*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

I wonder how long Asda's sale lasts for. I'm not really buying much until after my 20 week scan on the 4th of July. The September one will be good, nice timing.

It is roasting here today. The only clothes I own that fit are thick trackie bottoms, black leggings and black jeans, they're all far too warm for nice weather. Going to have to start thinking about padding out my maternity wardrobe. Payday on Tuesday, so will have to see what I can pick up.

Not sure why my phone only posted half a message!

Nicejuicypear were off to wales for a week! Would be nice to get away to relax but I hate travelling especially when I will be 33-34 weeks pregnant!

Asda always seems to have sale on, you're best ordering online though thats what I always do and pick up in store. I tend to get emails when they're starting so if this ones finished by then I'll let you know when they have another :)

I chose black jeans to wear today, it was a terrible choice. No idea why I did as most of my clothes still fit as they do up under where bump is.

I can't stand under bump, as it just gives me a muffin top effect!

I'm also a fan of ordering online and picking up, for biggish things anyway. Sometimes it's nice to browse. I'm at Asda every other day anyway, so will perhaps have a little nosy around the baby stuff now.

Katie, I like Wales, we often go there for our holidays. I'd like to go to South Wales this year as we've never been, usually do Mid or North Wales. I'm also looking at the Lake District as we've never been together, but not sure on that one. I don't want to travel too far either, as I'm the driver and I'll be about 25 weeks when we go.

Think it's called Dyffryn Ardudwy - not far from Barmouth which has a lovely beach! Haven't been since I was kid! Gonna take the dog as well as the cottage has a lovely big garden for her to run riot and a nice little sand pit for myah to play!

Was moaning to hubby that I didn't wanna be sat there all week bored but I can't see me doing much walking so far into pregnancy haha!

Only problem with asda is a lot of it is gender specific. But once you find out you'll be able to go crazy at the next sale they have.

We're off in August, need to try and go away somewhere for a bit. We was going to go camping because the dog would love it. But I don't reckon my back will when I'm bigger!

I originally wanted to go back to the place we went on honeymoon! It was lovely and quiet, had a log fire and everything! Would give birth there if I could - didn't wanna come home when we stayed! only a 2 hour drive as well! But looks like that will have to be next year instead!

If I'm right asda have the baby events quite a few times in the year - think we should be due 1 end of July and then October ish? I could be wrong!

We went to a place near Maccynellth (sp?) a couple of years ago, it was a fantastic cottage but it has since been sold and is no longer a holiday place to rent, such a shame. I was thinking of somewhere like Tenby this time. Barmouth is nice, only been once though, that was in winter!

No way am I camping - it was suggested that we go with my sisters in law but noooo. I want four solid walls and a mattress. Cottage, house, caravan, I don't care but I'm not sleeping under canvas this year!

Mellie, I went to Marks & Spencers yesterday and had a quick look at the baby section. The newborn stuff was half a wall of pink, half a wall of blue with the odd cream thing in the middle, really irritated me. There was nothing else at all for tiny babies, heaven forbid they should be put into anything except the one colour of their gender!

I know marks amd Spencer near me is terrible too. All the stuff was horrible baby blue or pink stuff. Not a fan of baby blue, baby has got mainly bright colours so far.
I honestly don't know how people stay team yellow, there seems to be such little choice everywhere.

Asda do have baby events on ALLLL the time, the last one was only about a month ago but I imagine there will be another one soon enough.

Think I need to look into going away august, just need to find somewhere cheap and cheerful thats nice rain or shine. Oh and thats dog friendly, we'll see.

My boyfriend is currently givinh me a foot rub. Practicing for when baby is bigger :)

Nicejuicypear - yes that's not far from were we are heading! Love wales but struggle to pronounce or spell the places haha! I know i went barmouth as a baby & then again when i was around 13 and it was always lovely fingers crossed its still the same! some places can go downhill after a few years! Ive only been abroad once and will never do it again!

Dont think ive ever been camping! im funny about sleeping in different places! Have you thought of looking into log cabins? they are lovely! Ive only ever been in one once but would definitely recommend it!

Mellie - Ive never even thought to look in marks and spencers for clothes - if anybody has a good experiences please let me know.

I ordered my daughters 2nd birthday cake online from there and went to collect it the day before her birthday to then be told when i got in store (no email or call before) its not ready and it wont be ready or personalized! was then told to go and look on the shop floor at the cakes and they were all boys cakes :/ Didn't enjoy running around like an idiot to find a personalized cake in time!

surprised at how cheap are holiday is - think its around £500 for me, hubby, myah, my dad & 2 dogs for the week :) Hope its worth the 3 hour drive!

I think asda events are every 3 months - i usually get a letter through a couple of weeks before with all the offers so will let everyone know when i get it! I love shopping at asda for baby stuff! the clothes wash really well & we got our moses basket for £20, im hoping to buy a 2nd one when its on again :D

I only looked in marks because my mom got some really nice things from there when my niece was born. Think she must have ordered them online though as our local store has a poor selection.

Thats a horrible experience, did you complain to head office? I would have gone crazy!

I'm hoping asda has the moses basket on offer again too. We got given one but the straps are a bit frayed so it would be fine for keeping in one place but we were planning on moving baby up/down stairs if he's still sleeping in it. Plus it needs a new mattress so would probably just work out cheaper getting the asda one. Plus I quite like the teddy design it has on it :)

Hi girls

Mellie... im pretty sure the Next sale starts on 19th July! Im a big fan of the sales... can not wait this will be my first sale with a gender...im going to go crazy! John lewis clearence (not best sale) starts 26th June!

Im pretty sure I felt the baby move this morning... so pleased... after 4 days of nothing such a relief!

I got a moses basket and jumperoo set yesterday off my best friend... which is great! good job we are moving as the jumperoo takes up most of the space in the living room!

This time tomorrow I will know the gender of my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh the 19th July, I hope so im off that weekend too. Plus most of us should know genders by then so we can all go crazy! (As long as none of you go crazy in the same store as me! Haha)

haha mellie, that made me chuckle.. the thought of us all fighting over baby clothes at 6am in the morning over baby clothes!

Yes I will be getting up stupidly early to get the bargins... I think they open at 5 am so mayeven get up then... I love a sale!

I've never done the next sale before. I love bargains but its the thought of people queuing overnight that puts me off.
I hope the sales online too if it is I'll just order things on there. I much prefer sales from the comfort of my sofa. :)

I have never got on well with next sale online...

John lewis I got some great baby clothes in there sale online.. and Gap is good online (assuming you get vouchers off as well) Gap for some reason online is more expensive than in store. so you need vouchers to offset!
