*March 2019 Testing Thread*

7 DPO and I have had a big drop in my BBT this morning. I’ve heard of implantation dips so could be a good sign... trying not to read that much into it though!

Ahhhh ladies, i am so sorry to hear that the witch has turned up for a lot of you, bl**dy cow bag :wall2:

Babylove - so sad to hear this :-(

Sending lots of baby dust to you all :dust:

I kept a diary of my dpo symptoms last month ...I’m hitting them all this month so I think Ill be out :(

Don’t think mine are looking great either but keep a bit of hope, I don’t know that you can tell much from symptoms before you get a BFP x

You are probably right I don’t think you can tell. Still doesn’t stop us from getting upset tho does it...

Ladies i have had 9 months of symptom spotting and i can honestly say it doesn't mean ANYTHING!
Each month i tend to get a new symptom and i tell myself this must be it. It has never ended in a BFP so now i just relax and wait for AF to come, if it doesn't a massive bonus and i will test.
My advice to you all, DO NOT SYMPTOM SPOT! xx

I’m with you, I used to chart every headache, nauseous feeling, ache, pain, bloat I was relentless. After a year of every month being completely different, I gave up. The months I’ve had bfps I’ve had no more symptoms than those I didn’t. If symptoms were anywhere near accurate we wouldn’t need pregnancy tests would we?

I have found it a lot less stressful since I stopped as well.

Totally agree with you @SugaryIris.
I also have been alot less stressed the last 2 cycles because i haven't noted down every symptom xx

I agree with the symptom spotting, the months I didn't symptom spot I was much more relaxed.
And the months I barely had any symptoms, I got a bfp.
You can't really get many symptoms before the implantation and that's usually a few days before AF.
Progesterone surges also mimick loads of pregnancy symptoms, tricking us.x

Yous are all speaking a lot of sense about the symtom spotting

Did anyone find anything particularly useful in helping you to relax more around it? It’s probably not related but my last bfp came the cycle I managed to give up stressing so much. Obviously that ended sadly for me but since restarting to ttc I am unable to relax and also little things really trigger and upset me. I’d love to not be so bothered and have a “it will happen when it happens” outlook. Xxxxx

Personally i look for signs of AF instead of pregnancy , but got to admit stuggling this cycle

Hi ladies,

Well I think I’m back in the TTC game. I’m bleeding and passing clots. FRER was lighter yesterday morning than a week ago so pretty sure I’m miscarrying.

So sorry to those of you that have had AF arrive and fingers crossed for those yet to get to testing.

Xx

Oh my gosh I am so sorry :( <3

It is difficult, when I was trying for my first it was much easier as i just made a lot of plans to pass time, had things on all the time, and a lot of my friends didn’t have kids so were free to make plans.

This time it’s much harder as they all have kids or are pregnant and I’ve got my daughter too so making plans isn’t as simple. I’m just trying to keep busy with my daughter just now to pass the weeks, maybe I’ll book a weekend break for next month to look forward to, just driving distance so can do that whether I get pregnant or not x

@babylove2016 so sorry hun. I’ve had 2 MCs unfortunately so if you need any support or a chat then let me know.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again like @chattychar1990 has... we drive ourselves mad symptom spotting and it really doesn’t help us at all! I’ve had 2 BFPs but unfortunately they’ve not stuck around but those 2 months were honestly not much different than any others. BFP and AF symptoms are very similar so it’s probably best that the less we symptom spot then the better.

CD10 for me today... counting down to testing on Friday x

Oh I also forgot to say... I open up to my hubby about most things in this rollercoaster that is TTC because if I don’t I just get snappy and upset with him for no reason and he’s confused about what he’s done (he’s not done anything). I don’t tell him about OPKs as he prefers DTD being spontaneous (or so he thinks). I do tell him when AF has arrived though because I think he needs to know (even if just to not try to DTD haha).

I honestly couldn’t have got this far if I hadn’t have had my hubby t mean on. He’s got me through 2 MCs and was my rock through it all and continues to be. He usually knows just the right thing to say to make me smile and that’s priceless <3

We all have to do what’s best in our relationships but some things need to be shared and others don’t... xx
