time I am so scared I will! :(

It sure is busy, I started replying then realised I was 3 pages behind since this morning lol x

Yay love a busy post ! Think we're all getting more and more excited the closer it gets!

I think you have to have a fair few amount of calories, I wouldn't diet as such just find something that you can do which ensures your getting all the nutrients and colories you need - they are the sort of programs I do.

I'm terrified of tearing but to be honest have put it right at the back of my mind, I'm one of them people where I'm really good when the pain is happening - I have like an out of body experience but thinking about pain, tears, stitches, blood scares me haha! xxxx

Haha Im the same - I remember everyone telling me how uncomfortable/painful a smear test was, I got all panicky about it then closed my eyes/relaxed and barely felt a thing!! Same when I was diagnosed with PCOS had to have the camera thing inserted 'up there' I just closed my eyes and put my headphones in and the nurse had to tap me to say she was done. Obviously I'm not suggesting labour is going to be painless but hoping the gas and air will further assist in the 'out of body experience'
Also considering a hypno-birthing cd ...

I was thinking more of the recovery after, my friend had her baby 2 weeks ago, it was a bit of a traumatic labour and she tore REALLY badly - it was a vaginal delivery but she's still extremely uncomfortable from the stitches and can't drive or anything

Xxx

I start hypno-birthing classes first week of August can't wait, 3 2hour sessions with the OH!

I can't believe my OH's sister is having another girl, this is her 3rd. One born 17th September she's 6, another 3rd September she will be one this year and then she's due again Christmas Day, plus me being due 5th September! They are going to be inseparable aha! Can't wait x x x

That's lovely that they'll all be close together Bunny!

Kelly, I'm sure I read that 1500 was the minimum you could have whilst breastfeeding. I've got a nutribullet so I will be back to one of those for breakfast and dinner and then healthy tea. I have the smoothie/juices now but have to have something else for dinner as I'm ravenous! x

Aw that's lovely bunny - the poor men in your family will be completely outnumbered!! Haha
Wish I had looked into hypnobirthing sooner - struggling to find a course near me which still has places available. Think I may just have to try the DIY book/CD

Xxx

1500 it is then :)
It was 1200 when not breastfeeding and managed to lose weight well doing that and still the odd naughty treat x

We could have a low calorie (I will probably do low carb too, vegetable carbs OK but not rice, pasta etc) meal ideas thread after the babies are born. :)

Yeh or maybe on our fb group have a file in there?
Can't wait to start losing weight already. Because it means it will be getting closer to trying wedding dresses on! Yay x

I was going to say something similar to Gilly - a sort of motivational thread for weight loss/fitness after babies are born would be great, we can all spur each other on :) x

I am part of one from the last group who had their babies at the same time but it all went quiet!
I'm looking forward to it. Looking forward to baby more of course. Had shooting pains in my belly and down there while at work :( x

Oh no not the dreaded fanny daggers :/ Hate those things! x

Thought I would share a pic of my huge 31 week bump - it is seriously epic lol and now I have definite stretch marks too! This is what happens when you measure 3 weeks ahead lol....
