Heartburn is awful here too!

I could eat nothing, a hot curry, a dish of plain pasta it wouldn't make a difference.

It got this bad towards the end with my daughter too. And it literally went when she came out. Can't wait! Oh and she had loads of hair!

38wks for me today - section booked for next Monday, she might be here by this time. I feel like this pregnancy has gone really quickly so trying to be positive and enjoy my last ever week of pregnancy. Trying not to moan too much!! Xx

I'm at the midwife at 1pm & then we're having a little Halloween party this evening so hoping to avoid getting sent to day ward with blood pressure. Got Halloween food to make! Lol

I've got a pain. Close to where my leg meets my body (groin?) almost feels like a hernia / tearing bursting type pain. Not nice at all. xx

Is he fully engaged? Might be pushing his way down? My little lady isn't engaged at all so I keep getting feet / knees against my ribs which makes me feel a bit queasy....

I've been always thought this was one of the quieter threads mind. Can't believe we haven't had any early babies yet only two days off November.

I've got my 38w app today with midwife. I'm hoping it'll be my last one and won't need to see her at 40w, no matter how lovely she is haha. Xx

We don't really celebrate Halloween, we never did as kids so it's not something I ever think about.

Personally I hate Halloween, think it's the worst 'holiday' of the year and just an excuse for people to get drunk. Don't know if it's because I've mainly worked in bars around Halloween so probably stemmed from there. Xx

Just had my 38w app and midwife has offered me an optional sweep next week! Quite exciting as it feels like it's actually getting closer now, instead of just waking up and Still being pregnant haha. She's so lovely, we were chatting about Bakeoff and who should win tomorrow! She also said she's on the ward at the weekend and I'll hopefully see her then instead of my next appointment on Monday! Xx

I've got a last minute consultant appointment this Thurs at 39+4, but I wasn't due to see anyone until 41+4! I saw my midwife at 38+3 so that would have been three weeks without seeing anyone.

We live on a new development and everyone gets involved in Halloween - we never did it as children ourselves but everyone makes so much effort here so we take the kids out It's really lovely, people make big curries for the adults and there is a house that does candy floss and popcorn. Majority of kids go to the school in the middle of the development so all know each other and my 7yr old has been planning her costume for weeks!!

I&#8217;m having a lot of achy pain around my hips and inner thigh area. Been feeling so so poopy and totally tired all day. And very teary, though I&#8217;ve held it back as much as I can.

I really really really wish baby will come sooooon!!!

Also really worried that baby is going to be big and cause issues if it doesn&#8217;t come soon. Going for my 38 week appt on thurs

Busy thread today!

My blood pressure was up to 140/104 & I had protein in my urine so went to day ward. I've developed pre eclampsia. Missed little ones party (we sorted it for grandmas house before we left for hospital so she didn't miss out) so I'm a bit upset even more so as was told I'd be getting induced but then told at 6pm they're leaving it until Wednesday!

Had a successful sweep (wow it was awful, really uncomfortable would not fancy another one didn't expect it to be like that at all!)

I'm 1cm..

Sounds lovely that Tinkey do you live in the U.K.? I'd love to find an area like that. Ours does a scarecrow comp and the youth club have a party but that's about it.

I'm spotting and cramping so expecting a long uncomfortable night. The joys! X

Sounds like things are headed in the right direction though Starchild, and your body has done it once so now it's getting started baby could be here before you know it! Good luck!
