November Mummies! <3

If the last time he cooked for you was when you conceived then you maybe need a new hubby haha  I joke, I joke! Not sure on superstitions though. Some of them but not all xx

I'm superstitious, I took a walk in the same park today that I walked around with my friend the day my waters broke with my daughter. Fingers crossed!

What has he cooked? If it's curry you might be in with a shot lol

Walking isn't exactly painful for me only sometimes like when I get tired or BHs.

I'm at the stage now where I'm fed up of hearing all the hints and tips to get baby out, all the "is he here yet" messages. I know people mean well but I'm only 40 weeks & 2 today not like well over due. I think I'm a bit moody lol x

Hubby never cooka. Its 100000000 times easier for me to do lol. Besides he works really odd and long hours.
Erm...tonight we had a cooked breakfast lol. His choice.

It's one of my favourite meals a fry up! Lol I could eat them any time of day. X

Cooked breakfast is a great choice though haha. We had sausage, chips and beans last week and enjoyed the change lol. We don't really cook much fresh between us really, although we should try and make an effort more. Xx

I think I'm having contractions - not hugely painful yet but every ten mins for the last couple of hours.

Every 5 mins lasting 30-40 secs... definitely starting to hurt more! Midwife said to call back when they're lasting 60 secs and coming every 5 mins.

Ohhhh how exciting Mayflower!! Hope you're not suffering too much though. Huge good luck! X

Congratulations Emmajaine! Hope you're enjoying cuddles with your little girl

Starchild have they said when they are inducing you now?
So frustrating hun

I've had really bad stabbing pains low down , went to the midwife yesterday and she said baby's head is engaged now and that's probably the pain I've been experiencing. ..It felt like my waters were going to pop lol
I'm due next Wed so less than a week yay !

Struggling to walk because of hip pelvis pain ...anyone else having problems? Xxx

Good luck Mayflower!

I had loads of issues with hip/pelvis pain so completely sympathise Clover. It really sucks!

Am home from hospital now, and struggling with how many people are in my house! My mum and Mil are both here, which initiallly I thought would be a good idea. As there would be people to help with Lexi (my 2 and a half years old) and do cooking/dishes etc, however it truly feels like they are just watching everything I do, and not helping, until I ask them to do x,y, or z. I honestly thought they would use their common sense and think about what might need doing as I recover from major abdominal surgery! But it seems not.....grrrr! Wish I had only invited 1 and then only for a.few days each now....:wall2:

Sorry for the rant, just superfrustrated with everything!

Em x

Oh that's so frustrating Em
I do sypathise as I have a house full.of people (my daughter her partner my teenage daughter my 5 year old and my hubby ) and I seem to do everything! I tidy up after then all, cook clean do laundry ect ect
I know it's going to be the same after the baby is born ..
Hopefully you can get some rest sweetie and they help a bit more

Hope all is going well for you Mayflower!

Emmajaine, maybe you could suggest they take your daughter to the park or somewhere to give you a bit of rest and baby time? Maybe mention you’d really like a certain meal, so they would go out to the shops and give you time?

Clover I’ve had those stabbing pains for maybe a week or two. It’s so weird, like your waters are gonna go at any moment and then it doesn’t!

I've been admitted this morning, I'm waiting to be scored & then induced. I'm feeling nervous about the induction but scared now she told me it can take days & OH will have to go home at 8pm. :(

How are things Mayflower?

Clover I had similar pains last night I was expecting baby to pop out. Hopefully it'll come to something soon. X

Eeeek good luck Mayflower and Starchild!

I take it you cant just ask them to leave Emma? Good suggestions to take your daughter out or if they won't maybe just say you and baby are going to go upstairs for a nap, try and get some piece that way if you're really limited. Xx

Next examination at 2.30pm, having about 4 contractions in ten mins now.

Good luck Starchild!

Oh no that's not what you need when you're recovering! It'll be more hard work than not having them there. *eyeroll*

I've had the pessary put it at 1pm. Midwife said "the idea isn't to star labour but to open your cervix so we can break your waters" so I'm feeling a bit bored and disappointed that I'm probably just gonna be stuck here for 24 hours waiting for something to happen when it's highly likely nothing will happen.

Fed up already, OH has left to get me some bits & pieces and I'm bored and lonely. He's coming back at visiting time & bringing my daughter which will be nice. X
