Aw hopefully they do sleep through! Night feeds are so draining! Hubby can't do night feeds with all the tablets he takes he just sleeps right through so I'm dreading night feeds as well as getting up early with my daughter! I would of loved her to be in our room longer but we just didn't have the room and didn't want the tv to be waking her up - safe to say I did the right thing though as she's slept through ever since even whilst changing her room around, putting her in a toddler bed and teething! You always hear these stories of kids still not sleeping through at 2 years old so I'm so grateful that shes a good sleeper! Xx

One of my things about making the nursery is I want to co-sleep?! Until the baby doesn't want to any more? So what's the point in doing a nursery (other than it being cute?!)

I'm planning to keep the baby with me for as long as I have a lot of night feeds, once they taper off I'll move it into the nursery. But I'm going to have it lying/napping/playing in the nursery sometimes from the start, so it becomes familiar with the feel of the room, so that's why I want my nursery sorted early on.

Babyphoenix I found I made all the effort of doing the nursery so early on that myah still didn't go into the nursery until 2 months old - in fact we used it as a Christmas present storage room! everything we did was in our room our downstairs so think that's why we ran outta room as the Moses basket we had was this huge german basket on wheels and this time we have a bigger bed so can't even use the Moses basket we had with myah my health visitor wasn't happy with my decision of moving her into her own room but then again she wasn't happy with any decision I made :-/

Sorry for being AWOL girls. Trying to get the decorating started. We have the whole house to do before nov. Starting with the living room. Absolute mayhem with 4 kids lol. Especially since this house has about 500 layers of old nasty wallpaper to peel back. It's took us all day to strip one wall lol. I'll catch up tonight when kids are in bed and I've a nice cold glass of cold shloer in my hand lol.

Caught myself in the mirror once I took my work uniform off tonight and there is definitely a bump starting!! I'm becoming really obsessed/worried that baby isn't growing enough because I haven't got much of a bump yet. Plus I feel like a fraud at work when I keep using the excuse "sorry, cant do that, I'm pregnant!" haha

Chaz, are the kids mucking in? Mine were a bit older but they loved pulling paper off the walls! Don't envy you doing the whole house, we did ours when we moved in and I'm so glad it's all done now.

Mellie, my bump is showing but a lot of it is my layer of fat being pushed out and it just looks like I've eaten too many Maccies.

I went to the seaside today and had the best fish and chips I'd had in ages, they were so delicious.

Yes I want to use the nursery too for bath times and changes into sleepsuits etc. Plus it's a lovely room so I'd like to be in it more anyway!!
That's great Katie. I'm dreading the mw and health visitors being awkward about breastfeeding. I'm quite prude with my boobs so I would hate them grabbing n moving them n watching me I'd be like stop looking at me haha. Silly I know but I also dread a baby coming out of my lady parts can't be alone in that right?!?! Xx

Haha, Kaa, I'm not like that at all really. I've had IVF and miscarriage treatments and I used to be shy about my bits but after all that, having a team of people staring up your woodle doesn't faze me at all. It used to though, I refused to go for smears for years, only going because my first clinic made me.

As for boobs, hopefully they will be respectful of people's opinions and only interfere as much as they need - or at least make you feel as comfortable as possible about doing it.

I visited a new mum the other day and at first she was careful to cover up when feeding in front of me, but I made a point of not looking at her when she was doing it and after an hour or so she was just flopping her boob out without bothering to cover up - I think you get used to it.

I dread to think what my 13 year old step son is going to make of me flopping my boobs out to feed all the time!

Hubby came home tonight with a football top that said "I love England" his excuse was that baby PJ can't have anything to do with the World Cup because he's not here so I've to dress my bump in this for him! Found it rather cute! Soon as I put it on he said omg you've got a bump! I said really I just feel so fat? So he started taking photos for me! Haha never seen him excited so much - now that baby's poking out a little he's getting more excited about having a son and rubbing the bump!

Usually health visitors are all for breastfeeding! I wanted to breastfeed but myah just wouldn't latch on and I didn't want to force it so I used bottle! But I got looked down at by the health visitor and every visit she still asked had I got the hang of it yet! At the end of the day what does it matter whether I breast or bottle feed as long as she is being fed, putting on weight and happy with it! I would love to be able to do it but it just wasn't for me unfortunately I can't help but feel a lot of the time the health visitor judged me by my age at the time :-/

I never ever wanted to show my bits to any stranger but as soon as I went into labour it all went out of the window so you shouldn't be to bad kaa!

Aw cute Katie yeh need to just suck it up n get over it I know I know!! Ha.

Woken up with the worst pins n needles I ever had in my left hand and up my arm to elbow n shoulder so painful they were burning and wouldn't go away tried everything. Faded now so hopefully going but panicking incase they come bk :-/ got tv on now coz can't get bk to sleep wtf was all that about?! Xxx

Rant warning...

So my prick of a husband is Sat here moaning and having a go at me coz I don't have sex with him every time he clicks his fingers!! I mean wtf I been ill all way through so far so shoot me for not wanting to lay there n take it everyday in between being sick. So annoyed right now. N to top it off he went n bought some cigs n so I said ok then give me one too. (Had no intention of having it coz I quit the minute I got pg n haven't been tempted since) he said u really going to smoke that when ur pregnant. I said oh so it's ok for u when u have been diagnosed (4 years ago n clear now) of throat cancer!! Knob head!!! Anyway just generally annoyed. Plus he wouldn't give me a massage this morning n been in agony with pains aches n had horrible pins n needles in arm n hand all night and day :-/
