Ahh chaz they're gorgeous. So many pretty things for girls, although I went in Next yday and they actually have cute boys clothes too!
Thats a proper little baby bump Katie, I thought I had one....however now I can't remember if my belly has just always been this big. As I definitely just look slightly podgier than normal.

Hi girls, haven't been on for ages, I have been feeling really bad - getting terrible headaches that last for days. They seem to have gone for the time being, hope they stay away now.

Mellie, I'm like that, i can't decide if I have a bump any more because I can't remember if I always just looked this podgy!

As for kicks - I felt some kicks last week, little flutters low down just above my pubic bone. They happened twice close together but I've felt nothing since. I keep getting worried that it means something has happened to the baby. I'm almost tempted to get a doppler, even though I said I wouldn't.

Mellie have a go at lying down flat and if it's hard it's definitely baby! Hubby was fascinated that he could feel baby sticking out but the strangest thing was he moved onto the other side and stuck out and I didn't feel a thing! But Hubby thought he could feel baby move so hopefully won't be long until he's kicking

When I need a wee I can feel it, because I assume my bladder pushes it up a bit. In the morning my tummy is huge! The rest of the time not so much! I want a proper bump, doesn't feel as if there's actually a baby in there at the moment.

Announced our baby girl's name on Facebook tonight, everyone seems to like it We were going to keep it a secret until birth just because I know what can happen if you announce names early but just went with it and glad to have no more secrets now.

Thanks Katie, I'm much better today.

My tummy is huge in the evening, I just had to take my leggings off after dinner and put trackies on as even leggings were digging in.

Has anyone started needing a wee but not doing much? I don't think it's a water infection type thing, I think just sometimes the uterus is pressing on the bladder as it only happens occasionally. And I drank so much water for my headaches that there's no way an infection could have taken hold.

Babyphoenix, at least it's out there early and no-one can steal it and feign ignorance. I have no idea about names, not even thinking of that yet. Will be waiting until gender is known.

We had this name picked out weeks before we knew, I just hoped she was a girl so we could use it as I don't want any more children and I didn't have any boys names and I just loved this name so much!! haha

I have worked with so many children over the years, so many names are associated with them that it'll be hard to sift through the prejudices attached to some of the names - certain names are just the mark of a naughty boy or gobby girl!

Yes your bladder will push it up Mellie! I feel my boy around near my belly button when he's poking out.. I thought he'd be higher up haha! And I still felt flabby at 40 weeks!

Nicejuicypear I'm finding I'm always needing a wee more at night! I can hold it in for hours in the day but soon as I get in bed I'm running back and forth haha!

Hey ladies. Hope you're all well.
Spent the whole of yesterday clearing out the whole house and as a result our spare room has now been transformed from dumping ground to nursery not finished yet of course but made a start at least. 3 more paydays left so got to get and do as much as we can whilst we have two wages coming in!!

I've had that too NJP were I've needed a wee and not much comes out. Frustrating but I'm also the same in that my headaches have been so severe I've done nothing but drink!! Ha.

Found a couple names I can't associate with school yet yay!! Sticking with those for now I think. Hope u manage to find a couple soon too.

Well done on getting the spare room sorted, Kaa. Ours is still full, and it needs a course of mould removal as we had a leaky roof/damp problem last year that wasn't discovered behind the junk for ages. I've been waiting to see if it's been resolved and I think it has, no more mould but I want it coated again just to be sure. I am going to have a jungle/zoo animals type theme, but haven't picked out any actual things for it yet.

Sorry to hear you've still been having headaches too, Kaa, hope they clear up soon.

Katie, I'm fine during the night now, it's daytime for me. When there's pressure on my bladder but also when I go out, I go before I leave the house but need to go as soon as I get somewhere, I think that one is psychological.

Headachey today, but I had a poor night's sleep so hopefully it's just that and not another big one. It's the last day of my week off and I want to enjoy it.

I tried to clear out what will be the nursery but im running out of places to put things. Plus I've got to wair for OH to move the wardrobe out if there.
I've been getting headaches too, paracetamol are my best friend recently! And my morning sickness still hasn't stopped its not fair!

Wish we had another room for baby to make a nursery but he's gonna have to share with his sister! Hope he doesn't mind having a purple, pink and blue room!

We did my daughters room green and white with a family tree on the wall (me and hubby did the tree with our hands and even put the dog and cats paw prints in the tree) but soon as I found out she was a girl I ended up painting in pink when she was 6 months old! Can't seem to keep my mind up with her room!

Yeh well since the mice incident we needed have a huge clear put anyway n with only 3 more paydays for me figured if we make a start now we will know what we still need to get before I finish work so we not struggling buy stuff later on!

Mellie feel ur pain I still feel rotten I have a docs appt today to discuss headaches n blurred vision n dizzy feeling after eating. What's the point in mw if she then telling me to see bloody doc rather than just giving advice.

Yes that's true! I managed to get myah sleeping through and in her own bedroom when she was 8 weeks old - don't think myah would like an 8 week old baby in her room this time though haha xx

I'm moving into a new house on 25th of June and the owners are good friends of mine, there is an office upstairs next to the master bedroom which we have been given the ok to take the desk out of and turn it into a nursery! Xx

Ooh that's great new home and a nursery yay. It's all so exciting. Must admit had a little peep into our nursery this morning and just can't believe we finally have a baby's room and a real baby on the way eek!! Haha xxx
