LOL i do this

I read everything then I post something totally unrelated as my brain can't keep up, us November mummies are so talkative! xx

Jeez this thread moves quick!
I didn't get any stretch marks during pregnancy, I was all bump! But I've got a couple once my bump shrank?! Plenty bio oil though and they'll soon go, I need to start sit ups to get rid of the last of the jelly :)

Kerrie...sorry to hear the jabs didn't go so well. Ill need to hope oh is off work otherwise I need to go alone!

Oh came in from work and took over the nighttime routine, and guess what..Madison is spark out in her crib! She wouldn't do that for me lol

Lol wow iv had to read 3 pages and i was only on yesterday lol!!

My bump was small :( i had really bad sickness for around 6 months so i lost alot of weight. I weighed myself the day i got home for the hospital and i weighed less than i did before i was pregnant lol! I was very lucky really! I thought i had got away with no strech marks but i found them hidden a few days after i gave birth right at the top of my fairy! lol

I gave ella a dummi last night for the first time. Im fed up of the times between 11-3am when she wide awake for atleast 3 hours, every night no matter what i do she wont sleep. last night i fed her at 11 and she was still up at 2.30 and she wont settle she will cry even if im holding her. Its so frustrating when i know theres nothing wrong with her. The dummy really settled her and for the first time she slept for 4 hours both times, i think she may have been using the bottle for comfort sucking.

Does anyone else find there LO's feed more before bed? I noticed she was finishing her normal 150mls and routing for more and iv been having to go and make her top ups so i did her 180 and she had it all then 2 hours later she had another 90! I know im in for a shock when shes next weighed.

I went to traybarns for an all you can eat buffet today, iv never been before but im stuffed now lol, was nice to go out and enjoy time with OH and el. She slept the whole time though.

I have stretch marks at the top of my foof as well, I only found out a few weeks ago as I hadn't seen down there for aaages lol.

I haven't noticed Cathy eating any more before bed but maybe that's because she never sleeps very long. Am.a bit worried about her today she has only had 16.5oz all day (from midnight last night) :( she's waking up for food now tho xx

wilson- im on facebook feel free to add me any one my name is ruth fozard
xxx

I can't keep up and I was on half an hour ago LOL!

James just projectile vomited his whole feed.

I was in tears, OH was rooted to the spot. James rarely possets so this was a shock.

He seems fine but I'll try him with a little milk a bit later once his tummy has settled.

xxxxxx

Do you mind if I add you Ruth? I'm Sally Kay Clark if anyone wants to add me its easier sharing pics hehe :)

Oh no Nat hope he's ok :( wonder what's wrong with him you've told us how much he likes his food! So not like him to throw it up xx

Sometimes it can just be trapped wind!

He's jsut had 4oz and OH is putting him to bed (and staying in there with him to make sure he's OK!)

I'll go off to bed soon and keep an eye on him

xxxxxxxxx

Oh yes that makes sense - like when Cathy had wind and tried to poo and fart at the same time, cue projectile poo! xx

Oh dear Nat are you ok? I'm yet to experience this, my mum did tell me that it always looks more than it is? Not sure how that works mind you.

My routine isn't going so well, the little lady is napping for about 20-30mins then crying to be fed or entertained :( I'm too soft to let her cry herself to sleep, I'll just keep at the bath feed bed and see how we go, she might clock on eventually :)

Looking forward to my baby sensory class tomorrow :) is anyone else going to groos/classes? X

Massan the day he was born, I need to find some smaller images of him now and I will post.

Don't worry mrswoody, you aren't supposed to let them cry anyway - Cathy makes little noises but its only if she's full on crying I'll go to her iykwim? I'd love to go to some groups etc just haven't quite got around to it yet :/ let us know how yours go though and I might get off my bum! Xx

are u ladies feeding them the full whack then winding or are u goving 2oz then wind, then carry on another 2oz?

how long after was it yr lady bits felt healed? xx

Ok and so this is him today :)

Wilson my lady bits are still healing 7 weeks on! I has 3rd degree tear, stitches popped, then infection and then I had a womb infection that caused trouble and now it's getting slowly better. Hurts now and then.

And I feed Massan full whack then burp as he burps and falls asleep on me when burping, he likes it. Relaxes him.

Thanks Sally. I know you're right, it's just I'm such an organised person (ok, a perfectionist) and the lack of order really gets to me. I just want to know "this is how to get him to sleep" and for it to work! I know thats not the way it goes though. My friend tonight said to me "ah well, obviously J hasn't read the book yet"

Mrswoody - I've been to a couple of playgroups. One was a bit weird, halfway through the vicar appeared with a guitar and it suddenly turned religious! It's nice to meet other mums though, I have 2 new mummy friends in the village that I have coffee with. They are really supportive and it's good to chat to someone with a LO about the same age as J. I've also booked onto an NCT early days course - it's a series of 5 facilitated group sessions, for mums and babies under 6 months, where you can talk about issues and things like changing relationships. I met the woman who runs it and it sounds fab - really supportive and another way to meet local mums. I'm also going to start going to out local sing and smile group next week - it's a music group for babies. J loves me to sing, so I think he'll like it.

Nat - aww poor James! Even with the reflux, J doesn't vomit. Although once early on, we were really pleased he took his bottle much quicker than usual. I went and changed him and put a new outfit on him, walked downstairs and he vomited over me, himself and the stairs. Later I found dried sick in my hair while I was out at the shops, I missed that bit when cleaning up

Kelly - Massan is gorgeous. He looks like my J - that expression in your avatar is so familiar!

I'm exactly the same l_a I wish babies came with a manual and nothing frustrates me more than when I can't figure out why she's crying - or when I can't get her wind up even though I'm doing all the right things, grr! What your friend said really made me laugh, bless the LOs they don't know they're doing it wrong xx

Massan is absolutely gorgeous Kelly! is it weird to say I love his little socks? Lol xx

When M cries and NOTHING sooths him is the most awful and upsetting thing I have ever ever experienced, I just want to cry with him. But it's heart warming when a hug can calm him down...I feel loved then :) poor things.

And you love his socks? They have little dinosaurs on them too. An Xmas present :) I loved them too if that helps with your concerns of being weird....:good: I also got a kurmit the frog jumper for when he is a bit bigger.....I can't wait to put him in that! Baby clothes are awesome!

I know what you mean, Cathy was whinging in her basket earlier and I looked over the side to see what she was up to and as soon as she saw me she started smiling (still not a proper smile, she's like me I guess she won't smile with teeth/gum lol), I nearly cried with happiness!

They are seriously cool lol! The Kermit jumper sounds amazing, do put a picture on when he's big enough to fit in it. I love Cathy's outfits, she is much, MUCH better dressed than me. In fact I don't think I've bought a single thing for myself since she was born... so I'm still in half my maternity clothes LOL. xx

eww period pains!! forgot what those felt like lol. not half as bad now youve felt contractions.
Im wondering what ellas little game is with mummy. Every single night no matter what i do shes awake at this time for a good few hours, its driving me mad. i gave her a dummy last night which settled her a bit but i dont understand it! got myself a night owl. Im just longing for a decent nights kip
me and ella are going to manchester on wednesday to stay at my friends house for the night. it will be our first sleep over which is scary but im just going to take absolutly everything lol
