**********November 2015 mummies***********

Not sure how she means talking to the doctors about getting you to 38 or 39 weeks. A baby comes when they come as you well know. 37 is deemed as fully cooked anyway so she has no need to worry. Don't let it stress you, you have no real influence about keeping a baby inside you for longer!!

Had another scan yesterday and as I thought (because I felt it blerg) little miss has turned and is now head down. Not so many kicks just a load of crazy punches every night keeping me awake. Brixton hicks have started too but only mild and infrequent.

My sciatica hasn't been so crippling the last two days so less sitting on the bed and crying for me - I'm tragic I know.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm worried that they wont be here in time for the birth if i do go at 37 weeks and the earliest they plan to be here is 39 weeks or get a flight as soon as im in labour. Which is a 6 hour flight followed by a 6 hour drive down. My longest labour has been 7 hours and shortest 4 hours, so i will be left caring for the baby till they arrive. If thats the case then there is a good chance i will bond with him and not want to give him up.

I see you're from Plymouth. Me too! Although I live in cornwall now.

:wave:Not too far away from me.

Took the kids in town for school uniform today. So tired and sore now but atleast its done. So expensive this year as my baby boy starts school in september.

Also had a scan the placenta hs moved up and baby is now head down.

Been talking to the babys mum to be about being here for the birth but i can't convince her that she will need to be here from 37 weeks as my son was born at 37 weeks and the consultant said theres a chance it may be he case this time.
she wants me to talk to the drs about trying to get me to 39 to 40 weeks. I'm not sure what to say to her now as its really not something the drs can control.

Bloody hell!! "getting you to 39 / 40 weeks...?!?!?" That's the craziest thing I have ever heard!!! I would reiterate your advice about what you think she should do, but ultimately if you have the baby at 37 weeks and she isn't there it will be her fault she's missed out won't it? Hopefully she'll come round before it needs to become an issue. xx

I've had sciatica too Toots. Not as bad now as it was a few weeks ago, but still literally a pain in the ass when it's there!! Not nice at all.

This is actually my first official day in Tri 3 so even though I've been posting here for a while, I feel less like a fraud posting now than I have done!! Yay for tri 3 :) :) :) xxx

Oh no that seems silly. Do they want you to keep you legs crossed? ;-) that's how long your body takes to make a perfect little baby. They need to take you seriously. You really are amazing!!!

Congrats in your baby boy starting school. That must be exciting. Xxx

Sounds like they live very far away Emerald, I didn't realise that was the case. Still, as 37 weeks is full term I'd tell her they need to be on alert from then, especially given your previous delivery history. It'd be harder on you too if you had to wait with the new baby for them to come (also on the baby in imagine!). I hope you can talk some sense into them! Here's no leg crossing or clenching your muscles and waiting for a week!!! That's madness!

Physically you just cannot hold baby in when it decides it's ready to come out. Of course they know this and need to do whatever they can to make sure they're available when they need to be. You aren't just popping out this baby for a laugh - you are giving birth to their child, for gods sake, you'd think the least they could do was to make plans to be there when it happens!! xx

Kayleigh hope u get that sorted. Totally agree that will be tougher on u if they are not there straight away. Lol
Yeah just cross ur legs till 40 weeks it's that easy I'm sure lol.

Hope u guys are all ok, I am not on here a whole Lot these days but busy getting organised. Nursery is finally getting stripped today and papered next weekend, and I am
growing into a beached whale every day!!! 8 weeks left at work and looking forward to me and hubby's wee babymoon on 31st aug xxx

Quinn you are due exactly one day before me. :) I'm also starting to feel like a beached whale. I dunno about you but I can tell I'm in the third trimester. Feel very very pregnant now. Ha ha

Oh Kayleigh hope u get this sorted, that will be so tough on u. Are they not able/willing to come to the UK for around when u are 37 weeks? X

Hopefully she will listen to the midwife when shes here next month.

Had a lovely foot treatment today was so relaxing. My toes look so much nicer compared to when my oh cuts and paints them for me lol.
Definatly recommend getting a pamper session in before baby arrives.
I have a pregnacy massage booked for september 15th i cant wait.

I could do with a pedicure as I can no longer even see my feet....but I'm super ticklish & don't think I could stand it lol xx

I asked hubby to do my toes the other day and we stopped at undercoat. I didn't trust him with colour after seeing him apply clear, lol. My toes look so naked without a proper colour! Think I need to go pro and splurge on a proper pedicure xx

I asked my oh yesterday what he would think about painting my toes and he said he Would but the look on his face was a picture. Ha ha. Don't think he's keen.

Think of it as a lucky escape hunni. I'm just glad we had a trial run with clear before I let him loose with anything more obvious- would have looked bloody awful and not like I can easily wipe it all off and start again! xx

Definatly get a pedi mine looked like my 3 year old had done them.
They look so much nicer now.
Mine had a foot mask, Salt scrub followed by foot and leg massage. Was heavenly. We all deserve a treat.
