Aw hun catheters dont really hurt at all. I didnt have an epidural but had to have a catheter both times as i tore at the front. Couldnt even feel it tbh. Im 31 weeks tomorrow and hoping next few weeks fly by xx

Scares the life out of me! Didn't want an epidural in the first place, but after been told you don't know when you need a wee etc - I really don't like the thought of losing control of my body like that!

I'm sure the weeks will fly by! Doesn't really help when you get to this stage though because you start literally counting down the days don't you! :lol:

I'm soooo glad it's Friday and that I have the weekend to relax!! I don't sleep very well nowadays, but I survive!

Rachel:your ananatal class sounds interesting! I don't want an epidural either and don't Think I can have one either due to a tatoo I have. But I'm sure we'll manage just fine without it:)
 
They're really good actually! Much better then I thought they'd be because I've heard bad things about NHS ones.
Had 3 classes so far - first one was all about labour and what to expect, second was basically the same, the stages, how the birthing partners can help etc, and yesterdays was all about pain relief, and we also did a bit at the end with some dolls on how to hold and burp your LO! Next week is nappy changing and bath time with the dolls! :lol: Can't wait to see OH attempt this bit!

I wonder if this perineal massage actually helps? I've never been interested in trying it to be honest.
 
i tried the massage with my 1st but was a waste of time due to going into labour with back to back babies. TBH the catheter suprised me thought i would hate it and sometimes i would look at the bag and think wow when did i do that lol. Kinda resigned myself to the fact i will prob have to have one again as this baby is back to back too. Im so excited even tho its my 3rd i literally cant wait xx
 
ive pretty much decided that if i cant hadle the pain then the epi is my only option, really not keen on anything else lol
 
The less medical intervention the better for me, even tho i had to be induced with jake i was adamant i didnt want an epi. x
 
How are you feeling March ladies? I'm off to see my gp now to get my bloods done and urine checked. I've just been itching a couple of days and thought it would be best to Get it checked out.
 
im feeling full and have a slowly squirming baby moving in my tum lol. all is well here ive got IT exams at 3 and if i pass them i only have 1 more to take and thats it for IT lessons for me. then maybe i can start bump n baby grp or aquanatal on a monday morning. also got my antenatal class dates today. the labour and pain relief one is 27th of feb so i better not go into labour too early or i'll miss it lol
 
All good here other than my little scare yesterday,

Got loads done at weekend, bought last few bits for my hospital bag, big knickers, cheep nitie to give birth , got a lovely changing bag n lots of clothes for baby for cheap in sales,

Also fitted car seat base and got all the 0-3 month stuff washed , all in all very productive day, no wonder i wasnt feelign movements lol

Have my 34 week MW app tmrw followed by a meetign with the Health Visitor which im a bit apprahensive over
 
I had consultant appointment this morning because of the 3 episodes of bleeding i have had this month, im ok for midwives poking about down there but felt a little uncomfortable when it was a man!
 
hey ladies, i had a lovely weekend, my parents were visiting so we went out shopping and baby got well and truely spoilt, got a changing mat, some blankets, hooded towels and a couple of outfits :)

yeah instead of me going in with bleeding next time and them not find active bleeding and send me home for it to happen again he wants me to be admitted each time for a 24 hour period... Apart from that he said sometimes bleeding happens but its not normal sometimes they cant find a reasoning. Told me to abstain from sex lol, which i thought jeez i have at least 8 weeks left then possibly 6 weeks after baby born dunno if thats gonna happen LOL.xx
 
Hi hope everyone well can't believe how quick time has gone! Not long now!! Mission this week is to get hospital bag sorted!! I have so many things to buy and do not leaving work until March 6th. I will be 36 weeks.

Wannabmummy your job sounds very stressful but rewarding! Hope you get to relax at night!

Anyone watching big brother? I can't help but like it :)

hey apple you finish work on my due date lol. how funny will that be.
ah im almost finished with larlys blanket now so soon i shall be sending it on its way across the country to be pips and keep him all snuggly warm when he arrives. just got the last layer or 2 and tassley bits to do now.
 
Bevg: Are you knitting? I got so many people in my family who's knitting so my little girl will Get at least 3 blankets of wool:)

My mission this Week will be starting washing baby clothes!! Eeeek!! :yay: Can't wait!!
 
Hi all time is really flying now!!! Glad everyone seems ok :)

I'm fine other than having 48hrs where I'm just constantly aching, did anyone have a lot of stretching pains around 32 weeks??? X x
 
yeah iv been very achey the last few weeks, and defo running ut of room , my belly is way too full up of baby to fit anything else in there.

Bev ya been busy girl on ur mternity, cantwait to see pics of the blanket, it looked great in ur half finished photo :)
i got sent over 5 cardigans from nanny in law and matching hats, sooo cute, she tole me to wash them first but im afraid il shrink them, in which case they prob just dissapear they so small to start with lol

Seems like there gonna be lots of bag packing this week, iv got all my stuff out on the bed so gonna put it in the bag this week too

Off to my MW app now, love MW days cos i get a lie in cos i dont bother to go into work till after the app :)
 
Hello ladies! Hope you're all well! I had a lovely weekend in Southampton, and the pregnancy package massage and it felt SOOOO good! :)

Gutted to be back at work, but...4 days and then bye bye! :) i will be on MATERNITY!
I was worried i might get bored but my sister has pretty much planned my first week i'm off! haha so much for taking it easy! :)

Plus i will be too busy packing, moving, unpacking and getting all of LO's things ready!!!

Just over 6 weeks left for me-so HAPPY its finally coming to an end! Although i have had an easy pregnancy i will be happy once baby is safely in my arms and i can start to be me again! click my back and sleep on my front! :) YAY! What little things has everyone else missed and can't wait to do again?
