November Mummies! <3

I used Mam bottles and soothers for my daughter, same again this time. TBH I've never used the self sterilising function! I like that they're anti-colic - my daughter never suffered but I don't know if we were just lucky or if the bottles played a part!

My daughter had Cow&Gate First Milk with no problems, so same again this time.

I got mine online with my daughter a couple of pounds they were.

Ah good. Cause there's no room left in my bag

Yeah anti colic is a bonus. We didn't struggle really with colic but I've heard nightmare stories about it.

Also using cow & gate again, started on Aptamil with my daughter until I realised it was exactly the same only more expensive. C

T2186 I've taken a screen shot of your list so I can check things off it! Haha

Most Asdas (and Boots I think) have a travel size section with all sorts

Morrisons are 3 for £3 on travel stuff atm, that's where I got mine. But no dry shampoo that I could see.

X

Seems time is going a bit quicker this week, hope this carries on until baby is here! Summer dragged on SO much.
I've spaced everything out nicely so I have things to look forward to every day in an attempt to make time go a teeny bit quicker. I'm having my hair done this week too, fresh colour in prep for postpartum pics :P

I need my hair done, gonna wait now until baby is here & I'm feeling yucky & unattractive, it'll be a nice treat.

I feel like time has sped up this last 2 week. But we've been busy, whereas nothing planned now until baby's here & now I'm off work I bet it'll drag.

My boss told me yesterday one of our colleagues went into labour & the days before she had loose stools... and everyone said it's a sign... that's been me the last few days... :|

37 weeks tomorrow! X

I've been told that before labour women might poop easier or a lot more

Has anyone else had clicking noises from their bump?
My mother says it's baby's joints clicking. It's the most bizzare thing, because noise comes from my bump but I can't feel a thing! I googled it and one theory suggested it might be baby's mouth making clicking noises. Although I know it's very very unlikely I'd be able to hear it if that was the case, I prefer that theory!

Yes Cati, mine clicks all the time but I've no idea what it is! I've also read that it's pockets of water moving/releasing when the baby changes position.

Starchild, the night I went into labour with my daughter, I had horrendous bowel cramps and felt really nauseous. After I'd had a serious bout of diarrhoea I felt better, but a few hours later my contractions started. I didn't link the two at the time, but after googling and talking to other women, I think it was a clear out before labour.

I've never heard the clicks.. I think if my bump were to click I would panic lol it gave a pop last time... but that was as my waters broke lol

I'm trying to think back if I had a clear out first time round

Just ordered the MAM bottle kit. Can't get them for a week but at least they're chosen and paid for. Also bought the mattress for Moses basket, so just need some bedding.

First official day of maternity leave and OH woke me up when I heard him getting ready, daughter is awake too so sounds like an early start for us! Lol x

Morning all - 35weeks today so 4 weeks until my section date :)

I started maternity leave last week but got taken in on day 1 because my blood pressure was misbehaving, then had awful constipation for two days which then gave me the worst piles - I've never known pain like it!! Dr gave me a load of creams and it's so much better now thankfully - the glamour of pregnancy huh!

After all that was over, child 3 came down with scarlet fever, now given to child 2 and hubby so just waiting for child 1 to start showing symptoms and then me! I have only left the house for school run and dr / hospital appts - not at all how I had my first weeks of mat leave planned!!

It has given me time to start washing baby clothes though and I need to start sorting a bag - I think I've got everything I need, just need to put it all in one place. I've ordered cheap slippers that I can throw out when I leave hospital and some massive knickers so they don't irritate the scar. Then the only thing I have left to get is nappies.

I'm hoping to breast feed again but have got some Tommee Tippee bottles / steriliser / prep machine as they served me well with the other three.

Have any of you settled on names yet?? We really can't decide :( I'm in love with the name Aria but apparently it's a character in Game of Thrones so will be really popular this year and I like uncommon names - we don't even watch it! x

Daughter went back to sleep until 8:45, boy it's gonna be a shock having a newborn lol

Oh no Tinkey1104 hope your blood pressure settled, mine was up all the time with my first pregnancy I was always in hospital, it wasn't fun!

Never had piles though, wouldn't even know what to look for? Lol

Aww no sounds rubbish. Hope you're all better real soon!

We've kind of have chosen a name. Not the number 1 name we love 'cause everyone hates that... but our 2nd and only other choice. I think we're going with Hunter. But I can't think of a middle name.

Aria is lovely. I don't it either but my partner does and suggested all the boy names from it  I'm the same, don't allow popular names, there's a Hunter in my daughter's class, it wasn't too popular when I was pregnant with her & liked it. But now I'm thinking there'll be definitely a few kids with the same name which is putting me off somewhat. X

Love the name Aria.I'm Persian and grew up loving the name (it's Persian/Indian origin) Arya/Aria/Aryia.

We're going with Max Lucas. We chose a name that'd work both in English and Swedish. The letter J is pronounced Y here for example. My partners surname is Hjerpe (pronounced: Yerrpeh) awful name lol looks like the word Herpes. He's called Linus (pronounced Leenus) which sounds like penis.. penis herpes.. lol

Lovely names :) Aria is such a pretty name, eventhough it's a character from Game of Thrones! I intend on finding a tiny dragon costume when baby is here so I can take cute pics and be the Mother of Dragons haha!

I've got a first name all set for months. We've been refering to bump as that name for so long. Second name is pending approval from OH, but I'm pretty set on a certain name which I haven't told anyone as it's my grandfather's name and I want it to be a surprise for him :)

I love names like Maisie, Martha, Jemima, Amelie but my OH hates them all! The only ones he likes are Imogen, Amelia and Cleo, they're ok but I don't love them. At this rate she won't have a name for weeks!

I like Martha my friends sister has that name & it's lovely for both a child & and adult.

We had Lucas as a choice for our daughter had she been a boy but changed our mind this time.

Baby's been quiet today. I know they say there's less room to move but he's been lazy all day. A few pokey out bits & didn't even go nuts after dinner tonight. LO is going to bed in an hour and OH is up at 5am but I'm seriously considering ringing the midwife. Gonna try an ice lolly after daughters bath.

He's moving, just hardly. :/ x
