Happy birthday kelly, and happy august everyone!!!

Also, tmi, but I didn't get up to wee all night last night.... First time in months! That is enough to set me up for a fab day! Xx

Thank you ladies
Happy August everybody! Very exciting as this is the month where the fun begins Woohoo. I woke up with those horrible shooting pains again! Thankfully they have gone now. Gilly, I'm super excited for you :)

Have a lovely weekend ladies :) I hope the weather is good and we all have a positive weekend! :-)
Xx

I definitely don't want an August baby. Don't want them being the youngest at school. I know they catch up eventually but definitely a disadvantage in the early years.

I don't mind another August baby. I am pretty certain it doesn't effect them in school at all so I've come round to the idea that August is just fine :) x

I'm the same, my little girl is going to be one of the eldest as she just missed the last cut off date, I'm not particularly keen on that either! So I'm not bothered with an August baby as long as he is healthy

It does effect some and not others, I work in Secondary and we don't see the divide like I think happens in Primary. For me it is more about whether they are physically developed enough but that's a judgement call come the time. I know plenty of August babies that aren't at a disadvantage but then that's also down to what you do with them as a parent. It didn't bother me at first but when I actually looked at some of my data, the highest achievers at KS3 and KS4 were a total mixed bag. X

I am not going to worry about if my little one ends up one of the youngest or one of the oldest, if he is anything like his sister he will be very switched on and a bit of a brute hahahaha!

Off to the midlands to see the OH's family today so hoping for a nice symptom free day as don't relish the thought of visiting hospital up there! When I had my daughter in that hospital I wasn't allowed out for 4.5 days! This is what is scaring me about going to the wedding up there at 38 weeks pregnant! Eeeeek! x

I don't mind either way there is pros n cons for both sides. Will prob b Sept for me I doubt u will go into Labour by myself before 1st Sept but u never know.

Hope u have a good n uneventful time h. 4.5 days wow that must have drove u insane. I was in for just over two n that was more than enough.

Happy birthday Kelly!!! :)
Gilly you are having babies this month!!!!!:dance::pompom::dance::dance: and maybe so are some more of us?! Maybe ME?!
Hubby is convinced our little chap will be here on 28th August because My Grandad, my mum and me are all born on 28th of different months. I don't really mind if he arrives in August - healthy and happy is all that matters - from a learning/maturity perspective the gap has even closed massively by year 1, it was just in reception the late summer babies were noticeably less emotionally mature (I.e they cried a lot / had separation issues from mum in the morning and a whole school day tired them out a lot more) not surprising really seeing as at that age the difference between 4 and 5 is a fifth of your life! But I guess it all depends on the individual child
Ooo it's all getting a bit exciting!!
Xxx

Thank you everyone ! Really don't think it's clicked that I'm not going back yet.

So crazy to think our baby's will be here so soon, never been so excited to see the first of August! I'm due 5th September so who knows could be an August mummy we will see.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY!!!!!! Enjoy your day and weekend you deserve it!!!!

Gilly that is so exciting !!! I can't wait to see your little ladies!!!!!

Summer I love how alike our pregnancies are, I've said 28th August for me too and OH had a dream about it being then, think I told you? I also keep thinking 10th September tho!

Little miss hardly moved yesterday, only felt her hiccuping but no movements like her usual huge movements. With her being back to back I normally have arms and legs everywhere and a funny shaped bump with her pushing out, I put t down to me being non stop but even when I got in to bed I didn't feel her move. Calmed myself down and told myself she will be ok, this morning nothing again and she's normally really active. I've just drank a glass of coke and been lying down for 15 minutes on my left side and can feel her hiccuping and slight movements but not much else. Should I call midwife or wait and see? Xxxx

Haha bunny! Wouldn't be surprised if we go into labour on the same day
Personally I have 4th September stuck in my head.

When I experienced reduced movement last week I just called straight to triage - they were amazing and invited us in straight away so I'd go that route personally. For me it was just because he had finally flipped from back to back to the right way round so could be a good thing for you Danielle! :) always best to get checked though
Xxx

Thanks babe it's been 25 minutes now and I've just text Gilly and she said same as you best to be checked out xxxx

Sorry me again.

Just spoke to midwife because it's been half an hour now and I've felt her hiccup but that's it. She said stay on my left side for another hour and a half and then have something to eat, if still nothing call back xxxx

Hopefully you feel some movement Bunny, I'm a bit the same little man hasn't really been moving loads yesterday and today but I've been really sick so putting it to that and I've been dozing on and off. I'll maybe have to keep a closer eye though! Keep us updated xx

Thanks Ramsey, it could be nothing and I do feel a bit stupid going in but everyone I've spoke to have said that's what they are there for and it's best to go in to be on the safe side. Still not much change in movement so will probably ring in the next hour.

Hope you're feeling better soon and little man starts dancing around for you xxxx

Sorry Bunny, I have only just seen your Facebook message. Are you ok? Any movement yet? I would defo go and get checked, I have been checked twice for same thing with this little one, they will tell you it is always better to go in and be fine rather than leave it xx

H, hope you won't need the hospital this time or the wedding time!
I always worried with my last pregnancy about wasting Time with reduced movement but I was very silly to do so. It's a must! (Bad advice from somebody who never did it I know lol) but you really should. I know I am a bit behind so hope she started moving for u xx

I've text her but she's not read it so hoping she is just busy getting checked out. Fingers crossed little miss is kicking away now. X
