*** November 2014 Mummies! ***

Aw no haha, have something else instead and buy sachets of soup next time haha. Sorry shouldn't laugh hope u manage to get something in u though!

I'm really struggling to breathe at the min started about 10 past 6 when waiting for my mate pick me up, been to our other mates for a bit n just got home now, still feel dreadful like heavy weight on chest so only managing small breaths of air in and out, had a squirt of my nasal spray (for hay fever) incase it's related to that, hubby thinks it's exhaustion as he sometimes gets same feelings but it is awful I really feel like my chest and throat are closing up, hope this is ok and nothing serious?! Xx

That sounds like when I have an asthma attack. I'm lazy about getting new inhalers so sometimes I have to manage without so what I do is force deep long breaths in and out. It feels impossible to start with but sometimes it does help. Lie still and focus on the deep breathing & try toimagine your heart rate slowing to match.

If it keeps up, get it seen to though, not worth risking.

My boyfriend laughed too when I told him. Just hope it eases off once baby is here, dont want to be stuck with it forever.

Sorry, I have no idea about that. My advice would be to just try and have a nice long sleep tonight and see if its eased off in the morning. If not go and get checked out.

Happy 19 weeks nicejuicypear! Only 21 more left for us. Cannot wait!! :)

Yes Mellie were starting to turn the November thread into a doggy thread haha!

Hope you feel better soon kaa! I get breathless but that's just because baby's started to stretch into my ribs! Don't know how I'm gonna cope for another 18 weeks!

Thanks girls putting it down to hay fever was horrible though and now I'm more exhausted than ever :(

Half way through pg today!! Just hope this baby starts wriggling enough for me to feel it soon xx

Hi ladies...I was completely shattered yesterday after scan, i think its the emotion of it all amd stress of wanting to know baby is healthy. In fact i am generally am starting to notice a difference in my energy and fitness levels alleound. Is anyone else seeing this change.

Im exhausted all the time now! People keep telling me I'll get my energy back, but I can't even walk up the stairs at work anymore without having to have a little rest at the top.

Before both if my scans so far I've been stressed, haven't been able to stop shaking before them. Hope I'm not the same next week for my 20 week scan.

I'm definitely more worn out! I used to be able to do a full house clean top to bottom in an hour and now it takes me a day :-/ xx

Writing our baby name shortlist. 5 names on there at the moment, and they all seem to be related to tv shows/actors!
Naming a child is hard!!

Yes we were on the names last night.... have a shortlist... will post later as good have peoples input!

You will soon find the perfect name :-)

May not be on much for next few days - got a message this morning to tell me my nan had been taking to hospital so been sat up there most of the day, not a good day especially whilst hormonal! X

Yes I too am exhausted doesn't help being anaemic but definitely short of breath going upstairs or doing something of the more menial tasks!!

Ooh share ur name choices Apple lets see what u got. :)

Oh Katie I hope she is ok huni will keep her in my prayers xxxx

Oh no thats horrible news, hope all is ok and she recovers well. My dad has an operation next week so think I'll be up my local hospital loads too.

I brought a baby name book today, thought it might give me some inspiration. Although most of the names were boring. Think baby is going to be nameless until I have him in my arms!

So heres our list. (no particular order) (brackets what could be shortened to)

Antonia Barclay (Tia?)
Freya Barclay
Jessica Barclay (Jess)
Eleanor Barclay (Elle)
Elizabeth Barclay (lots of shorterning options)
Laura Barclay
Zoe Barclay

Happy for thoughts, opinions.

Its funny how I wouldnt dream of sharing that with friends and family... but so easy on forum!

It's a hard one.. She's 87 & she was found on the floor of her sheltered flat by a carer this morning.. She's had a medium-severe stroke.. The 3rd one in her life.. When I got to a&e she looked lifeless but slowly picked up she can't move the right side of her body, can only mumble no & what but when my dad arrived she gripped and stroked his hand! Waiting to see what the next 24 hours holds :-/ don't know what id do if the worst happened.. She helped look after me when my mum passed away so she was pretty much my second mum and I hoped she would get to meet her first great grandson xx

They're all pretty names. Think Antonia and Freya are my favourites.

We have Jesse on our list for a boy. Only thing putting me off it is that people may assume hes a girl if they just see the name written down.

Lovely Apple. Are u planning on second names too I know some ppl have tradition where names of ppl in family are used my fam do that.

Katie hopefully she will pick up and be able to meet baby pj.

Mellie don't worry about other ppl go with what u want! Xx

87 is a good age, hopefully she can recover. With strokes time tends to be the only way to tell. At least she recognises you all that's one good thing. Hopefully her speach will pick up by tomorrow.
