Ok girls have created 'September mummies 2015' group. IF you search and can't find it feel free to add me 'tessa Biggart' and then I will add you to the group.
I did it as a closed group, rather than secret, hope that works for everyone? Let me know if it would be better secret. It says only members can see posts, but others can search it and see members. Xx
My parents have agreed to have our daughter for the day on Saturday so we can try and get the kids room finished. Although baby won't be in there until 6 months old we still need to jiggle things around and decorate so it is ready for the two of them to start sharing. OH seems to think we should just move our little girl to a toddler bed now and give baby her cot but I sort of feel like we would be rushing her as I honestly don't think she would stay in bed. For those with children already what age did you move/will you be moving your littles ones to a bed? x
Looking forward for the group for when we've all had our baby's!
Just had a bath and snuggled in bed, pains have gone. Only 11 shifts left now
Oh my god had such a scare after work. Don't know if I told you but there's this man that always comes in to my work and buys he same £40 pay as you go phone, didn't think much of it until it was every other day and he wouldn't get served by anyone but me. Started noticing him walking past our work about 10 times a day looking in as if looking for someone. Even the lads got on too it so it wasn't just me being suspicious, worst of it is is I remember him coming in my OLD store in Liverpool early last year! Anyway it got to the point where I was getting really freaked out, he came in and one of the lads asked if he needed any help and he just ignored him and stared at me, so Matt said 'mate I asked if you need any help' and he just continued staring at me ignoring Matt. So my manager said listen we can't sell you that phone anymore and Danielle is busy so she can't help you. And he just walked out. Since then he hasn't been in much but keeps walking past. Today I came out the back to my car and he was standing right next too it. I shit myself but didn't have the keys to go back in to store, luckily one of the security guards was standing by the main entrance locking it. I got in my car and called my assistant manager who rushed out and just stared at the fella, he didn't move until I put my reverse lights on. Freaked out so much I started crying on the way home. Our car park is hidden, not on a main road and no reason for anyone to be there unless getting in their own cars. I know it could be nothing but then you hear about these mental people that abduct people, and I came out the shop on my own tonight! Scares me, called my dad and he demanded me to call the police so police are coming my work tomorrow xxxx
We moved our son to a toddler bed when he was about 17 months old but had to keep turning it back to a cot until he was about 21 months old, he has now been in there for 2 months and doing great
That sounds horrible! What a creep. Yes, he definitely needs somebody keeping their eye on him! Hope you don't have any more encounters with him xx
My god that's horrible hun, let's hope the police can do something.
I moved Harry last month into bed so baby can have his cot when ready n he has been fine so 17 months For him but I wouldn't of bothered but I was struggling to get him in n out with growing bump. Luckily he took to it well.
There's sticky at the top of the Pregnancy Chat section which covers everything but for me I've got:
Maternity pads
Breast pads
Lanisoh
Flannel and little jug (if you have a tear or stitches it can be a godsend, I only had a graze but it still helped)
Toiletries/make up/towel (I'm taking a hairdryer and straighteners this time as I ended up staying in with my son and looked like Worzel Gummidge until hubby went home to get them!)
Nappies
Cotton wool (instead of wipes to begin with)
Sleepsuits (I've got tiny baby and newborn as I think the twins will be little and my son was 6lb 10 and newborn was big for him)
Vests
Swaddle
Blanket
Hats
PJs for you
Big pants
Leggings and nursing top for when in hospital (handy when you have to feed and have visitors)
I'm taking a maxi skirt and top for leaving hospital.
Flip flops rather than slippers as it was too hot in April for slippers last time, hospitals are so warm!
You can probably take less and you can probably take more, this is just my list. x
