*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Ah right well to be honest a couple of hauck reviews said problems collapsing frame but i cant afford a 2000 pound silver cross doo dah or whatever so its tough haha. Not even got a bloody club card haha.

Definitely going to be reusing things for future children although at the moment the thought of going through this preg all over again so far is sooooo not appealing!!! :-/

Ooh spd i hope not hun. Imgetting weird back avhes but in like sides of back not middle. Maybe linked to my hips but not constant and windered if it was linked to braxton hicks in some way. Its a bit of a ooh ahh moment then gone hah. Been looking up braxton hicks and early labour in prep for whats coming as i literally know nothing. Mucus plug sounds lush though, not! ;) haha xx

Woo I finally managed to get some energy to make a start on sorting the kids room!

Got the main bits painted! Needs touching up here and there and glossing but going to finish that in September when Myah's back at nursery!

The buntings for the room also arrived today!

Just needs rearranging and the cot inside then that's one room off my list :D

Katie, that room looks lovely, I like the colours.

I went back to Aintree, got the deal on the car seat (so now I'm committed to the Graco Evo, one less decision to make!) and went around Kiddicare again. Got a Moses stand for £17, and got some feeding stuff - manual breast pump, a few bottles and a steriliser for £50, saving about £30. Ooh and a parasol in that price too.

If you can't get near a Kiddicare, look online, there are some decent reductions there. The shops are offering a further discount on top but if you can't get there, there's still some bargains to be had online.

I'm worn out now, 4 days of being up and about doing stuff has really hurt my pelvis so am going to have a couch day tomorrow to try to rest it.

Thank you NJP! Glad you did well with your baby shopping! Wish we could go and do some baby shopping but everything is bought now & no money spare as we are going to start the Xmas shopping soon! I love kiddicare! I bought Myah's car seat from there and can't wait to buy baby's when he's older

It's a shame they're closing down the shops because it's the biggest baby shop I've seen. The mothercares aren't really that big, not that I've seen and I've been to four different ones now.

I'm just pleased that the massive sale has coincided with my spending spree! I did feel bad on the staff there though, as if I was picking over the corpse of their jobs.

I still don't have much - moses basket, some feeding stuff, car seat, some bits of clothes which were gifts and a changing mat. DW has told me to slow down, that it's too early to be getting all this stuff. I don't think it's that much!

I've only ever been to one big mothercare store and that's about half an hour away but it's got early learning centre with it as well and I got lost in there haha! Our local store is tiny.. They literally have about 4 prams on display and the rest is just squashed up clothes rales! Hate shopping in there!

I left a lot of baby shopping until last minute with Myah and it was awful walking around with such a big belly being pushed into and stuff so I'm glad I'm pretty much sorted now so I can put the effort into giving the house a good blitz and bringing all the baby stuff home and setting up then hopefully put my feet up and have time with myah before he arrives :-)

I dont think its ever too early for a bargain or two!!
Sounds like u did well huni :)

I wish they had our pram id buy that there. We already have moses basket n stand though only thing we need thats expensive is steriliser and breast pump. Thinking of getting baby monitors. Any advice there girls?? Xxx

Thanks for the support lady...My mood hasn improved much, in fact i think theres been tears everynight this week. Recent days i have been struggling with back ache and then new symptoms tonight which im wondering are braxton hicks because have unpainful stretchy feeling across tummy...the only thing that makes me doubt it is that is that i think they feel more constrant that short and quick...anyways i hate pregnancy and keep having to remind myself to shut up moaning because people out there that desperately want to be pregnant that cant!

On a plus note im holidays as of tomorrow..we are having a week in the lake district with a group of friends so hopefully it will be fun and a great distraction from pregnancy.

Katiee begining to think that i should just get the shopping out the way as im feeling pretty physically struggling now (packing for holiday was a drag, bending down on knees to get stuff out of drawers was a real effort) thought i would be fine leaving it till last minute...but doubting the idea now!

Katie, also love the bunting!

Mellie..i too am going for the maxi cosi 2 way pearl.. Got an ex display base and the lady in john lewis said by the time i need the pearl it would of dropped alot in price.

And njp like mellie..i think i will be in and out of the car with the pram...will look out for evo when we are next out shopping...

So random purchase ofthe day for me was a lobster phil and ted highchair. Bit early i know, but as we only have a kutchen bar to eat off and little space i think they are perfect. Typically they are £75, which is too much for a highchair but saw it on offer for £45 so grabbed it!

So i have a years wardrobe of clothes, a maxi cosi base and a highchair...oh and a maxi cosi footmuff! Lets hope baby doesnt come early..i am so ill prepared.

On a more positive note, now im in bed, baby is moving around alot which is reassuring after a couple of quiet days.

Night night...thanks for being hear girls!

Oh Kaa thanks for your sweet comments, they put a smile on my face...

I have got in touch with my local child centre and planning to rent breast pump and tens machine, so much cheaper than buying or hiring from boots. I just google my home town and breast pump hire.

Im sure someone was saying tommee tippie sterlasier was on sale on amazon this week at £22!

I feel a lot bigger this time and we go on holiday next month when I'm 33 weeks (can't believe were in August now!) I was going to leave the baby stuff until after the holiday but would be nice to come home to it all set up and then just be able to relax and get as much time as possible with my DD I literally have to buy just bits like nappies and wipes and we get Asda shopping delivered so won't be to hard! We've saved so much money on buying early on and not rushing! Think the sterilising set we bought should of been £150 and it was £60 so can't complain!

Hope you feel better soon Applecrumble! enjoy your holiday hunny!

I'm officially in tri 3 now! :D

Happy tri 3 day katie hehe xx

Apple did u speak to ur mw about ur feelings??? Thanks for the info on steriliser will have a look!! :)

Maybe a holiday is just what u need huni. I think im very lucky as its summer hols being a teacher and so i dont have to cope with work anymore which is great as it was getting difficult with feeling sick headaches and exhaustion stupid anaemia!!

I worried i was getting too much too soon but like i said with me finishing my job we had no other choice really than to be extremely prepared. However i still dont feel it!! Ha xx

No every night when im in tears i resolve that i should speak to someone and then wake up feeling ok...i think i whats putting me off is that I know what they will say... Its what your guys said..every bump is healthy and try and eat healthy...

Staying at my mums tonight looking forward to getting some mum sympathy...(although she will struggle not to comment on the size of my bump) although i guess she is allowed.

You're prob just carrying more fluid than others, its hard not to worry though when you dont really know whats happening.
We're going to get our 2 way pearl next year at the baby show, nearly got it this year but as it was only about £10 cheaper because its still so new I thought no I'll wait until next year then hopefully it'll be even less :) you got a great bargain on your base, we got ours slightly cheaper because of the baby show but no where near as cheap as yours!

Apple, hope the holiday takes your mind off things. Also, I hope the weather is better than where I'm going! I'm off to Wales next week and every single day has black rain clouds on the forecast.

I'm glad I've bought bits early, despite DW's opinion. I haven't bought for the sake of buying, just things when they're on offer. Might as well get the discounts when they're there.

No opinions on monitors, I have to get a specific one because I need a vibrating pad in the pillow because I won't hear the baby when I'm asleep. I have significant hearing loss but use hearing aids during the day.

I am in a lot of pain today, the suspected SPD is quite bad from being busy for a few days. So I've put myself on bedrest for the day. Walking to the bathroom is painful, I have to hold onto bannisters and walls and stuff to get there. Getting out of bed is very difficult too. Unfortunately, lying in bed is giving me backache now! Might relocate to the couch.

Apple i need to see another bump pic huni coz i bet its same as mine now! Even if u feel ok next day u need to tell ur mw she may be able to help.or reassure u more than we can.

Yeh thats a specific need then chick think we just getting audio think if i got video ones id turn into a right neurotic mess of a mother!!!
Go to see mw about ur suspevted spd dont suffer through it :-/ xx

Oh mellie... do you think the 2 way pearl will be significantly cheaper at the show? I got our base £100 reduced from £175, from John lewis. so chuffed (i think I must of mentioned that on here more than once)

So I guess I can not moan and not show... So just gone into the bathroom at work to take photo... I seem to be wearing the same dress I wore last time I posted. (I have a lack of clothes). will post in a sec.

I also have just paid for a nursery set from Mamas and papas. Havent seen it yet we are going to look at it next weekend, however there sale ends this weekend. So decided to order it (to secure price) and can always cancel if we decide to go for another one.

Its between these:

Yeah, I've got an appointment in a week and a half, going away between then so don't really have a chance to see her first. I'm hoping it'll settle a bit over the weekend if I take it easy.

The monitor I have to get has video on it but I wouldn't have chosen to have it either, though i suppose in my situation it could be useful. I feel the same as you, it'll be too much info! I didn't want one of those ones that alert you if the baby's breathing pattern alters either, I felt like it would be too easy for me to obsess over stuff like that.
