*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Ahh that's gorgeous, there's so many cute girls clothes out there. In a way I'm glad I'm not having one as I think I'd be bankrupt by the end of it!

Just been to see my daddy, he's disabled so is currently stuck in bed all the time. He has carers coming round daily to help him, as it's too much for me and my brother to do. Anyway, one of his carers had a baby a few years ago, hers was a girl though so she'd sorted out all the neutral things and left them for me. Wasn't expecting much, as I don't think I've ever met her. But it was a full bin bag full of goodies. Blankets, toys, loads of clothes and a sun shade. Some really nice stuff in there. Cannot believe how fortunate we have been, think I must have gotten pregnant at just the right time. :)

Yes complained to head office Mellie and they sent an apology to myah, a rag doll teddy and a puzzle for her as a good will gesture! Think I'll stick to an asda birthday cake in future though!

Had a crap day today! Kept tossing and turning all night and waking up for a drink then finally woke up at 5.30am with a terrible headache and a nasty temp! Thankfully hubby kept an eye on my temp and cooled me down before heading to work. I went back to sleep on the sofa at 8am and didn't wake until 1.30pm! No idea why I'm feeling so tired when my iron tabs have been upped :-/

Got a fun filled July with apps here and there! Get to see PJ again in 11 days, antenatal booking app a week later, more blood tests 5 days later and then my midwife a week after that! Seem to be getting no peace in this pregnancy haha!

Atleast I had this little fur ball keeping me company this morning

Ahh he's gorgeous, must remember to show my OH your pooch later. German Shepherds are his favourite breed, he goes all soppy whenever he sees one!!

Was going to say how good Asdas cakes are, especially the photo ones they do now they seem to come out really well.

Yeah we bought her the asda photo cake & so pleased with it! Tasted lovely too!

Amber's my big fluff ball! Puts a smile on my face every morning - surprising how big shes got too! I remember my dad had a German shepherd and unfortunately the dog passed when i was young but hes shown me videos off him guarding me in my moses basket! Hopefully amber will do the same when PJ arrives! Don't know how anybody can call them a dangerous breed especially around kids when shes such a softy and loves playing with my daughter!

Hers a couple of photos of her growing up so far! Shes getting so big to say shes only 4 month old today!

We were thinking of getting a second dog before I got pregnant, everytime we looked round the rehoming centres my boyfriend always went straight for them. They were a little big for our house considering we already have one dog and we couldn't find an appropriate dog for us, then I got my BFP so we've postponed it! We probably would have got one for our first dog, but we kind of accidentally fell in love with ours when we were visiting an RSPCA centre for a totally different reason.

People just read the press too much, that's the problem. Plus a few irresponsible dog owners ruin it for the rest of us. We have it worse with our dog because he is a staffy cross, fortunately he's harmless and just wants to play with everyone. It's very annoying when we're in public though and people cross the street to avoid him. I can tell instantly if a dog is friendly or not. You can see it in their face, and their tail normally!

Anyway need to get off my doggy soap box! My OH had a German Shepherd when he was younger, think that's why he loves them so much. I hope my dog will be protective of the baby, his only problem is his clumsiness, he's good with all children in the family but that's because they're all old enough to play with. There's one baby, and he tends to have a little sniff at first then avoid her because he doesn't like the crying.

Is that the asda cake? That's even nicer than some of the other ones I've seen! Definitely a bargain, better than the one you'd have got from Marks and Spencer.

Well we currently live in a small house with only 2 bedrooms etc so our house isn't exactly big, there's me, hubby, myah, 2 cats, my dads jack Russell and now our German shep so room isn't a problem! i have always moaned at hubby to get me a German shep but he never liked them and he wanted a bull mastiff - eventually a year down the line i won the argument and he got me amber. Safe to say he fell in love more than me :D If i had more room i would probably own another 1.

i know exactly what you mean about the breeds and owners! When we took the dogs out for a run my dad was petrified because he seen a staff that was off lead and kept saying he wanted to take his dog home in case something happened but that's because our old dog was bitten by 2 staffs years ago - we told him not to worry and safe to say nothing happened to my dads jack Russell and we just took them on a diff field to stop him panicking. Any breed can be nasty.. so far when ive walked amber she was pinned down by my mils shih zsu and a Labrador growled at her. So much for my dog being the dangerous breed!

i did have to tell a child off the other day because he legged it across the road and straight away put his hand to her mouth to stroke her.. with me not having her for long i dont know how she could react so i told him he should of asked whether she was friendly beforehand.. fair enough if an adult does that - that's there own stupidity if something happened but i dont want to have my dog taken away for biting a child when its not her fault.. luckily enough shes is extremely friendly and loves a good stroke from anybody but would rather not take the risk!

& yes thats the cake! Will defo be buying another this year! :D

Hey girls well I survived cub camp...thankfully!!
Hips are sore still from sleeping on the ground and am exhausted but was well worth it. Just 3 weeks and 3 days left of work anyway can't wait!!

I'm struggling For clothes coz we are team yellow and nowhere does neutral anymore really. even next only had a tiny stand :-/

My friend brought a load of neutral stuff round other week and hubby and I sifted through and picked out ones we liked the most and were hardly worn. They're only baby grows and vests. I don't want second hand clothes for our baby but we said we would use them as sleep wear and only have them in New stuff in day. Coz doesn't really matter what they sleep in especially if have to change them during the night.

Don't like sales as can't be bothered searching and ppl really annoy me I get trolley rage in supermarkets that's why I never push them round I just speed off getting stuff n throw it in ha.
I'm the kind of person to walk in a shop turn my head and if nothing jumps out at me I will just leave. I'm a terrible shopper should have been a bloke ha!!

We have Rocky off lead as soon as we get to the park, but if we notice any other dogs in the area we keep a very close eye on him. Partly because you never know what other dogs can be like, and partly because I wouldn't want a random dog running up to me. He is well trained though, he just really likes to play and he assumes every dog wants to play with him! If we ever put our hand in his mouth he just spits it back out, it's so funny.

Kaa, Glad camp went well, do not envy you having to sleep on the floor! I was going to suggest Next, as my local one seemed to have lots. The Asda near me had a surprisingly large selection of team yellow too. I'm sure years ago because people could find out, shops must have sold more neutral things. The selections I've seen do seem quite poor really. Your best bet is probably online.

Omg I'm on cloud 9. My scan was amazing. The lady was awesome she explained every last detail to us we were in there for ages. Piper was playing up to the "cameras" she was sucking on her little toes and we even caught her having a big yawn. It was such amazing bonding time with my girl. I'm so much in love.
Does anyone know any site others than photobucket were I can get codes for my pics my pb won't work and is annoying I wanna share my pics.

Aw bless Mellie! I'm the same with amber - I've taken her off lead a few times and she's stayed by my side. Did have a shouting match with someone in the park (most people use this area to walk there dogs aswell) anyway amber jumped up being all friendly and this woman starts screaming at me to control the dog so we said she's in training and she's a pup! Woman starts mouthing off saying I should train her better.. Sorry but if you don't like dogs then don't walk through a dog area! So haven't really taken her off lead much since.

Kaa I'm the same when it comes to shopping! Id rather do the food shop online and buy anything from eBay mainly.. Hate queues and people shoving and walking into you! Especially whilst pregnant!

Chaz glad your scan was good! Have you tried downloading tapatalk for your mobile? It links this forum to the app so you can upload photos easier

Chaz glad it went well. Sounds like a lovely day! Congrats

Pheonix...that is such a pretty dress....for some reason I can not see yours pics at work computer so couldnt comment.

Kaa glad you had a fun weekend!

It just bugs me coz I'm a very blue person it's my fave colour and I wear it the most. I don't want to have all blue if boy and pink if girl. :-/

Will just have to shop around a bit more I think or just get stuck with very plain white baby grows until baby born.

Chaz that's amazing presume this was private one u had ??
Can't wait to see pics. When did u decide on the name piper?? Cute! :) xx

Hope it worked. My faves are the one sucking her toes and her little feet together.

It was my 20 week NHS scan kaa. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was.

Wow you did have a good nhs scan. Most of the experiences I've heard have been a lot lesa enjoyable. Hope mine is half as good as yours! :)

She was amazing. Such a lovely lady. She asked us if we wanted to find out and we said we knew from the 16 week scan. And she said "don't tell me and We will see if it's the same" thankfully it was lol. Never expected it to be as good. Usually they just say this is the head and do what they need to with measurements but she explained all the parts of the brain. Counted the fingers and toes with us looked at her face on which is the spooky looking pic lol. I wish we could of filmed it. The yawning was my fave bit so bloody cute.

Ahhh how lovely, great pics. Mine is nhs tomorrow, but with a consultant so probably not as nice!

That's amazing huni, I didn't even get to see anything until the end when she showed the baby's back and then it's front and then shooed me out, didn't go through anything and didn't answer my question about anterior placenta or try to explain it or reassure me in anyway, spent the afternoon stressed and crying completely shitty experience, got one crap pic didn't get to choose and they wanted 3 quid for it! The two mw moaned the whole time I was in there about having to work double shifts all day! I defo got a bum deal :(

So glad u had a fab experience I'm made up for u huni, I'm thinking if it's worth a private scan now just so I can hear hb and feel like I'm actually bonding with my baby but I don't want to risk getting a flash of anything from baby and don't really like the 3d ones xx

Bet ur so excited for tomorrow apple best of luck hope u have a fab experience too huni xx

Brilliant photos chaz! I enjoyed my 20 week scan as well! was lay there for a good 30 mins watching him bounce around! Counting down the days until we see him again!

Kaa id defo go for a private scan you get much more time! Just tell you them you want to stay team yellow and if they see anything to move away quickly haha! X
