Crying is almost certain when that show is on my tv :-)
It's at 1.10pm.
Hope tomorrow goes well for us both :) x

Oh no! :(
I used to cry at obem but I actually never cried at the birth of my son. I think I was totally knackered and just pleased he was here and safe that I didn't have time for it to hit me. It didn't even occur to me that he was mine I don't think lol.

I know I actually can't believe it. It could be still 8 weeks for me if I go overdue but I am due in 38 days! That just doesn't sound very long now xx

I am the same Kelly I seem to cry at everything but it was hrs after before the overwhelming feelings hit me n I cried. I still look at him n think is he really mine!!!

Awww good luck tomorrow ladies, hope it goes well for you both :)

I don't actually cry at OBEM but do well up a bit if you know what I mean haha. The only time I cried during labour was not when she was born, it was when I was 2cm dilated and thought the pain was a lot worse than I ever thought it would be and I was scared hahahaha! When she finally arrived I just gave her a cuddle and a kiss and told her I loved her :)

50 days left for me! :)

Bunny - glad the end is in sight for you at work hun, bet that has been a really long count down for you! 3 days will fly by! :D

xx

It's been the longest countdown but hoping tomorrow, Thursday and Friday go super fast. Off Wednesday for my midwife app, feels surreal that I see her every two weeks now as she said I could go anytime at this stage. Eeeeeek!

How come you haven't seen her for 6 weeks Kelly? Hope tomorrow goes well for both you and Michelle can't wait to hear all about both your days.

Under 40 days for me too feels crazy, excited tho and really done with this back ache and excited to experience labor as mad as it sounds.

I cry all the time at OBEM, can't wait to catch up when our sky is finally set back up! Xxxxx

I cried at about 2/3cm too lol. I'm sure my pain was at its worse then. I really found the bath helpful with my pain!
I started my hospital bag, but haven't got very far yet lol! Let's hope she doesn't decide to come super early as I'm definitely not prepared. Need to sort entire house out (just making sure everything has a place like bottles, clothes etc) at 34 weeks with my son I was more than prepared x

As it's my second baby they don't see me very often. But after today it will also be every 2 weeks I think.
I also find labour exciting. And all the symptom spotting is so exciting! Even in the group when everyone else starts getting symptoms, it all gets real and is really fun for a few weeks!
In a lot of pain again today so I do think she is head down now :)

The week will fly by bunny, although you may just want to leave ASAP now! Xx

Awwww I see! I thought it was going really slow but when I think about it we really don't have long do we, I finish work Friday, start hypno-birthing classes Tuesday, pick the pram up Thursday, baby shower Saturday and then it'll be 4 weeks.

My hospital bag is almost done, just need to get some pj's and slippers etc but just going to nip primark next week and get them. How many maternity pads / nappies do you take? And what are you taking for baby? I haven't sorted her hospital bag yet as I'm going to take it in the bag I've got with pram.

I washed the bedding for the crib tonight and cot bedding comes tomorrow. Exciting times x x x x

Bunny this is what has ended up in my bag after a bit of a repack:

My bag:
- 10 Maternity pads
- 4 pairs Breast pads
- 5 pairs Big pants (you may bleed a lot and need to change them so always take more than you will need)
- Nursing bras
- 2 nighties
- leggings/loose tops and a maxi dress
- mini travel toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, face wipes, flannel)
- Make up (minimal amount though)
- Lip balm (Massive must have! The gas and air dries and cracks your lips and I had huge swollen painful lips for 3 days after birth)
- Snacks / drinks
- Change for parking etc
- Phone/Phone charger (will pack last minute)
- Pregnancy notes
- Something to read
- Carrier bag for dirty washing
- Towel(s)
- Flip flops instead of slippers as it may be hot and you can shower in them if you are funny about showering in hospital bathrooms like me (verrucas!)

Baby bag:

- 1 knitted cardigan in case it is chilly
- 3 vest tops
- 3 sleepsuits
- 10 nappies
- Nappy sacks
- Cotton wool
- Water wipes
- Change mat
- 2 dummies
- Dummy clip
- 2 pairs scratch mits
- 2 hats
- Formula starter pack as I am not breastfeeding
- Blanket

I also have a carrier bag in the cupboard under stairs with a few extra outfits and nappies for baby and extra clothes / maternity and breast pads for me in case we have to stay in hospital for few days - OH can just grab it then rather than having to look for things x

H16. What size of clothing are you taking for baby?

Also. I bought asdas little angel nappies. Size 1 to pack in hospital bag, split the pack in half aNd pulled one out ... my god they look so tiny. Im actually worried theyre going to be too small lol!! I think im going to pack some size 2 newborn just incase!

Size 1 nappies go up to 11lb I think? So hopefully baby won't be that big haha, I know what you mean though!

Originally I had 2 vests in newborn and 2 in 0-3 and same with sleepsuits. After my scan showing he going to be a right chunk I took the 2 new born outfits out and replaced them with 1 "up to 1 month" vest and sleepsuit instead x

I've got 6 nappies. But I will make a spare bag incase I have to stay in hospital longer this time.
I just expect it to be as quick and straight forward as last time! Doh

I also couldn't believe how tiny the size 1 nappies were :-o

My bag(or list for it as its not finished yet)is nearly identical to yours h!!

I have only packed the newborn nappies and clothes as h says they go up to 11lbs n Harry was tiny so I'm thinking this one will b too.

As Kelly has said tho I will have another bag in the car which will have more baby clothes, more clothes fir me, more pads n snacks etc. I'm hoping it as quick as with Harry but I'm not holding ny breath with an induction!!

Oh my, I really need to sort my bag out. Still waiting for hubby to go up into the loft to get the newborn clothes out. Definitely this weekend's job!
