Good luck for your induction starchild! Hope it all goes nice and quick for you.

My little girl has arrived!! Kira Frances was born at 9.33 on 31St October, weighing 8lbs 1Oz. Been trying to breastfeed, but she has blistered my nipples already!!

Looking forward to seeing which of you ladies has the next November baby

I'm excited for you!

I've been awake since around half 5 this morning. Woke up and went for a wee and couldn't get back to sleep. Going for a walk around the park with my sister and nephew later this morning. Xx

So after psyching ourselves up all night & morning, sorting childcare, dog sitters, driving to hospital, paying for a 24 hour ticket... it's been postponed until tomorrow as they're too busy.

Feeling a bit crappy now about the whole situation. Really deflated. X

Oh Starchild, why did they tell you to go in then?!

I thought that! I rang up at 8am & she said come in when you're ready. We sat an hour & then were told it was postponed 'cause the ladies hadn't delivered their babies yet. Surely they knew that when I rang! I said to the doctor I'm not coming in tomorrow unless I'm guaranteed something is gonna happen. For two weeks now we've been back and forward, told we'd be induced on a number of occasions. It's all draining, not to mention costing a fortune on petrol & parking tickets! Messing little one around who was all excited to be sleeping at grandmas tonight, & now isn't.

And when you prepare yourself for something like this & then are told go home... it's a horrible feeling. But oh well! Been on a nice walk through "the forest" and to the castle with our daughter. Hoping to get baby budging on his own.

Anyway. Hope everyone else is doing good.

Emmajaine hope you're home soon with LO! X

I'm so gutted for you Starchild. I don't understand how they can just mess people's lives around like that. Very unfair. I do hope tomorrow is your day - or you go into natural labour

I was almost crying when we got back in the car. Just building myself up to leave with a baby & again we left alone.

Another thing which is bothering me is my blood pressure being high & the fact I've developed pre eclampsia hasn't led to any checks on baby. Last time we had a scan to make sure baby was okay. Doctor said my placenta isn't working properly but 'cause he's moving does that mean there's no cause for concern? We've had no real check since 20 week scan.

I'm just a wreck at the mo! Very stressed.

Good sign Rachel, although not good you're in pain. X

Sorry Starchild, no experience of pre-eclampsia but make sure you tell them if you're unhappy or worried about baby!

Very uncomfortable here too - walking is a struggle and bad lower back pain.

Oh Starchild that sucks - they've messed you around a few times now haven't they!

Came in from my walk this afternoon and had a little hour and a half nap. Was going to make shepherds pie for tea but can't be bothered and woke up feeling sluggish so said I'd start pasta for hubs coming home instead. Think I feel more tired now than I was before.

I'm still fine with walking but getting up and down is a bit tiring. At least if I was struggling to walk I would feel like it's closer to baby coming :/ xx

I have this feeling that its going to be soon. Hope gut instinct is right. Got bit of lower back pain too.
Anyone believe in superstitions?! Last time hubby cooked for me we fell pregnant and hubby cooked dinner for me tonight....maybe its a sign!?!?
