The May babies are all still staying put at the moment by the looks at things!

I still can't believe my little boy wasn't even due yet! It's mad to think I could have been waiting until the end of May to be having him is I'd gone over due! Although I always suspected he'd be early and I remember telling my OH at one point I was convinced he'd be an April baby!!

I don't really feel like I have much to report. With this being my second, it feels all very familiar and alarming easy compared to my eldest! Even night feeds are starting to settle down now and for two nights on the row we've actually had a good night from both boys! So OH and I are quitewwell rested!

Hi ladies can I join you?

My little girl Emelia Rose was born on 3rd May at 14:30weighing 8lb 1oz. She was due 24th April

Looking forward to chatting to mummies on this thread, I've got a very twisty baby today and I feel im useless at settling her, currently it's just constant feeding

El1en, is this your first baby? The midwife was telling me today that from about 8 days old they go through a growth spurt, so Emelia could be feeding more because of that. I remember with my first feeling like I could never settle him, I don't think I'm any better with Thomas to be honest, maybe just more confident about what to try to settle him.

I feel like Thomas never gets enough milk at the moment. He's a proper little grazer and I'm wondering if I should wake him more often in the dark to make sure he gets more milk. Any time I do though he just ends up really restless with hicups and spitting up like he's had too much?!

Yes little monkey she's my first baby, which is why I'm such a stress head! I Did wonder if it might be a growth spurt, I know it's super early but I just want some sort of routine, like longer in between feeds. I feel trapped in the house as I think I'm so rubbish at settling her without sticking my boob in her mouth.

Wow your brave if your wanting to wake Thomas during the night to give him more! If Emelia did sleep at night no way would I wake her! Haha. However when I put Emelia back on the boob because she won't settle a couple of times she has got the hiccups and spat up and I wondered if she was completely full
