*~*~* September 2015 Mummies *~*~*

Good luck with all the upcoming appointments ladies :)

Michelle - Glad all went well at scan and they are not too concerned hun, great news :)

Gilly - Hope the pains settle down for you soon, my little boy been doing bloody somersaults all day making me feel pukey and they are very uncomfortable so can only imagine how full on that feeling is with two of them!

Bunny - 10 shifts will fly by hun so hopefully you won't have to encounter him again but glad the police are going to ask head office for the cctv anyway, nice to know they are taking it seriously :)

Kelly - our two will be sharing once baby reaches 6 months old - daughter will be roughly 2 years 3 months by then and I have some concerns myself but we only have a 2 bed and there is no way we can afford to move again anytime soon as we only got this house just before I found out I was pregnant. I think as long as they both sleep relatively well then it shouldn't be too bad but only time will tell I guess!

Bunny that sounds terrifying! I hope your ok :( not long left... fingers crossed you dont see him again!
I requested to join the september mummies page... i think its the right one lol! Im on it more than i am this now. For some reason this page keeps crashing on me so i can only get on it on a rare occasion lol. I cant keep up!!
Hope everyone is keeping well - not long to go now!
Im starting to get sooo nervous. Iv started packing my bag. Think im sorted apart from last minute things... charger, make up, straightners etc. Iv a little memo on my phone made incase i need OH to do it and also so i dont forget anything! Lol. Havent even started to pack babys stuff!

Will everyone be washing all of babys clothes before putting them on them? I did it with my first but a lot of people tell me its pointless :/ xx

I washed everything apart from his knitted jacket as it is lovely and soft and I know once I wash it it will go bloomin stiff so I refuse to wash it yet lol. Having said that though, when I had my daughter I washed clothes for her but then as we had to stay in hospital for 4 and half days I ran out of clothes and ended up dressing her in ones mum bought to hospital after buying that morning so of course they weren't washed. Defeated point of ever washing any lol. Happy to report it didn't irritate her skin or anything though so if you don't wash them I don't think it will matter too much x

At least the police took you seriously bunny and it'll be on record now. I've already started my hospital bag, just need some bits from primark or asda. My husband isn't ideal in a crisis lol so i want it done so he can just grab it.

I'm starting to get nausea again, think it's more from baby squashing my stomach I've got either no appetite or I'm starving and can't eat much. Roll on September I've got about 20 shifts at work left now yay x

Oh no to the nausea! :(
I also find myself either really hungry or the opposite!

I have 11 shifts left! Was 10 but now I am doing a few hours of overtime on Friday aswell lol Doh! X

Wasn't a scan h just the mw measuring me but yea I'm so relieved they seem to think bubs is ok.

Got 5 more days of work finish next Thursday n I can't wait to finish now.

Will finish packing my bag when I'm on mat leave n will wash all the clothes from out the loft but not the knitted stuff we have got given.

Michelle.x

Baths are amazing aren't they?? Hubby is away, I was on Belle's pre school trip with her today (and took the tots I look after) and was just laying downstairs feeling sooooo achy. Walking hurts to put weight on each foot and I had to cook dinner as was starving but it hurt a lot!! Was beginning to panic about how I will cope with work tomorrow, came for a bath and I am lying here surrounded by bubbles without a care in the world. It's ok to just stay in the bath for the next 8 weeks right??

I have 4 more weeks to work, after this one. Next week is manic as I have a few extras joining us for the week, but after that I am on official wind down ~ let the free play commence! Xx

We're having wardrobes fitted on Monday in what's going to be Amelia's new room. Once they're done, I can move Amelia's clothes out of the nursery even though she's staying in there for a while, then hubby needs to get all newborn clothes out of the loft so they can be washed and ironed ready for September. I washed everything last time. Really need to crack on with my hospital bag too. 3 days left to work!! :-)

Thanks everyone !

I think I have pretty much everything for my bag but moving house tomorrow so haven't actually packed it yet as packed everything up!

My bags are packed and ready, just need to throw in charger, make up and iPad when it's time. I feel like I'm ready and waiting now although I don't finish work until 2 weeks before my due date x

I haven't got any cardigans!! Totally didn't think with it being summer! Just vests, sleepsuits, hats, swaddle and blankets!! Can't believe I've overlooked this totally. What kind of cardis do you all have??

I'm still lay on the sofa, they've been active for hours now!! X

Oh just got an email ladies, New Look have a sale on and there's quite a bit of maternity gear included x

We don't have any cardis.
We realised earlier that we actually also don't have an outfit to bring her home in either! Oops. But.... that means over the next few weeks I get to buy one newborn outfit :-D yay
Think I'll head to H &M at the weekend x

I've got some 'nicer' sleepsuits for coming home. I'm not sure they will be big enough for proper outfits, I have two newborn ones from M&P but I but the dress on my son as it looked huge and tbh it basically fit like a t-shirt!

I think a sleep suit will be all we get but we brought my son as nice disney one for coming home (not that it really matters?)

I can't wait to see your twins and how small they will be, if they are at all! Xxx

I should get an estimate weight tomorrow, really hoping they've grown well. The thought of NIC and a long hospital stay terrifies me!
I've got some up to 5lb sleepsuits from Next that are really cute and then just some plain white tiny baby ones. It's hard to find decent little baby stuff, the nicer stuff tends to be bigger.

I can't wait to see if they're alike at all!! Both me and hubby are naturally dark haired (I'm a fake blonde) but our little boy is really blonde. Hubby was blonde as a kid but I was dark haired, can't wait to see if the girls are dark or fair, one of each would be handy!! Xx

I'm sure they are growing perfectly well and will arrive very healthy and happy. I used to always want a 5 lb baby ad I was 5 lb when born. But was amazed how small my 7 lb 5 baby was!
Wonder how well they will bond as young babies. Xx

I was speaking to a twin mum and she said they don't really notice each other for a while, they play a long side one another. Really surprised me. She also said they'll probably interact with Otto more than each other for a while. Was watching OBEM yesterday evening and when the baby came on Otto started pointing and shouting "look", can't wait to see what he makes of it all!
He doesn't have a clue obviously, I talk to him about it and he kisses my tummy but he's too young to understand. Does your little boy have any idea?

Otto was 6lb 10 and was all skinny arms and legs, I can't imagine what 5lb looks like!

I'm up mega early, nerves or excitement. I could potentially know the twins birthday today! Xx

Good luck today Gilly, can't wait to hear what they think their weights are now, exciting! I have my scan on Monday and I am fully expecting them to say I have a monster 8lber already hahaha x

Good luck today Gilly!!

I find out if my niece or nephew is a boy or girl today! So excited , due Christmas Day x x x
