Anyone on lead up to Ovulation? Im CD:7, O due 16th'ish! Just looking for someone whos perhaps testing same time!

It’s a YA historical fantasy about a princess trying to find her missing brother to stop a war and a thief with no memory tasked with stealing a crown he can’t actually touch as commoners are allergic to gold.

I’m in complete need of beta readers at the end of this draft so if it sounds at all interesting do let me know I can post a proper blurb when I’m at my computer tomorrow.

I’m 6dpo and nothing interesting happening here for me, it’s too early and I’m not very hopeful I guess. Felt really low the last few days and that still continues. Just feels like yet another countdown to AF.

Having an mri on Sunday, I’ve read mixed things about it being harmful or not, if actually pregnant but I guess it probably doesn’t matter.

It must be so hard for your Millie, but I do have a lot of hope for you that you will get your miracle. Everything crossed for you x

Oh I didn’t realise that your triggers could give you a positive, I guess that’s why you have to be so strict not testing until the test date.

Yeh the trigger shot is a huge synthetic dose of the same hormone that gives you a positive pregnancy test !! Takes up to 14 days to clear. Just tested again I’m still getting a faint BFP so it’s still lingering !!

It is dreamy - I can work from home in which case yes I do just roll out of bed and often have a lunchtime nap haha. But I do make myself go in to the office three days to get me in the working frame of mind - otherwise I'm there doing the cleaning and washing.

To be fair I decided to go self employed so I could earn a decent wage on four days a week and have three days with my daughter. It's worked out pretty sweet! Is your profession something you could do from home when LO arrives (positive mental attitude!).

Hahaha oh brill thank you - I need someone to tell me no! I get you, it's like with pregnancy tests - hubby and I laugh at the digital with weeks indicator clear blue ad as it says 'written in words' and sounds so silly but it's so true for both opks and preg tests - rather just be told yes or no not have to interpret lines and gradients! xxx

@babylove2016 - sorry hun i missed this yesterday.
i do get the leisure of working from home too if i need to, in my quieter periods i definitely take advantage of working from home i love it. I hope i can do that too when i finally have a little one
Yes that advert makes me chuckle but at the same time annoyed because i want to see that little word haha. One day!!
I am 3/4DPO today and not really feeling any different, i am glad about that though because i am normally making up symptoms i swear haha. But promised myself i will be more relaxed. The only thing i have noticed is that yesterday i needed a wee ALOT. I lost count on how many times i had to take myself to the loo.

wanted to ask everyone something very random!

when you think about TTC how many of you find yourselves not doing things *incase* you get pregnant?
examples,
we are pretty avid movie go-ers but i have always refused to sign up to Limitless because when pregnant when have kid wont be able to go as much so no point paying for what cant do as much! (its a year long contract)
i have not gone on holidays because its more important we have money ready, aside for big holidays with the LO. (even tho they likely to 7+ before even do them!)

Im just sitting here thinking, perhaps we should just do limitless and stop thinking about what if's incase what if's never happen & havent so far!!
Regarding the holiday, i still would prefer to keep hold of that money and will do because it will be worse in my mind if for some reason we cant afford big holidays anymore.

I do think / wish we could have a weekend away somewhere just to breathe and get away!
However, ya know moneys money and worst case scinario we need IVF so it holds everything back!

Fingers x my 30th is awesome! ive already had people saying ' you must celebrate it ' and thinking ah yeh well.. i hope..

It's very easy to think and live like that, and yes its good that you do have that kind of mind set but at the same time i think everyone deserves a break and if you can afford a little get away or you love going to the movies then treat yourselfs. I love going on holiday so i could never justify not going just because we are TTC. Like you said and i really hope this isn't the case for you but it could take a while for you to conceive so i personally think live for the moment and think about these things when you get your bfp x

Yep September i bought a dress that was a skater type to hide a bump that would b there for a wedding. Ridiculous

Holidays don't have to be expensive though. Even little weekends away now again. I dont think you should put your life on hold incase you might be pregnant.
I think you answered your own question, if you spent £65 but could have got it for £26 its a no brainer x

Plus with the cinema you can still go when youre pregnant so even if you got pregnant now you would still have 8 months to use it and get your moneys worth even if you don't use it much in the last few months

I know what you mean, we don’t do a lot as it’s always what in case. I’m thinking long term of need ivf or help would need to be private as not entitled to help due to me already having 2 children. I just keep thinking money. We are getting married next year and want a lovely day but I look at costs and think might need that for treatment. It’s hard x

Hi i too have IVF in back of mind always.. i know its ganna cost atleast 8K. I cant give an opinion on your situation but i know personally i need to have child so i couldnt spend £ unnec' esp at the moment.
