I’m so sorry you’re still feeling awful, I’m sure it will pass even if it’s later than expected. They say that morning sickness is worse if you’re having a girl, don’t know how accurate that is but maybe that means I am having a boy.

It makes no difference , my friend just had a boy and she had terrible sickness and ended up in hospital.

It's like they say if you prefer sweet foods it's a girl and savoury for boy. I preferred savoury with emily and again this time

I've heard that about the sickness too but I've also heard it about the cravings and Id prefer to have a bag of crisps or chips over chocolate and that's not the norm for me before being pregnant I was chocolate everything - although the only hot drinks I can stomach is horlick or hot chocolate ive completely gone off my cups of tea and I used to be a right tea belly (never liked coffee any way)
Both my cousins who had a girl and boy never suffered with sickness and it seems it's just me in the family to suffer but I've got girlfriends who have been in hospital with it and they turned out to be both girls and boys but as you say it's just a myth
Up at this time feeling shitty heaving headache ear ache and irritated so got a hot chocolate and going to try and settle back down if I can xx

Gosh my boobs don't half hurt today! They've not hurt at all since being pregnant but today ouch! Can't wear a bra so the ladies are hanging loose today haha they feel bigger too which i hope don't get too much bigger as I'm already a d / dd cup xxx
Oh they will get bigger!!!! Maybe not til after the baby is born but trust me they will get bigger then!

In the couple of days after the birth your boobs will fill up and HURT and go really hard!!! It does ease off though....You might or might not be leaky prior to the birth- i was with my first pregnancy but not with my second.
I've started getting little taps of movement sometimes if i'm lying still

Hi ladies trying to catch up on all your posts! Been totally busy with work and so tired still in the evenings I never get a chance to post. Sorry to hear some of you are still suffering with the sickness, I can relate with the boobs ! As soon as I get in doors the bra comes off !!
Had my 16wk app this week got to hear the heartbeat which was lovely ! Still wanting to stay team yellow but we shall see if we cant help ourselves at our next scan.
Got a busy weekend ahead visiting family but Im just so tired ha ! X

you have colostrum when she's born it takes a day or two for the milk proper to come in, no you wont need to bottlefeed its really important to breastfeed in the first few days if humanly possible even if you choose to bottlefeed after, because that colostrum has all the good stuff needed after birth!

Aww thankyou I was wondering wether to buy some formula just in case she won't take breast but I'm guna try my blooming hardest to do it!

Yeah like liz said about the colostrum comes through as soon as baby is born. I had a emergency c section and was unable to feed emily for a few days as she was so poorly so I had to collect the colostrum in a syringe and the nurses fed her through the syringe and the changes of the colours as the days went on was amazing, just before the white coloured milk it was like custard .
I think I bought a couple of little pre made formula you can get just incase but never needed it but your other halves can always go to the shops and get some if you need it . X

Yes holli I have spots on my boobs! And a couple on my face and my hair is do greasy all the time . I defiently haven't got the "glowing" look

Hi Ladies, how’s everyone doing? I’m piling on the lbs and I’ve got a proper bump although I’m sure it’s only as big as it is because it’s mostly fat. I’m feeling pretty good now except for backache and trouble sleeping because my hips ache after a while. Can definately feel baby moving though so I’m feeling pretty good about things. Hoping this continues and it’s true what they say about the second trimester being an enjoyable time x

I'm same sparrow, trying to sleep on my sides but don't half get hip ache after a while even though I have a pregnancy pillow I find I have to prop myself up and sleep sat up a little supported by pillows, got really itchy belly and boobs but I've read that's normal as I'm getting bigger.. I'm glad you have your bump mines getting a lot bigger father in law calls me a harpoon cheeky shit!
Woke up to period style cramps this morning really scared me but I'm fine now just hoping it' was stretching pains, been lazy today lanes looked after me and not let me lift a finger bless him xx

Hi ladies glad ur both feeling good and enjoying the second trimester! This weekend has been the worst I have felt all pregnancy but I think it's because I've got some virus. Blocked nose and feels like I'm swallowing glass every time I have a drink. Finally putting myself and baby first and rang in sick for my shift tomorrow, feel really guilty about it but I've got to start being a bit more selfish. We have our gender scan tomorrow which is the only thing getting me through. Has anyone else bought a Doppler? I've had one for a couple of weeks now and sit talking to baby every night lol xx
