November Mummies! <3

In my notes I have a list of when I'll have appointments, (I can't remember off the top of my head) do you have that too?

My sister, cousin and best friend threw me a surprise baby shower on Sunday it was so lovely. I knew there would be something at some point but I honestly had no idea it was then haha. I cried! We had the most amazing cake and got some lovely things for baby, so feel very lucky  xx

I see my midwife today at 36+3, GP at 38+3 weeks then nothing until midwife and consultant if I get to 41+4 weeks!

It's usually every 2 weeks from 36 (if the pregnancy isn't high risk)

Oh glad you got a baby shower April!

Growth scan estimates baby to already weigh 7lbs 12oz!!! My daughter was born at 40+2 weighin 7lbs 8oz! This one is gonna be a 9lber! I am now really anxious that as I struggled with my daughter, I've got no chance of this going smoothly :'(

Ah yes found a list of usual appointments in my notes :) Thanks

Has anyone else's bump dropped or gone lower?
I thought I noticed a drop this morning, and I've been trying to compre it to pics I took a few days ago but I shrugged it off as me being too eeger for baby to be here. But then my mother mentioned it out of the blue earlier.
Someone mentioned before it doesn't mean too much, could still mean baby is a while away yet

Also having quite a bit more discharge than normal

Mayflower will they not be inducing you early? My colleague was estimated to have a big baby & they induced her.

Although, I had a growth scan around 2 weeks before my daughter and they said she was measuring 2 week ahead which I'm not sure what that was... but a lot bigger than she turned out to be at 7lb 2. They'd guessed she was bigger than 7lb 2 from the scan! So try not to panic too much.

My bump dropped a while ago, as about 49 people have pointed out to me *eyeroll* I'm getting the pressure, constant need to urinate but I'm still getting the heartburn & rib kicks. Best of both.

I've been having loads of discharge since mid September, to where I have to change 'cause I'm wet! TMI

They are signs your body is preparing but I wouldn't read too much into it. Just make sure everything's ready to go would be my advice 'cause you just never know! X

I haven't had heartburn since yesterday morning and I've had it practically non stop for months!

They've already said they won't induce due to my previous c-sec. So if they decide baby needs to come out, it will be straight to c-sec.

I've got to go back for blood test tomorrow morning to rule our gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia, plus another full blood count because my iron levels have dropped even more. I'm also being referred back to the consultant because my midwife is so concerned about how big she is :(

I hope all goes well with the blood test tomorrow Mayflower :)

Picking up our new car tonight so will probably have our isofix and car seat ready to go by the weekend. Xx

We never used the isofix base last time but I'm contemplating getting one this time.

I sit in the back atm with my toddler, gonna be strange having to sit in the front as I'm not sure if squash in the middle of two car seats. X

Hey hun sorry to jump on your thread, been wondering how you've been :-) was trying to find our old emails to message you haha xxx

Snap with the uncomfortable. I finished work Sunday and thought I'd be resting but spent the week doing more than I would have at work! Lol

Fed up of this heartburn. Can always remember I had really bad heartburn literally until my daughter came out and then it went instantly. Can't wait for that lol

Try get some omeprazole starchild. It's prescription free here. Maybe ranitidine?

A friend suggested trying love hearts sweets for heartburn. I tried it and it worked, but they're a bit too sugary for me really.

I've just developed a cold out of nowhere in like minutes. I was fine, next second I'm sneezy and snotty. Feel so poopy. I'm just leaking out of everywhere. I just want baby here in the next-to-me crib. But I also know I'm gonna miss bump and feel his wiggles. But I just want to hold him in my arms now. But I'm just a lactating, weepy, snotty shambles.

Nice to see you back Clover. How have you been? I remember you saying you had a lot going on and your daughter was pregnant too.

I feel quite lucky that I've had a pretty easy, straightforward pregnancy. On the recovering end of a cold atm over the last week. No heartburn and been quite lucky with not much sickness either, apart from 2/3 weeks ago ha. Xx

I've been having period cramps constantly for 3 days now. I'm 34 weeks - is that normal ? X

I have ranitidine, I'll only take it if it's really severe, though.

Hmm, can't imagine how fizzy sweets would work but worth a shot! Thanks!

Oh I've just got a cold too, but I know mine came from my LO. Poor baby has had it a few days now.

It'll soon be over!

T2186 I've been having period cramps too, I get mine in the back. Unfortunately that's how labour felt for me too, intense period cramps, it's the one type of pain that really gets me. :( I mentioned to midwife at my last appointment (36 weeks) and she said it's normal as there's lots going on in there but obviously any pattern to the pains or blood then to go & get checked out.

I actually don't feel pregnant today, aside from my belly not letting me stand as close to the worktop I feel like I'm not pregnant at all.
