Fingers crossed for a good size on Friday, Michelle.

Bet that was quite the scare, Kelly! Did she just get you mixed up with someone or read your notes wrong?

Sounds like a lovely day Tessa, hoping to take O to a farm park in Friday when the weather is better. Got to get him some wellies first though, quite excited about that! I'm a loser but I think kids in wellies are soooo cute!!

Kids in wellies are totally cute! I get stupidly excited getting belle silly new things like that too! Wellies were definitely needed today aswell! X

5 weeks! Woohoo! :-)

Gilly, she had my reaults and thought that put me in the gd category. She even convinced the diabetic clinic that I was. Then somebody else had a look and said I wasn't as my numbers weren't within gd range at all!?

We are going to buy Joshy some wellies too very soon as he loves walks in the rain and puddles! X

Harry looks so cute in his little red wellies bless him. N he loves nothing better than putting them in n helping daddy in the garden. Love his all in one puddle suit to wish I cud have one lol.

Gonna get him some tomorrow.
Having a bit of a mental moment, the girls don't seem to have been moving as strongly today. I can still feel movement but it's much softer and doesn't feel as energetic. When I had reduced movement with Otto it was literally not a lot of movement, whereas this feels like a change in the type of movement. Is it worth texting the mw tomorrow or am I being a bit neurotic? Xx

I had reduced movement 2 days ago and after worrying for 12hrs hubby made me call triage - they were AMAZING. Invited us straight in for assessment - had me on the monitor and even got doc to do a scan (because they thought he was breech). all was absolutely fine - he had basically completely shifted position from back to back to correct way round and got himself fully engaged - which is a great but of course all the massive limb movements poking out front now we're going towards my back and felt very different to me!
Point is they didn't make me feel silly for 1 second - in fact they told me not to hesitate in going back in a week or even the next day - they'd rather I was there every day than worrying and causing myself stress at home. I heard this 3 times from 2 different midwives and the doctor. Now I'm used to his new position and been made to feel so at ease by the hospital team - Im far less anxious.
don't wait until morning / community midwife - if you're anxious, phone straight to triage xxx

I would mention it Gilly, as you know I have gone to hospital for reduced movement recently and they made it clear you should always get checked out if the movement pattern changes. You know your LO's pattern of movements and what is normal for them so any concerns over changes to movements are always worth mentioning. I am sure everything is ok but it is always worth getting checked for peace of mind :) Let us know how you get on x

I'm worried I don't know my baby's pattern of movement as its so irregular , hoping maternal instinct will kick in if anything changes. Got MW tomorrow and really excited to ask lots of questions and ask for a water birth.

Gilly hope your ok and the girls have started wriggling more, let us know if you go and get checked out? Like everyone's said it's always worth it to stop the worrying.

Kelly and Michelle glad everything went well today, Michelle let us know how Friday goes I'm sure bubs is perfect in there and how exciting it could be the 1st September !!

Xxxx

Sorry ladies, realised I am a page behind!

Kelly I can't believe they scared you like that making you think they had missed gd all along! Glad you are ok though.

Michelle, glad they are happy with your controlled diet for gd, you should feel proud you have done such a great job looking after baby. Can't wait to hear all about your scan and hopefully it will put your mind at rest regarding LOs size.

Bunny I think your work will really miss you when you are on leave, sounds like you are the only one that puts the effort in hun. You really do deserve your rest, well earned by sounds of it.

Tessa glad you had a nice day at animal park, sounds fun :)

Good luck tomorrow bunny. I'll keep fingers crossed for you that all is well for a water birth!

I don't want anything but a pool again this time! It was so soothing. Xx

Thanks h I am glad the levels r low n that they r happy with how it's going just want to make sure baby is ok now. One good thing I forgot to mention was they r allowing me to just test twice a day now instead of four to save my poor fingers lol

Hope u manage to get checked out gilly reduced movements r such a worry.

I really fancied a water birth first time round but wasn't allowed one either but I did have a bath during contractions and all that happened for me was I got angry at having wrinkly fingers so prob a good thing I didn't go in a pool. Can you say hormones? hahahaha! x

I'm gutted I can't get in as water helps me so much with my fibromyalgia so I know it would help but never mind. Lol h I do hate getting wrinkly too!!

Aww thank you H that's a lovely thing to say, manager did say yesterday he knows how much I've done for the store and been selfless. I've told them I doubt I'll be going back unless it's worth my while , ie: promotion. Cheeky much? Haha!

Thanks Kelly she should be here around 11 so going to have breakfast & a bath and then just chill on the sofa till she gets here, hope she finds my new house ok haha! Going to go get the last little bits for hospital bag when she's been :) like feeling prepared and worried if I did happen to go very early my OH wouldn't have a clue what to get me if bag wasn't all sorted haha!

Aww sorry Michelle, I really hope I can have one but I'm not sure how many birthing pools are at my hospital. I'll ask today but won't be getting my hopes up as I'm sure you have to book them which is impossible! How will I know when little miss is going to wang to come haha x x x

I'd love a water birth but don't know if it's allowed if I have a vbac. Ive heard they monitor you more closely but need to ask midwife what this means. Our hospital only has one pool so it would be first come first served.

Feeling flustered!!! Had midwife next week on Wednesday, but she phoned this morning to say I have missed my app. I am 100% sure it was next week as I am one of those stupidly reliable people who is always half an hour early! Anyway, she said she would like to see me today to check growth so I now have an app at 3. I thought I had another week until I had to worry about it and now suddenly it has been bought forward. Need to chill so my blood pressure reading isn't too high! X
