**** November 2012 Mummies **** (everyone welcome)

Im hoping ellais going threw a leap as i dont think il manage with this every night! shes just so unsettled all the time. iv had to bring her down again as OH is working 7-5 and she was screaming. i dont think its good that i keep bringing her down as she wont get used to sleeping in the bedroom. and OH insists on having the tv on at night which annoys me as she wont know the difference between day and bedtime!

Im on the couch for the second night in a row and last night it was 6am before i got any sleep!

yawn

I think you're supposed to be having a leap now Ruthie so there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Cathy's being alright tonight, she went down about 9 and has woken at 11 and 1 for feeds but went straight back down with no fuss. For some reason I'm still awake though? Lol. Just sat expressing then might try for some sleep. Really pleased with my supply today, I didn't express for 5 hours but I got 12oz when I did  lol xx

i hope so, she was a perfect little ladie but these past 3 days shes been a challange lol! hopefully she will settle again! Iv just give her the rest of her bottle so i might get a few hours if im lucky

I just managed about 10 mins on the sofa hoping she goes back down after this xx

Spoke too soon she's been up an hour, something always seems to disrupt getting her back down with a minimum of fuss eg she poos or I can't get her wind up. She's just laid in her Moses basket for now though, she whinges a bit every now and then but unless she full on cries I'm not going to her, I feel so awful though like I should be cuddling her! Xx

woohoo arthur went every 3 hrs and woke up very happy xx

Yey i finally managed to figure out how to upload pics! Only taken my 9 months lol

She is lovely Kerrie, so pretty

Sorry to all you ladies that aren't getting much sleep. I would say James was about 5 weeks before we got some decent sleep?

Last night he went down at 10.30pm and didn't wake until 6am!!! He also went back down between 7am - 10am

It does make daytimes very difficult though as he won't sleep much and is so hungry!

What are everyone's plans for tonight??

xxxxx

Olivia slept for 7 hours last night and then woke for milk to go back for another 3. She got up at 9. Thats the best night we have had up to yet but to be fair she is a really good sleeper anyway.

We are staying in just the three of us tonight. We are going to cook and put out some goodies in the kitchen and just nibble on them from late afternoon til bedtime. I suppose like a very mini buffet hehe.
Tbh i am not a big fan on NYE at all and am glad to just stay at home the three of us xxx

We're doing the same hun!

Maybe with a glass or two of champers

James has been sleeping for 3-4 hours since he was teeny but 7,8, 9 hours is a recent development

xxxxxxx

@Wilson - Must be something in the air! After a rocky start, Joe went 5 hours then another 3. He took 150mls each time too!

Does anyones babies play with their tongues?

Olivia always blobs her tongue in and out. It never seems to be in her mouth x

Everyone's LOs are soo cute! And well behaved apparently!

Cathy went back down about half 4 and slept until half 7, I don't care about sleeping through that's such a breakthrough for us! I'm scared tonight won't be as good but I've slept the morning away so I should be ok anyway lol.

Off to the BILs for takeaway tonight, nothing special really. Their little boy is teething and it terrifies me! Xx

Just been to M&S and Waitrose for some party nibbles (maternity pay doesn't kick until next month LOL)

We're popping to the in-laws as SIL and James' cousins are down this evening. Then we're home for a nice, chilled NYE.

xxxxxxxxx

@sallybee - not sure about well behaved - J has his moments! His favourite trick is refusing to settle in his crib at night, despite sleeping well afterwards and going down without a murmur after subsequent feeds. The other night he had me pacing the bedroom from 10 until 1am. Last night was an improvement, he went down at 11:30.

I suspect they all have their good and bad points.

Def something in the air! T went down at 7pm till 12.30, went back down at 1.30am and woke at 5am then again at 8.30am. so not too bad.
Ideally is like him to go through from 11pm till 6.30 am ... That's our wee goal.

We having a quiet.one too.. Think my bro and his gf may pop in for a bit. But other than that.. We having a relaxing evening :-) xx
